Made a Z-wave controlled valve using this

Utilizing this valve to control some soaker hose I have in a garden bed. I got threaded fittings to go from the npt thread to garden hose thread and affixed unit to my hose bib. Then ran a length of hose out to gardens bed where it connects to soaker hose. Bought a 24vac transformer that plugged into a zwave controlled outlet, ran some thermostat wire from transformer to valves, water proof wired nuts and viola! I have a zwave controlled valve so I can water plants remotely and even setup a timed scene. I do need to keep hose bib on but that's not a big deal. I do want to get a backflow preventer installed for the hose bib. But valve has been working great so far (2 months now) and I like how I can adjust flow on valve.

Very Reliable

I bought these in 2005 and worked great ever since I moved out in 2016 and never had a problem. Just bought four for my new house and they appear to be the same reliable Valve I previously purchased. Top notch product.

Good quality valve

Very good quality sprinkler valve. I especially like the volume adjustment that allows me to fine tune the water pressure to the sprinkler heads. The Amazon price was excellent, and delivery was prompt.

Nice replacement

My solenoid went out on my sprinkler valve. I only used the top half and it fixed my issue.

GREAT VALVES!

These valves work great!They reduce my 100+PSI water supply down to 15-25 PSI, and are fully adjustable. I initially bought three, and after installing them, bought three more! The quality and durability are great, I highly recommend this product.

Rain Bird's superiority.

I have only Rain Bird products at my home here in West Texas. Sometimes I use these valves for the diaphragm on them but this time I needed replacement valves as the old ones became unserviceable.
