Best Wagon Ever, Beats Plastic Models; GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
My husband had a wagon as a kid and so did I; we thought that this would be the best gift and experience for any kid! Conducted a lot of research prior to selecting this one, and as many other reviews noted, the features of this wagon are the best in class. A few aspects that largely contributed toward our decision were: (1) we both had this traditional style Radio Flyer (but back in the day the body was made of wood, opposed to its current metal body), (2) the removable wooden side panels (not removable with this version, though; you either screw them on or don't; we chose to only screw on the back for back support), (3) the TIRES were a huge factor! After reading many other reviews, we were able to conclude that the wagon definitely had to be maneuverable on all types of terrain and in all weather conditions. These tires are huge, but not goofy looking like the photo here. (4) The mass amount of reviews from other purchasers moves this wagon significantly ahead of any other model. It might not be as convenient as the plastic bulky wagons with built-in storage compartments and cup holders, but if you really want to, you can purchase those accessories for this model. (5) This wagon can easily fit into the trunk of an SUV or van, or in our case a truck, with no problems. The bottom line is that the kids absolutely love this wagon, and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. We're looking forward to them using it outside once it gets warmer. The CONS (PLEASE READ): The first wagon that we received was missing a few pieces. We wrote to the seller who quickly put another wagon in the mail to us. However, because this item was a Christmas gift, we had to go to a hardware store to pick up some pieces that could hold the wagon together until the replacement arrived. Unfortunately, it also meant that we had to disassemble the first wagon in order to pack and ship it. Our suggestion is that prior to assembly, ensure that all parts and tools are accounted for (and good for you if this is already standard practice). Another note is that the second wagon was not in ideal condition, parts wise. The wooden panels were scratched up and the drilled holes looked like they were drilled by an amateur. This issue was solved by selecting the good pieces from the first wagon and screwing them onto the replacement wagon. However, this is a perfectionist issue and perhaps by other standards, this little flaw of scratches and things wouldn't be as big a deal. Still highly recommend this wagon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Radio Flyer!!

Do They Make These For Adults?
When I was 3 years old, I had a Radio Flyer wagon that took some major abuse from my friends and I. We constantly rode around in it and it just kept on going. Fast forward 30 years and I started looking for a similar wagon for my 2 year old. I came across this ATV version when I was searching for steel Radio Flyers. While it's not the same wagon, it's definitely been beefed up in all the right ways. The build is fantastic. Strong steel basin attaches to equally strong steel wheel structures. The wood that makes up the rails is high quality (pine, I think) that has a good coat of lacquer on it to protect from the elements. Putting together all the pieces was a bit challenging; but it turned out alright and took about an hour. The wheels are made of tough, dense rubber which should handle just about any debris. RF seems to have improved the safety of their toys too (or I had soft skin as a kid). There are no-pinch hinges and all the wood rails lock in with screws. The grommets that hold on to the wheels are tight and will probably NEVER come off. I had to hammer them on with full sized hammer. The bolts are not exposed and everything that might cause errant scratches is underneath the chassis. There aren't any buckles or straps to keep kids in, but that's not really the type of kid this toy caters to. My only complaint would be from my son: it's too rough-and-tumble (bumpy in his words). When going over sidewalks, there is very little suspension dampening so it's a bit of a butt-buster for small kids. I imagine he will grow out of that as he gets older. Conclusion: There are many wagons out there... there is a reason why Radio Flyer is still around and #1. Excellent build, quality experience. I hope my son buys one for his kids some day. Now if only I can get one in my size.

Love My Big Red Classic Radio Flyer Wagon!
Ah! Actually, I really enjoy this wagon for use around my yard, or easily carrying packages from the mail, etc. I am an 83-year-old widow and it brings back memories from the years I pulled my children around in Red Flyer wagons; as well as watching their adventures when they were out on their own. I will also make use of it to give the great grandchildren rides. I give credit to my son for taking time to put the wagon together so it was ready to use within a couple of hours after it was delivered. Thank you!

Don't hesitate on this one!! A+
I only wish I would have purchased this item earlier so my kids could have gotten more use out of it! I have a few friends that have the other all terrain model (which is all wood, no actual wagon) which is similarly priced, and this model is significantly nicer in my opinion! It will also keep better due to the fact that it is half metal. I have 18 month old twins, and a little one that just turned 3 and they go nuts over this! I was hesitant thinking my 3 year old would have outgrown it, but he is giddy about it! Him & his friends play with it for hours and love taking turns pulling eachother around our backyard! We are VERY pleased with this purchase!

