• ACCURACY AND DURABILITY: This aluminum rafter angle square boasts a solid aluminum body with CNC machined edges for greater accuracy and durability for any job or worksite
  • BUILDERS AND CONTRACTERS: The thick edge is useful as a saw guide. It can be used directly with the saw against the square for cross cuts or angled cuts using the etched protractor scale. It can be used indirectly as well, using the scribing notches to create a saw cut line for rip cuts
  • SIMPLIFY STAIR LAYOUT: The Johnny Square’s integrated distance and angle scales let you quickly and accurately mark your cut lines on your stringers and, of course, this rafter square has scales for cutting hip, valley and jack rafters
  • ONE NUMBER LAYOUT: For roofs, solar panel supports, stairs, cabinets trim work and many other layout projects. The rafter scales are laid out mathematically to avoid time consuming calculations
  • ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Permanent graduations with easy-to-read numbers, continuous scribing notches – ideal for ripping at 3-1/2” and 5-1/2”, 2x4 board dimension markers for measuring 1-1/2”, 3” and 3-1/2”, low-glare protective powder coated finish

It is heavy comparing to a plastic square. The feature which let you stuck the pencil and make marks with it is great. Pretty sure if you throw it around it will break at some point but that's not how you use a speed square right lol

Surprisingly square and stands plumb - *almost* perfect against my Milers Falls and Starrett combination squares. Graduations are very accurate and lays flat like its suppose to. I purchased both 7" and 12" and have no complaints. They should serve as good replacements.

Love the notches for marking rip cuts, that was the main reason for my purchase. Don't know why all brands don't have this useful feature. Tool is well made, arrived with a couple of small areas where the paint/coating was chipped, but it's gonna get scratched up in use anyway so not a big deal.

Best speed square for framing. The notches as every 1/4 inch really help if you have to rip lumber down. Haven't seen another with as many notches.

I had a plastic version of this tool that broke after several years of use. This aluminum tool should last a lifetime.

I use the product for square cuts with my circular saw. I hold the square tight to the lumber and slide the saw fence against it to get a straight cut. Not too large to hang on a tool belt.

I have used this model of speed square for a long time, for me is the best I ever use, easy to read and very helpful when you need to trim a board. two tumbs up, very recommendable

I love this square I find it to work best for me cause of the 51/2" scribing spots, it all so comes with a handy lil book let with a lot of helpful info you can put in use right on the job to save time.

I use it primarily as a cutting guide for my circular saw and it does the job well. The bigger size of the square allows me to cut wider boards with great success.

Bought a second one for my Father-in-law. These are the best speed squares. Made in USA Quality.
