Great bit. Time saver.
I never knew how easy life could be until I started using this bit. The Freud quality is legendary, and this bit is no exception. I use it all the time, and have never had any problems with it. The 1/2" shank is a real plus. I recommend this bit highly.

no complaints here
quality of the bit is as expected, great. Used it for a diy snowboard project where I had to cut multiple materials including MDF, Plastic and cured fiberglas/resin. I know it's not intended for fiberglass, it did well enough for light trimming.

Good for template following or edge jointing
This is a great router bit. The half inch shank makes me feel like it's extra stable in the collet. I often use this in a router table as a poor-man's jointer. I like to use a bit with a bearing so that when I align my fence with a straight edge, I don't have to put the straight edge against the cutting edge. I believe this protects the edge and helps me keep the bit in good shape. I've also used this bit to follow a template, and it works well. The bearing rotates very smoothly.

This is another great bit. I make a lot of furniture pieces ...
Freud is my go to for router bits. This is another great bit. I make a lot of furniture pieces with complex curves an find building a pattern then using it to route the pieces to size is the best way for consistency in the piece. I use 1/4" ply or luan ply for most of my templates. The bearing on this bit follows my templates well and makes quick work of complicated work. Another great Freud product.

Great bit for trimming thick surfaces
This bit is HUGE. I think the photo is of the shorter 1" version, while this 42-204 model has a full 2" of cutting area. It's a monster. But it's exactly what I needed to trim the edge of a 1.5" workbench top made from two pieces of 3/4 MDF. Very smooth, very stable, and cut well. As always, wear gloves when trying to remove the bit from the case--the Freud cases often hold the bit pretty tight, so don't try and grab this bit with your bare hands.

Freud flush router bit
I purchased this bit for use in my Bosch router mounted to a table. I used my old bit a lot and it was cheaper quality. The bearing broke off one time and so I decided not to skimp on its replacement. I expected a lot from this bit because I use Freud blades in all my saws. It did not disappoint. Super sharp and it cuts fast and smooth, even when doing template cuts with 3/4 solid ash. If you need to flush cut a lot I highly recommend.

This will serve you well.
Heavy duty. It is construction grade like it says. I put it through hell straight out of the package and have continued to do so and it hasn't let me down. Be careful when you pull it out of the package it's in. Don't pull it out by the bit even with gloves, use a screwdriver to push it out from the hole on the bottom. It sliced through my glove and my hand, REAL SHARP! (I know, I'm an idiot)

Buy
I have used the hell out of this bit and it continues to provide a smooth edge every time on 3/4" wood of various species. Very impressed. I've easily ran 800 feet of wood past this bit both free hand and on a table so I would seriously question any negative reviews on this item.

None of the problems others have list here!
Mine worked perfect! Bearing was tight (so far) and was the right size. I know many have said that was a problem with their bit.

Works like a champ
When you need a flush cut bit there's just nothing else that will do. Be sure to note that this is for a 1/2" collet. If your router doesn't have a 1/2" collet you'll need the 1/4" diameter bit. The bit is super sharp and cut my end grain mahogany like a champ. Definitely a winner.
