New Side hustle for my 13 year old!

Our 13 yr old asked for a pair of clippers for Christmas because he wanted to learn how to cut hair and make some extra money when he goes off to college in a few years. He has been watching videos on YouTube and getting tips from my husband who began cutting his own hair at 15 and also from my husbands barber. This little set is perfect for him. I wear a cut that is tapered in the back and on the sides and he practices on me each week. Its a win for us both. He also trims his brother and from time to time his dad will let him work on him as well. The color coded guards are perfect. No complaints, it a great product. The cuts are perfect, painless and very precise. Great starter product!

Holy Cow What A Deal!

I cannot believe all this came with this kit. The color coded trimmer MAKE IT SOOO EASY! I feel like if I didn't have that it would take forever. I am using this for my 2 yr old son. It makes quick work of his hair. The only thing I would suggest is getting yourself a brush to use to brush the hair off the person you are trimming. Its nice there is one in the kit but its not the best. This kit does include the Brow and Ear trimmer clips! TOTALLY WORTH IT

My First and only one was giving to me as a Gift when I was very Young, and ever since I learned to cut my own Hair and still works. Everything was as it should be, and the item arrived earlier than expected. The trimmer works properly, and was properly tuned/adjusted out of the box. The noise it makes is entirely correct for a new trimmer of this variety, and its operation is flawless. The product photograph I viewed before purchasing perfectly matches the items included upon arrival. The trimmer has a decent heft, a solid feel, a good grip, and an ergonomic form and texture. In short, it appears to be every bit the quality product it was touted to be, and I look forward to a long, dependable service life.

Bought to start saving money on my toddler's haircuts. I have zero experience with haircuts and this is very user friendly! I get compliments all the time on his haircuts. They have paid for themselves over and over already. He was 1.5 when I started using them and has never been scared of the noise. I was surprised at how quiet they are considering they aren't advertised as quiet. They really should mention that!

Easy to use, and will save you hundreds of dollars over the years.

Wahl makes very good clippers. This set comes with everything you need to give yourself, or someone else, a great haircut. Just decide how short you want your hair, and pick the matching comb. The different size combs makes it easy to fade the sides into a longer top length. If you are doing a buzz cut, it will give you a great cut in a few minutes. It cuts hair very fast, and does not pull at all. This clipper will pay for itself with only 2 hair cuts. Just keep the blades oiled, and it will last you for years to come. Watch a few video clips on YouTube, and you will see how easy it is to give yourself a nice looking haircut. I'm looking forward to saving a bunch of money over the years with this clipper set.

So far best brand I have ever used over 10+ years

Very good hair trimming tool! I used this tool for 10+ years until the device stared acting up. To be honest I never cleaned or taken it apart, so maybe that's why it didn't last as long as I hoped. After device went haywire, I purchased a different brand but it wasn't as good. When Amazon offered a good deal on the whole set I reordered the same brand again and very happy with results. I particularly like the blade oil and cleaning brush which came in a set. I definitely recommend this brand.

Used these to give my son a haircut at home...

I'm not quite sure why this product has low reviews! In fact, reading them, I was hesitant to purchase it. The color coded guards really sold me. So, I bought it. And I'm glad I did. The noise level is very tolerable. The instructions are very thorough. I DID WATCH A COUPLE YOUTUBE VIDEOS BEFOREHAND. That's a must. Otherwise, you're going to mess up. Once I had watched the videos and printed out a piC. of what my son wanted his hair to look like, I was ready. It took about 5 minutes to familiarize myself with all the different guards, blade oil (OIL YOUR BLADES PRIOR TO USE FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS) . GO LONG. YOU CAN ALWAYS CUT SHORTER IF NEEDED. The kit includes several guards all color coordinated, 3 fine toothed combs, hair clips, hair cutting scissors and an apron for your client. I have to admit, it did take me awhile to do his first haircut, I was extra cautious and perhaps took more time than needed. I did the back and sides first. I made a part on each side of his head and clipped the hair back. I used that part to know when to stop shaving.. I then cut and styled his hair on the top (again by watching a YOUTUBE video) then I went back and used the right and left ear guard to cut around the ears, lined his neck up and lined his sideburns up. DONE! I thought it looked cute and most importantly HE liked it!! I would recommend anyone to use these as they are very durable, come with a small bottle of blade oil (I bought some anyways) and are perfect for cutting hair at home so as to avoid the exuberant price of haircuts these days. This is a very good product!! Two thumbs up!

LOVE IT

This thing is awesome. I've read a couple of reviews about how "loud" this thing is. My little guy is now 4 years old. Since the day he was born he's had a hearing condition in one of his ears that causes everything to be WAY to loud in it. So naturally, he was TERRIFIED of our old clippers (they sounded more like a weed eater or electric hedge trimmers). We bought this more the range of length in the guards than anything. If he was going to be afraid, at least we could cut his hair at reasonable lengths. But these things (while they obviously make noise) hardly bother him at all. He actually sits still and lets me cut his hair now. So worth the money for my family.
