Hard to find

These days, those trays are hard to find as there is hardly any demand for them. Even the Kodak Carousel projectors are now extinct. I still have a lot of slides that I have not gotten around to convert to digital. I needed one of those, I got, it works. Therefore I am a 'Happy Camper'.

For how old the technology is, they do the job. They made products with more quality back then which is the only reason why they can still refurbish them and sell them today.

KODAK Transvue 140 Slide Tray

The KODAK Transvue Slide Trays come in three (3) dimensions: 80, 120 and 140 slides. This means that you can size your trays to the most suitable size for your application. For "shorter runs" 80 slides per tray is fine. If one has large number of slides to project, the largest trays carrying up to 140 slides may be the solution. Make sure to have the plastic "snap-in" ring available so as to "secure" the to be projected pictures in place in the Transvue Tray. This prevents accidental dislocation of the slides lodged into the Transvue Slide Tray.

Original equipment at original price.

I was reviewing my >6000 slides for our 50th wedding anniversary and found some of the old trays malfunctioned because the clips that control the advancing mechanism had broken. These are original Kodak carousels and work as intended. I still had price stickers on some of my old trays and these were purchased for the same amount!
