The difference is amazing!

My teeth cleaning habits never included brushing my tongue, but one day I was looking at my tongue and it looked like there was a bit of a white film covering it. I tried brushing it with my toothbrush, but the improvement was minimal. I heard of tongue scrapers so I hopped on amazon to see what was available. What I found was a ton of options...tongue scrapers and brushes, specialty tongue cleaning liquids. I went with this product because it is both a brush and scraper. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. It has made a huge difference in my oral health (well I'm not sure about health, but at least in appearance and feel). I was really excited to use this scraper once it arrived. I admit I was a little disappointed after my first use because my tongue didn't immediately become pink. However, after a few days of rigorous tongue scraping/brushing that is exactly what happened! My tongue is now a pretty pinky red. In addition, the taste inside my mouth is much better (and by better I mean, outside of eating, it doesn't really taste like anything). My mouth just has a generally better feel to it...it's difficult to describe. I wouldn't say I used to go around with a bad taste in my mouth (thank god) it just feels/tastes cleaner now. You'd be amazed at how dirty a tongue really can be...I don't want to be gross, but I want to describe it just a bit. So, I drink coffee every morning, then I shower and brush my teeth...after brushing is when I use the tongue scraper...despite just having brush my teeth and rinsed my mouth, the scraper removes coffee colored residue from my tongue (it generally takes a few passes over my tongue until the saliva being scraped from my tongue is clear). Just think, all those years I thought that my mouth was clean because I brushed my teeth, when in actuality, gross coffee (or whatever else I eat/drink) was still clinging to my tongue. Now I'm freaking out...did I have bad breath??!? No one ever said as much, but then would someone really say something...I mean, I would never tell anyone (other than a really close friend or family member) that their breath was bad. I think that grime probably builds up on our tongue over time, that is probably why it took me a couple days to get my tongue back to being pretty pink. But this also has its advantages...once your tongue is clean, it wont become all gross overnight if you forget to use your scraper. I went on a vacation and forgot that I don't have a scraper in my travel kit, I was disappointed, but noticed that my tongue stayed a nice pink throughout the week I was gone...the white film didn't return overnight as I worried it would (I was brushing my tongue with my toothbrush). In conclusion: this tongue scraper has become a permanent staple of my oral hygiene routine. Using this tongue scraper will give you much more confidence...it will have you mouth looking, feeling (and likely smelling) cleaner in no time.

Get that gunk GONE!

This is awesome. My tongue actually stays clean between brushings, unlike when I use my toothbrush to clean my tongue. Also, this is stiffer, and gets my tongue cleaner. I scrub it with the brush side first, then use use the scraper to get the rest of the gunk off. I really want a stainless steel scraper, but I think I would like this one better still. I can actually scrub my tongue with this one, and if I purchased the SS one with just a scraper, I don't think I could get all that gunk off like I do currently.

Clean fresh tongue and breath

My dentist gave me one of these Gum tongue cleaners after I complained about how hard it was to get my tongue feeling clean despite brushing it with a toothbrush. What a difference this tongue cleaner made! I use it every time I brush my teeth. I use a regular toothbrush on my teeth, then scrape this over my tongue a few times. (I prefer the plastic side to the brush side.) My mouth feels clean and fresh and I’m ready to go! Would definitely recommend.

INSTANTLY resets your taste buds and eliminates bad breath

The very first time I ever used a tongue scraper, it was like all of a sudden I was bestowed with a brand new mouth and new taste buds. Seriously, you really don't know just how much your TASTE is affected by all the bacteria that collect on the surface of your tongue during the day or overnight. And by the way, you really cannot clean your tongue with a toothbrush, it just doesn't do the same thing as this particular tool -- at all. I keep one of these at home and one with me whenever I go out, in case my mouth feels gross. I wish they had a fold-up travel version!!!

How did I live without this before???

This is one of those tools that you don't know you need until you actually use one. Do yourself a favor and go to the store and buy a cheap tongue scraper. Then once you can't do without this tool, then go to Amazon and buy this. I have never used a tongue scraper until my sister introduced me to it. Why would I need one when I use my toothbrush to scrape my tongue, right? Using this tool gets so much grime and grossness out of your mouth and tongue that you didn't even know you had. Your mouth won't feel clean until after you've used it, period.

My favorite product

This is my favorite tongue scrapper! I have one for each person in my home. This is the product I always reorder and have used for several years now. I tried to order a less expensive product that came in more colors for different family members to tell their’s apart but the product did not even come close to the design, quality, or efficiency. I threw them all out and orders more of this one! I love this product! Love how it helps with fresh breath and that I can literally scrape my tongue and rinse all those mouth germs down the drain! I use it once to twice a day and it helps keep plaque from building up on my teeth as quickly between brushings.

THE BEST- NO STINKY BREATH

So I have severe vomiting during my pregnancy and needed to address my oral hygiene. This became part of my tool set to address what was going on in my mouth... I vomited at least 15 times a day at one time. I love this product! It's not abrasive to cause damage to your tongue but strong enough to scrape out whatever film you have. Unless you have really bad cavities or so bad breath is really from the layer on your tongue so scraping that out will certainly make a difference. There is also a side with a fine brush but it doesn't matter to me...the hard part is what does the trick. I love it!

Best Tongue Cleaner I've Tried

This tongue scraper is easier to use and gets more done with each stroke compared to other tongue scrapers I've tried. The addition of the brush makes it easy to use toothpaste to help clean the tongue, and the scraper's dual edge collects and holds scrapings for rinsing where other scrapers tend to drip and make a mess.

IT WORKS! IT WORKS!!

This little tool is so friggin' amazing, I couldn't believe it! When it arrived to my house, I rushed to my bathroom to try it out. I put in a dot of toothpaste on my tongue, run water over the tongue cleaner, and went straight to work. The "claw" side of it REALLY scratched all the nasty white gunk out of my tongue, it was so disgusting seeing it in action, but at the same time it strangely satisfied me seeing all of it finally coming out of my tongue. I kept at it for a minute or so, and then use the soft brush side to brush. I rinse my mouth, stick out my tongue, and OMG- 95% of the white stuff? GONE. GONE GONE GONE! I was so shocked and amazed! I do need to practice on getting it all the way to the back (it's still a bit white back there), but otherwise? My tongue is soft, healthy, clean, and beautifully red... just the way nature intended it to be! I'm going to order a few more for my family now. :) Remember: Your bad breath doesn't come from your teeth, the insides of your cheeks or even your gums- It's that NASTY white stuff on your tongue that's causing all the trouble! So put that monster in place with this tool!

Amazing!

Got this for my 3.5 year old. She had quite the build up on her tongue every morning. We tried brushing it but she would always complain and we would have to keep trying to get out all out. After trying this, 2-3 brushes on the tongue got almost all of it out! Her breathe is much better, even until the best morning!
