Bought this to scrub our cast iron grill/griddle pan and it works great. Being able to toss it in the dishwasher after using it is really convenient too. For $4.99 this might be a better investment than the $12 Lodge specialty cast iron brush, which mostly has poor reviews.

The bristles are firm and high quality. They have not frayed or worn out and we have been using the brush for a few months. Also, it is easy to rinse food off the brush, which is great for avoiding gross sponge smells!

At first the bristles seemed too stiff, but they broke in within a week. I love this brush and use it for many jobs that either require some extra scrubbing power or for items that have awkward shapes and grooves. I clean my kitchen items with a combination of this dish brush, a bottle brush, and a sponge, depending on the kind of debris I am cleaning and the type of utensil I am cleaning. This brush does a lot of the work, and I like that food particles rinse out easily, so when cleaning gross stuff like eggs, it can spare my sponge's scour pad.

This scrub brush fits in the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Sink Caddy very nicely even though this brush isn't the exact same size as the brush they suggest with it.

This is just a normal everyday dish brush so why am I writing a review? Well, I bought the OXO dish soap dispensing dish brush with drip catching stand and hated that brush. It was big, clumsy, heavy when filled with dish soap, and it dispensed way too much and wasted so much soap. But I dearly loved the drip catching stand. So I got this, and it fits the stand! What can I say about this versatile brush? It does dishes of all sizes and shapes, fits in all my mugs and glasses, as well as mason jars and baby bottles. I was happy to get rid of all my other brushes of various sizes on top of that clunky OXO one and to just keep this one on the counter. And with the stand... it's PERFECT. Hooray!

We've tried to find this brush at local stores like Target and they're no where to be found. These stand up for what seems like an eternity. We had to buy more because we eventually got food stuff that we couldn't get out. I'd say we got a good 6 months out of our first one. The bristles are extremely sturdy no matter what you are cleaning. We have no trouble getting the brush into any of our dishes, even kids cups. We stuck a command hook on the wall above the sink to hang it on, which works really well. The brush will also hold onto dish soap pretty well if you put on too much the first time. You'll still have soap the next time, and no, this does not have a soap reservoir. We found those leak soap, are expensive and just a waste. We also use these for cleaning the toilets as the handle is shorter and the bristles are stronger...less elbow grease and a better clean.

These have been my dish brushes of choice for 5 years or so. If you take proper care of them, each will last about 18 months. I have found other brushes to be either too soft or too stiff. When new, these bristles are a bit stiff so be careful about how much pressure you exert. But their configuration in the rounded pattern makes it okay. Given enough use and exposure to hot water, I have found that the bristles soften a bit. I usually put the brush in the dishwasher about once a week to sterilize. But after each use I make sure that it's rinsed clean.

We went through multiple of those brushes with a integrated reservoir for soap, they seemed nice but in practice they ALWAYS wound up getting moldy over time since you couldn't get them dry or clean the inside part. Then we got this simple brush and it is great. Durable enough to run it through the dishwasher to get clean (toss it in there once a week or so) but strong enough to really scrap off the worst of the much. OXO always has a good handle so it's easy to grip.

OXO is one heck of a brand! They win almost every America's Test Kitchen product reviews no matter the kind of product they're testing. I've loved every OXO product I've used, from frying pans, to spatulas, can openers and now this brush. It's long enough to wash glasses and water bottles, but tough enough to scrub off grease and grime from baking dishes. The straight plastic cleat at the end of the brush is great for scraping off burnt on/stubborn bits from plates and dishes. The bristles are just right -- not too stiff, not too soft. I've had other cleaning brushes that are too hard and flick soap and water all over the place.

This is my second purchase of this dish brush. I bought the first one a few years ago and used it several times every day. The bristles are firm enough to clean well, but have a little flexibility so as not to scratch your dishes. I also like the scraper on the end. It's easy to rinse food particles out, and cleans up well in the dishwasher. After several years of use, the bristles started to splay out a bit, so I retired it to clean around the house and bought a new one. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this brush, and will buy another one when this brush starts to show its age.
