What can you say. It's a beard trimmer. It trims beards. Works as expected. ***UPDATE*** 6+ months later, still trims beards just fine! Battery life is impressive. I shave with no guard once a week, it gets plugged in maybe every 6 weeks. I use the number 3 guard for my eye brows, then shape them with no guard. I use no guard on my ears too. Yes, ears. Wait until you're an old man son - you too, will shave your ears. And eye brows. At least, you should!! Don't be that gross old man with unkempt hair sprouting from all your facial orifices!! ***UPDATE*** A year old now, and still work great. Keeping it clean, oiled, and charging only when needed, taking care not to just leave it plugging in and overcharging all the time, I suspect this trimmer will be around at least a couple more years. For the price, I would still be pleased even if it died today!

My old college roommate had one... I saw him use this for several years and keep working like a magic wand. This guys even cut other peoples hair with this (remember this was college, everybody was just trying to save money)... I keep fighting him on this and purchase several other hair trimmers thinking they were better... they all kept getting damaged with either the battery or whatever part was needed for trimming sizing. I finally decided to purchase this one, like my college roommate... and let me tell you I have saved a lot of time with the extended battery, this goes long ways and is very small... shaving adds some edge to the new coming hair as well as hardens it, and definitely having a hair trimmer makes the job much easier...

This trimmer won't let you down. After almost 2 years it has kept up with me and still works just as is it used to when I first got it. It charges very quickly, but it does not let you know when it is done charging. I have left it charging for a few hours, 6 hours maximum (accidentally) but the red light remained lit. For me personally, it is used about 2 maybe 3 times a week and 3-4 hours of charging lasts me about a month or so until I have to charge it again. If you want to skip the charging process though you can use it with the chord, giving the trimmer its full potential. One slight down side is the adjustable clip that is included. Not only is it a little difficult to apply, but if you're not careful and apply a little too much pressure to whatever you're trimming, the clip will go down a size or possibly even a few sizes. Pros: - Doesn't tug or pull hairs - Charges quickly for a long period of usage - Brush that is included makes it easy to swipe away the hairs from the trimmer Cons: - Adjustable clip is pretty easy which can cause a shorter trim where not needed Overall, this trimmer has been great and I look forward to continue using it for a longer period of time. Although the price has gone up since when I first purchased it, I still think it is worth the current price.

I purchased this to replace an identical one that was several years old and had lost its ability to hold a charge- it still worked, it just had to be plugged in. For normal at home use this may not have been a problem for others, but with the design of my bathroom it was inconvenient. These feel exactly the same as the old clippers, apart from the guards being slightly different. I prefer the old guards personally, but the new ones work just as well. I imagine there will be plenty of years of use ahead for this product. In this price range, I think this is the ideal clipper.

Motor has plenty of power. Attachments click on/off easily. The "stand" is a joke - - but I keep my whole kit in a dresser drawer anyway. This is my second one of these. The fist is still functioning well when plugged in - but its battery doesn't seem to hold a charge any more. MEH!!

I've had this trimmer for as long as I can remember. I used to go get my beard done at a barber shop but realized I could do it myself at home due to a busy work schedule. Pros: 1. Comes with a variety of attachments 2. You get a small dropper bottle of oil for maintenance 3. Comes with a small brush as well to keep it clean 4. Gives a really nice close trim. I use it with the 0 setting attachment for a nice trim 5. The cable is long enough so if you plug it in, you can move around a bit for better positioning in front of a mirror 6. I leave it for a day of charging and it lasts me a good 3-4 full trim sessions along with some smaller touch-up/quickies 7. Easy to use 8. Good grip in hand so you don't drop it 9. Ergonomically good. Doesn't feel like you're holding a brick in hand 10. Comes with its own black zip-up carry bag Con: 1. The only Con I can think of is that it's loud once you hit the sideburns area. Overall, it's a great handy little trimmer that I've been using. I have 3 of these actually!

