Lock

The combination lock is fantastic for sports lockers. Mo keys to worry about. Very secure . The only fault if somebody removes the lock and mixes it up without the combination the lock has to be disgarded

Dial lock

This is a great heavy duty lock. I used it to secure a semi moving across country and now it keeps my fence locked up tight. I like the dial combination vs a key because you don't have to keep track of a key and the dial is so simple even kids can use it when needed.

Great outdoor lock

I use this on my gate around the pool. I need the code option because the pool guy needs access and he loses keys. It doesn't fit the clip part of the gate, but it does fit the frame holes. One of my gates is slightly recessed and this is too big to get in there. I bought 2 and use it on 1 gate and on my box with all my pool chems. If my other gate allowed it, I would have 3. I live in the desert and it has survived 125 degrees and monsoon storms. Can't vouch for freezing temps yet as i didn't have them last winter. If you want a rugged lock, you found it.

For Yeti Owners

Lock will fit a Yeti, but you will have to install the lock upside down if you want easy access. Let’s face it, the cooler is at least 20 lbs and you are putting another 20-30 lbs of drinks and ice. It would be tough to lift, hold and enter a combination at the same time. So heavy cooler users should install the lick upside down.

Using this for an outside electrical box. Make sure you measure the opening versus the diameter of this shank. We had to drill out the hole a little in order for it to fit.

Been using these things for years on different applications. I have a couple locks that have faded in the sun to the point of being nearly silver, but they still work perfectly! If they're gonna be outside, spray them down with some WD-40 so they don't corrode. The ones that sat outside started to get stiff from rain getting in. WD-40 once a year clears them out and keeps them working perfectly. I LOVE having the same combo on every tongue lock on every trailer we have!

These Master locks are good for what they are, and have a longer shackle when you need one.

These Master locks are good for what they are. The SESAMEE combo locks (CCl Security Products, also on Amazon) locks are better made but these Master Locks have a longer shackle when you need one. The SESAMEE combo locks have a unique "in the dark" operation feature where you can rotate the wheels in one direction and they stop at 0000. The Master Locks while very similar, do not have this feature. Opening a combo lock in the dark can be difficult. If working in the dark, best to plan to have a flashlight of better yet - a LED head lamp.

Can't Beat These Locks

Got at least three, all set to the same combo...on campers, trailers, gates, and anything else that requires a long hasp and resistance to outside elements. Body and other components are of solid brass so it weathers exceptionally well. I had an old one that lasted 10 years on a gate to a marina dock over water...left it still working when I moved away...
