Bought for my mom
For most of my life it was just me and my mom. She was a single mom and I was her only child. When I moved out she said I could have half of her stuff (after all, it was just going to be her when I was gone). Apparently half of her stuff did not include her granite ware roasting pans. Oops. After 6 years of me moving out she told me that she wanted one for her birthday. So, since I took both of hers, I went ahead and bought her 2 replacements. A medium and a large.

Nostalgia and old school quality
This is exactly like the one my mom used when I was growing up, and still uses to this day. The quality has not changed over time and the one I ordered was just as nice and well made as my moms. It does a wonderful job for everything from chickens to Chex mix!

Once again perfect
Perfect choce for big Turkey, tried smaller version on small turkey and it worked great, so my big bird for thanksgiving was a go and my bird came out flawless, slow roasted, juicy and beautifully brown, absolutly perfect and the price was great.

Love the lid so I don't have to use aluminum foil
I just used this roasting pan for the first time this week, cooking a 10-pound organic turkey. If you normally cook 15 pounders and up, you will definitely need the bigger size pan. I always get the smallest turkey I can find, so this was just right for my family. Also takes less storage space. The lid does naturally baste the bird as it cooks, just like the description said. It has bumps on the bottom of the pan but I used a rack to elevate the bird more. For the first time, I tried cooking the turkey overnight---found instructions online that said to cook at 200 degrees. Well, I forgot that on my oven 200 degrees is actually 175, so it needed more cooking in the morning. But this pan served me well though it all. It cleaned up very nicely too.

Moist turkey, finally!
Purchased for thanksgiving turkey. I had a 14.5 lb turkey and it fit...any bigger and I’m not sure it would have! I bought the 19” one too because our Christmas turkey is a little over 15 lbs and it would not fit, I’m sure. The turkey turned out nice and moist with lots of drippings for gravy. I ended up over cooking...I followed the time per pound guides and checked it 45 minutes early and the temp was already 190! Despite that, it was still more moist than any turkey I’ve ever made in an open roasting pan...we have been enjoying all of the leftovers!

Long lasting
My last Roaster was purchased about 40 years ago. I do a lot of cooking from home and I use this frequently. It works for all kinds of meats from Turkey, chicken, meat loaf, roast beef, and many other dishes. I love the size which makes it multi-purpose. Here's to the next 40 years with my new Roaster! Love it!

Loved the way this roaster cooks turkey and chicken
I loved the way the turkey cooked in this pan. The cover provided an excellent way to keep the moisture so that the turkey was nice and juicy. I never even had to baste the turkey once, the lid did all the work for me. I left the lid off for the last 15 minutes of cooking (to brown)...I plan on using this roaster pan every year going forward. I have even used it for cooking chicken with vegetables with excellent results.

Just like Mom used to have except hers had a tray ...
Just like Mom used to have except hers had a tray with handles that made getting the cooked turkey very easy to remove from the pan. This was, however, probably the juiciest turkey we've had in awhile and it was only basted once! When it was time to crisp up the skin, we just took the cover off for a few minutes until the skin was brown. No more dried out white meat.

My new best friend in the oven.
This is my best friend in the oven. I am not a cook. I can cook really well, but I no longer enjoy cooking. This saves me time and effort. My turkey was loved by all. I put aluminum foil in the bottom and cook ribs. They are delicious without the sticky mess. When I forget to use the foil, I just fill 1/4 way with water and put it in the oven on 350 for about 10 mins. Anything stuck just wipes out with a paper towel. I noticed my ribs cook faster because of the lid. So check your food until you get used to it. I bake chicken and even throw in fresh veges. I love a one pan meal. It is a great price. I bought this for Thanksgiving 2016, and use it all the time.

For the price, very good roaster
For the price (at the time it was $11), I cannot complain about this roaster. I used it to roast a bunch of chicken pieces and worked perfectly. It cleaned easy without leaving chicken residue. Have not used on a whole bird yet. The metal feels a little thin, but again for only $11, what can I expect.