RADIO FLYER BIG RED CLASSIC WITH LARGER WHEELS REVIEW (I still have mine from when I was a kid, LOL)
Purchased this one for a lil family member. Went with the larger wheels, so the wagon itself- with or without kid inside could be pulled through more terrain than the standard small narrow wheeled one. Either are an awesome gift for a child. Wish they were still made in the USA and wish they were cheaper! All in All, a good deal. Can be used to haul stuff to and from as well. I.E. camping, vacation, beach, flea market, swap meet, sports, school events, moving, etc. Meant as a toy for kids, but is SO Awesome that it can have multiple uses. I still have mine from when I was a kid; its 33 years old now!! Great for hauling stuff in. And perhaps your child will pass it down to their children and / or use it still when they are grown! Beats the plastick stuff they have out there these days! Get at least SOME value for what your money buys....

Awesome buy!
I got this at Amazon Warehouse for $105. It was posted used and very good but what I actually received is a new, unused wagon with just a dent on the metal part of one side corner of the wagon. Hubby got his hammer and a towel to poke it carefully and voila! It went back to how it is supposed to originally looked! We are so happy with our wagon and my 6 and 1 yr old are both happily enjoying their wagon right now. We noticed a bad smell coming out from the tires as well that's why we assembled it outdoors and leave it out in the garage. We did put it altogether without waxing and pre-treating the wood as it was suggested but we are doing it next week when we have time to go to the store. It was easy to set-up and we couldn't be happier seeing how many precious memories we will build with our family with this wagon around. Summer is the best time to be outdoors but we can see ourselves using this a lot 3 seasons except for winter where my daughter would use it as her play and reading nook. A purchase worth buying!

Little red wagon from Amazon Warehouse Deals
This is nicer version of the old wagon you may have had as a child. The oversized pneumatic tires give a slightly softer ride than the solid rubber tires, especially over curbs and bumps, plus the wider tires won't mess up your grass. I bought mine as an Amazon Warehouse deal for significantly less money than the 'brand new' price. It was stated that the wagon might have some slight cosmetic damage so we decided to give it a shot. The wagon we received was quite beat-up - one of the wood sides was broken and the red metal tray was mashed in significantly. I was able to repair the wood side and fix up the body, but I think most people would have been dismayed at the condition of the wagon. It was definitely NOT 'slight cosmetic damage.'

A couple of tips for assembly
I've wanted a Radio Flyer wagon to use in my garden for a long time, and am really pleased with the quality of this wagon. This wagon has worked well to haul heavy bags of dirt and mulch around my yard. The rubber tires help it roll along the grass really smoothly. Based on other reviews, I was concerned about the possibility of damage during shipping, but I found the wagon to be exceedingly well packed. There were sections of honeycombed cardboard packed all the way around the red wagon, and those provided plenty of protection to avoid dents or scratches in shipment. Working alone, I was able to complete the assembly in 50 minutes. The instructions are very clear about what goes where. I did have some difficulty at two steps. In step 6, it says to "tighten until just snug," but I found that I had to tighten as hard as I could to get the hole to open up enough to insert the cotter pin. (As a woman, my idea of "just snug" is probably different that the manufacturer's.) In the final step, #12, I had difficulty maintaining the alignment of the rubber safety ball with the handle and the part that attaches to the wagon. What finally helped was to use masking tape to hold the rubber ball in the correct alignment in the handle, so that I could then put them with the wagon part without moving them.

Just as I remembered as a child !!
Just like the one I had as a child !! Just bought this little red radio flyer for my granddaughters 1st birthday, arrived in a very timely manner, ordered on July 3rd, arrived on July 8th. When I opened the box ,I was pleasantly surprised, all the parts were there, no damages, very easy to follow instructions, it took about 30 minutes to assemble, looks great all together, took me down memory lane !! A great quality piece that my granddaughter will enjoy for a long time !! Would highly recommend..

Good choice
As I get older I look for things to help me ease the strains of the aging process. I cannot say enough about how many ways I have found to use this little red wagon. The air filled tires are the key. The higher wagon sides are also helpful. The wagon steers easily on grass or on a hard surface. I use the little red wagon to bring dog food from the truck to the storage shed, to move bags of potting soil, fertilizer, etc., to move heavy buckets of water to fertilize new trees and plants out of reach of my water hoses, to move large plants too heavy to carry, and many other uses. The tires even allow for it to go up steps, albeit carefully. Good purchase would buy it again, and again, and again.
