Who doesn't want to learn how to juggle!

I am 39 years old, and I got this for my kids for Xmas. Well, I use it more than they do! I've always wanted to learn how to juggle and this kit is perfect for beginners. Great instructions, easy to read. Comes with a velvet pouch that looks too small to hold all three juggling squares, but they do fit perfectly in it. Well made and sturdy. Fun for every age.

First me, now the kids!

Same great experience! I learned juggling around 8-9 years old, using this book. Now, I'm forcing my own children to put their stupid tables/pads/pods/phablets/phones/computers/tvs/devices down for a bit, to learn themselves. The humor in the book hasn't grown stale with age, and the method is as true as ever. Great product. A 6 star review, if I could do so.

Still a relevant book and a time of video instruction.

In a time of video instruction this book still has value. I bought it for myself years ago and have since purchased it for friends and relatives. The instructions are clear, concise and humorous. The included beanbags are perfect. Not too large, easy to catch, and they don't roll away when they hit the ground (and they will hit the ground a LOT while you practice. If you want to learn how to juggle, get this book, AND a DVD. It makes a good conbination.

I received these today. Just on a whim, at 49 yrs old, I decided to learn to juggle. I started with the cheap roundish bean bag type & they were ok but I lost one and by then I had a week or so of practice & realized I would be able to juggle so I ordered a higher quality set to replace the 1st ones. While the new replacement ones are definitely high quality, they are also much more firm and the weight increase at this point in my learning curve is of no benefit at all. Also the firmness / round shape assure the dropped ball will rest at the deepest corner under the couch. I am sure they will help me improve in the future but for now these Klutz balls are all I will be using to hone my skills. I really wish I'd found them 1st because the weight is perfect, the square shape ideal and the material is soft enough to prevent much if any rolling around. I highly recommend this kit for anyone wishing to learn to juggle. The process is not nearly as difficult as I had anticipated but it is still frustrating and time wasted chasing down rolling balls does nothing to improve the juggling skills. My limited experience says this kit is the best dollars spent for the beginning juggler.

I can juggle!

This product is wonderful! I needed to teach myself how to juggle for a class (motor control) and this product did the trick. I went from only being able to catch two or three in a row, to being able to catch eight, nine, and ten no problem. These juggling bags are great for a beginner juggler, like me. The size of the balls is perfect; they fit easily into my hands. They were heavy enough to juggle with ease, which is an important aspect of finding the right juggling balls. If they are too light, it is difficult to time your tosses and toss at the right height. If they are too heavy, the tosses become fatiguing and skewed. The fabric of the material was also nice. The material is a velvet like material. It is soft to the touch, but easy to grip. You would prefer that over something that is silk like as that would be more difficult to grasp and catch. The color is also nice, something contrasting so that no matter what environment you juggle in you most likely will not lose them in the background. The book was also extremely helpful in teaching me step by step how to juggle. My instructor gave us a set of instructions to follow, but I found these easier to teach myself with. It gave me steps I would not have thought of otherwise such as tossing and dropping the balls on purpose. It was an easy read with a light tone which made it more interesting. The humor was quite enjoyable. The graphics would make a younger reader more likely to enjoy the reading. The text is large and spaced out so that it is easy to read. Overall 5 stars, I would recommend this product to anyone looking to learn how to juggle. I was kind of expecting to receive a product that is cheaply made. I appreciate the quality of the product and effectiveness of the teaching style.

Perfect for what I need

I learned to juggle using this kit 20 years ago. Purchased it in Washington DC at a shop specializing in juggling...one of the sales folks showed me how, then sold me this kit. The book is wonderful, showing the actions step-by-step. The cubes seem to be made more cheaply than the ones I purchased long ago, but still do the trick for teaching the new juggler. I use it as a schtick in one of my speeches, calling 3 unsuspecting participants up on stage, showing them the techniques, then giving them the book and cubes. I recommend it to others.

Good quality

I have always wanted to learn how to juggle. I'm 50 and thought this will be the year! This kit arrived in about a week and I'm happy with it. The book is entertaining and informidable. I am truly a klutz so we'll see if I can stick to it. The bags are nice sized and evenly weighted. Kind of hard to get into the carry pouch, but once you get them past the opening they slide right in. Found a few good YouTube videos as well so we'll see what happens!

I can't believe I'm actually juggling...

I can't believe I am juggling now because of this book. At first I thought there was no one way I could just teach myself by reading a book how to juggle but 1 month later I am juggling without even looking at the bags! Having the beanbags is a must as you will be dropping numerous times when you are first learn. Your friends and family will be impressed! Great job Klutz!

Buy this book - it's the best out there.

I learned to juggle with this book many years ago and ended up working at a renaissance festival because of it. (Individual results may vary). When I started juggling it was one of the only books available on the subject at most bookstores. While other books have been published since the basics of juggling haven't changed one bit. This book is the best place to start as a beginner juggler....unless of course you want to hire me to teach you- but this book is a lot more affordable!