I'd like to start off by saying this is my first beard trimmer, so I don't have a great idea on how well it performs versus others. But what I can say is that if you're solely looking to completely shave off a beard, look no further. This thing tackles hair like a law mower, almost never snags, and can pretty much allow you to avoid razors all together. There are some negatives though however. The attachments, are junk, they just don't work, and this trimmer just doesn't do stubble. If you're looking for a trimmer for stubble, just avoid this one, part of the reason I ordered another trimmer just for stubble. Otherwise, for $15, it's an amazing deal, and heck they even threw in a little cheap stand with it too, which is appreciated for the price. Also, this works great for body hair, tested and approved.

I was very surprised by the high quality of this trimmer. The low price made me think it would be a cheap plastic thing, but it's quite solid and heavy, and it felt like something a professional hair stylist or barber would use. But do read the instructions. It comes with several plastic attachments, and none of them really seemed right for the whisker length that I wanted. I read the instructions more carefully, and it turns out that one of the plastic attachments is itself adjustable, although in a very subtle way that isn't at all obvious from simply looking at it. So I was able to get the desired trim length quite precisely after all. Also, it comes with a small red plastic tab-like thing sticking out of the on-off switch. Looks like it was inserted to prevent the trimmer from turning on while in delivery (it came fully charged), but I was greatly puzzled by this little red thing for a long time. I finally gave up reading the instructions and simply got a pair of pliers and ripped it out. Anyway, I used the trimmer and got a super professional trim on my beard, felt just like I had come from the barber. The results were so nice that I may actually keep my beard now because I can make it look neat and trim whenever I want. (I had grown it temporarily to let a skin injury heal.) Highly recommend this product.

I got this Wahl Bear Trimmer for Christmas (Thanks Honey!), and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. I have been using my cheap Conair hair trimmers as a beard trimmer for years and it worked good enough for me not to buy one of these my self. Well, I wish I would have invested in one of these earlier, as these trimmers make keeping a "crisp" beard as easy as could be. First of all, I noticed the size factor; it is compact and the head of the unit is able to get an even trim on your entire beard, even the tough to get areas around the jawline. This is common among beard trimmers, but this one feels great in your hand, and has a nice rubber grip to boot. But don't let the size fool you though, I turned on the trimmer and was amazed by the power; this is the little trimmer that could. After my initial trim, I must say that it does an excellent job, and seems sharp and is definitely efficient. The various length attachments are great as I vary my beard length depending on many factors, weather/special occasions/laziness, etc. There are three dedicated length attachments, as well as one that has 6 different length settings for getting that perfect length dialed in. It's great because it is corded or cordless; you forget to charge it, no biggie, just plug it in. You run out of battery half-shave in? No problem! Plug that sucker in and get that crispy beard you long for. The little stand/accessory holder is neat too, as it keeps everything nice and handy. Overall, Wahl, I must say, you've done it again. It is small, powerful, sleek, and most of all, easy to use and I have no complaints whatsoever. I would be confident recommending this to my pastor, the guy that changes my oil, or the lady at wal-mart with the sideburns. This is sure to please them all.

I am very happy with this trimmer, the great price, the brand, the brush the comb, the shape, the soft grip, the length of time it holds a charge and to atop it off its has 3 yrs warrentee.. I have not experience the other parts falling off as other have said they have. I also use this for my side burns and cleaning off the back of my neck in between hair cuts. I uses this along with mustache shears for very fine trimming in extra small areas, and ear and nose hairs... lol . I also have another mustache comb that came with my mustache shears, but I love using the comb that came with this trimmer its much better than the one I got with my mustache shears, it doesn't pull and it cleans out much better than the other comb. I found the charging holder takes a little getting used to setting it up (it is a little on the light side), but I don't leave the charger set up and waiting for me to use it. I only set it up when it needed a charging. Yes the pouch is a cheaply made of plastic, but it serves its purpose. Also, If the pouch ever does come apart, you can easily use a zip lock bag instead. Also my experience with wahl is that the cutting blade stays sharp for a very very long time. I would recommend this trimmer to a friend. I hope this has been helpful to you all.
