No complaints, easy to install, tough line
I recently purchased a new Black and Decker weed annihilator and ordered this pack of three replacement strings. I just had to replace the spool that came with the trimmer. My husband usually does the maintenance on the stuff around here but since this was my gift to myself, I thought that I would quite being an incompetent, suck it up and learn to do it for myself. I don't know how much easier the process could have been, My hands are small so I at first had a little difficulty pinching the releases on either side of the holder on the bottom of the trimmer, but once it released, bam! I had in installed in seconds and was ready to go again. The spools last a log time and I do put them through tough work because we grow a bevy of very tough weeds here in the Ozark hills.

XLNT Trimmer Line 3-Pack
I used to buy a single spool but when I ran out of line during trimming I had to stop and go get another. This 3-pack was a great investment and makes it more efficient. The line is heavy duty and is xlnt for edging the lawn, trimming around trees & removing weeds that grow in the cracks along the sidewalk and driveway. I've even used it for removing deep growing weeds that have thick roots and trimming around sprinkler heads. I finally got smart and buy two 3-packs, at a time.

Life is short, learn a lesson from me (multi generational re-winder), just buy the premade spools, saves time, less frustration
I broke down and bought a set of these, they work fantastic I was just being cheap trying to rewind spools on my own after they were empty with aftermarket weed line, well most of the time the winds get caught up or don't flow correctly which results in me having to mess with it over and over to keep the line feeding out correctly. I am finally done with that, and although I didn't want to spend the money on these now I am done and set probably for the 2016 yard season, I use my B&D trimmer for both edging and trimming I may take one empty spool as a backup but I think I am ready to just toss that replacement line and buy 3 packs of this when they go on sale on amazon, life is honestly just too short and I am too busy to try and save $3-4 rewinding a spool that never works right LOL My dad rest his soul would disagree, but then again I remember him doing the same thing out there messing constantly with the spools he wound, these don't have that problem they are wound well and feed great till they are gone, I only wish the materials were stronger so they would last longer but once a year in spring I will buy at least a 3 pack when they go on sale from now on and just enjoy more time with the family vs messing with the dumb spools trying to rewind them :)

This bundle makes life easy
So I ordered the weed wacker months ago and the spool finally ran out. I ordered one of these with the unit so I wasn’t worried—-except I can’t for the life of me find the spool I bought, that I’ve seen a million times, somehweee, until apparently I moved it. It’s a pretty inexpensive but completely necessary 3 pack so I just ordered another one knowing the first batch won’t go bad on me and I’ll find it eventually. It was pretty easy getting the new spool into the head, and I’ve never done this before. Didn’t need directions or any help regardless of how mechanically declined I am, I was able to do it.

The Only Problem I Have is Trying to Remember Which Way It Goes In
I have a Black and Decker Grasshog. The spool actually is easy to replace, but I just sometimes forget which way it goes in. This package was nicely bundled up. I was relieved that when I undid the tape, the line remained tightly wound. Some time ago, I had bought a similar product from another store, and the line came undone. This caused a lot of problems with loading it, and I had to to eventually just throw the unused spools away. It is strong and cuts well. I have a yard full of ground cover and weeds. It generally does very well, though there are some weed types that it can't cut well...but then again, these types couldn't even be cut too well with a lawn mower. They are just incredibly strong. I was surprised at how expensive the product was, but it does last a while...so I guess it isn't that bad really. During the summer, we are almost always outside cutting. We use a weedwhacker instead of a lawnmower to cut our lawn. It is easier for us and more efficient. Therefore, we really do get a lot of use out of this. It has been at least several months since I've had to replace the line.

Good and durable, does a decent job.
Good and durable, does a decent job. Note: I do not have PRIME since Amazon.com does NOT stand behind their BS mark-up service and have become WORSE since they started pushing it so much at delivering non PRIME items. I have the edger/trimmer and I like that these replacement heads are easy to find, come in an affordable package, and are easy to replace even for someone using it for the first time. They last pretty well but I have a small yard.

two seperate items
The manufacture 'string' is ideal for grass. I also got the heaver .95 'pro' line. which is square not round. IT IT IDEAL FOR ANY THING YOU WILL ENCOUNTER. It is HEAVER LINE so you will not get the long durability of a smaller line but it works very well. I have 'weeds' over 2' tall and it does a super job CUTTING them down. IF ALL YOU HAVE IS GRASS THEN YOU WILL HAVE A FAR SUPERIOR TOOL Compared to the standard or very light duty cutter. IT IS ALMOST A BRUSH CUTTER

I didn't know putting more cord in a trimmer could be this easy
I go back to the old-fashioned weed whackers, where it was necessary to wind new cord just right. I used to put that off until I absolutely had to do some lawn work with the whacker. I got a Black+Decker battery powered trimmer last year (model MTC220), and it ran out of cord for the first time a couple weeks ago. I ordered this three pack of replacement cord, and it took about 30 seconds to install it in the trimmer. This three pack will probably last me several more years of light trimming. It's pretty tough too, despite not being that thick. Recommended.

Always Be Prepared For the Job!
Purchased this along with the Black & Decker 3-n-1. If you are going to do a job, make sure you have all the tools necessary. These spools of trimmer are good for what they were purchased for. They do the job. Happy I purchased more that estimated.

It will run out too fast if you do all the BAD THINGS the instructions clearly state to NOT DO
If used right, lasts very long and is well worth the price! I'm on my second summer and my 2nd spool still has some line left in it after two full months of use (just this summer) in a medium sized yard with heavy growth. If you bounce your trimmer often, or hit brick walls or fences often- this type of line is NOT FOR YOU! It will run out too fast if you do all the BAD THINGS the instructions clearly state to NOT DO!
