due to the other reviews, upon arrival of two of these pans (6qt and 1.5qt), I ran them through the dishwasher. both came out perfect. I then put the 6qt stock pot to the non-stick test and made a half batch of Caramels. also perfect - I did heed warnings and kept the heat lower than I would with coated pans. the candies were great and the pot cleaned out very easily! I'm impressed with the ones I've purchased so far- the 1qt should be delivered tomorrow and I have high hopes! the 6qt stock pot states it is ready for induction use, but the 1.5qt makes no mention on the packaging.

This 16 quart stock pot appears of good quality for the price. I ordered it without finding the exact dimension for it and hoped for the best. For anyone interested: 5-1/4" from bottom to rim of pot w/o lid 7-1/2" to top of lid handle 10" wide w/o handles 13-1/2" with handles Pot has an inside scale showing 5 liters/20 cups

Durable, and hasn't warped or anything weird. It boils stuff. What more do you want from a big pot? Sure it gets water stains and stuff, but if I wasn't so lazy about cleaning I could get those out with some Barkeeper's Friend. Who wants to taste that in their spaghetti though? Good pot. Big pot. Good big pot.

Pot works as advertised. Has a nice, heavy base for holding and regulating heat, but the sides are thin enough that the pot doesn't weigh a ton. I've experienced the usual amount of interior discoloration for a steel pan, the same kind of thing I see on my All-clad and Viking pans. Easily cleaned with vinegar. No problems with pitting, no problems with leaking, no problems with rusting. Exterior has held it's shine well. Nice lid. Much cheaper than high-end brands. Solid 5 star product.

I’ve had the Cuisinart stainless steel set for over 15 years and I love the clean, sleek, classic design. I wanted a smaller stock like pot, and this 6qt one is perfect for my cooking needs. These clean up very well, retain that beautiful shine, cooks evenly, and the handles don’t require mitts to handle. Love these pots and pans!

I have an older version of this that is much thicker, i think they skimp out a little bit on this new stuff, but honestly if i didn't have the old one right next to it sometimes i don't think i'd be able to tell the difference when cooking. It cooks just as good as the old one, and it weighs a lot less, so that's a plus to some people! 3 and a half year update: ** this pot is still going strong! It slightly discolored on the outside bottom of the pan but really nothing of note. I don't understand the bad reviews! I run mine through the dishwasher like 2-3 times a week, and use it almost every day. It is not quite as nice as my all clad but it's very good!

I love the size and durability of this pot. It's the perfect size for cooking spaghetti sauce!. I bought it after I had bought an entire set. The set had everything but this size pot and when I found this I knew it was exactly what I needed.

I've had this particular set for about 17 years and it is REALLY a great professional set! I finally decided to purchase this particular pot because I wanted something larger than the 3 qt. sauce pan I have for boiling larger amounts of pasta, and this does not disappoint. I stayed with this particular model because it has worked so incredibly well for almost 2 decades. I've never been sorry for buying it.

I have the pasta pot which is great for dried pasta like De Cicco but when you have fresh pasta and don’t need as large a pot this one is perfection.. doesn’t take as long to boil water and makes great fresh pasta use all the time when 2 minutes is my limit great buy

Lovely, shiny and just the right weight and size! I needed a pot for whipping potatoes and that was a nice mid size for a decent sized soup. This has a nice heft to it, but not so much that it's a pain to hand wash. Good heat distribution and lid fits in the groove beautifully. Cuisinart makes great stuff!
