Surprised it actually works!

I was very skeptical that this would actually work, but I'm glad to be proven wrong! I have several pairs of canvas/cloth shoes, and this helps water, dirt, etc. roll right off them without leaving any marks! It does have a strong odor as you are spraying it, but the smell dissipates as the fabric dries.

Works as Intended

I turned down the RTG warranty package with their magic fabric protestant for $70 per couch and bought this pack of 2 cans. Took about 1.5 cans to do a love seat and a couch, spraying all cushions back and front, and arm rests. The smell after spraying is super strong, but since then there have been 2 spills on the couch and nothing stained or soaked in. Saved myself $140 and couldn't be happier.

Save yourself some money

The last time we bought a couch we had it "professionally Scotchgarded" by the furniture store. I watched them take out this identical can and spray away...$50 per piece added to the bill. The wiser me now purchases cans on Amazon and sprays everything herself from furniture to car interiors, couch pillows, etc.

Great Product

We use this on our shoes, furniture and any fabric that we want to protect from stains. All you have to do is wipe off any liquids on a spill and we have never had a stain.

Works great at protecting my couch

Works great at protecting my couch. Just shake and spray the heck out of it. Make sure to have good ventilation, or you spraying your couch may be the last thing you do.

Life saver!

I bought scotch guard for my brand new light tan Couch. A few days after spraying it, I had a guest with a cut on his toe who bled alllll over my new Couch cushion. Before I went into panic mode and had to murder this poor guy, I ran to the sink, grabbed a towel, soaked it, and started scrubbing. I couldn’t believe it but the blood came literally right out. You can’t even see a spot. This stuff is great.

I got 4 chairs made with cream linen and I put 3 coats on them and works great !! I poured water on one chair and it stayed on top until I wiped it off

Perfect for the new car

I read a lot of reviews before choosing this product to use on two new (to me, but preowned) car interior. One has a light gray fabric, and while the other is a dark blue, I know that both would stain as soon as the first glass of tea or Coke spills! This was easy to use and will protect the seats. I rolled the windows down and used a large black yard trash bag cut open to drape and tape across the front of the car, covering the window and the dash. I put another trash bag over the console to protect it from spray. The directions read to wipe off immediately any trace spray that goes anywhere other than the fabric, so I didn't have to deal with that. I pulled the car into the garage then, sitting on top of one of the bags since the seat was just sprayed, and allowed the car to air out and the fabric to dry. Now water just rolls right off.

Great purchase, saved lots of money, extra uses

Great price, so much cheaper to do it yourself as opposed to having the furniture company charge $100 to coat with the same item. I purchased a couch and loveseat with throw pillows. Was able to add two coatings to both couches and the throw pillows and still have some in the first can left. Will be able to re-protect the couches in the future. SO much cheaper than the price the furniture company wanted to add to my overall price.
