- Glue goes on smoothly, minimizing any clumping or wrinkling
- White glue bonds properly to a variety of surfaces; paper, photos, cardboard, foam board, fabric, glass and more
- Strong and permanent adhesive, but washes easily off hands and clothing
- Safe for children; glue sticks are nontoxic, acid free, ACMI certified and conform to ASTM D 4236
- Large glue stick covers more surface area; an excellent choice for school projects and arts & crafts that require more glue

5 stars bc they are ridiculously cheap
I mean, come on, 6 glue sticks for the price of postage? That's insane. Though now I'm not sure what I'm going to do with 6 glue sticks. I guess I'd better come up with some craft ideas that will burn through these things, as who really needs more than 1-2 gluesticks in the house unless your kid likes to eat paste or you're an elementary school teacher. Some reviewer said the kids she taught had a hard time with the lids. Another complained that the glue doesn't stick. My thoughts are (a) if these kids who don't know how to use a glue stick are older than 3, then it's not the glue stick that is the issue, and (b) since when did glue sticks stick for longer than a week or 2 and why would anyone use them to bond anything for permanence? I can't remember the last time I used a glue stick and was surprised when the thing paper I used it on fell off at some point. If you're looking for permanent adhesion in a glue stick perhaps you should also look for permanence in a washable marker.

My favorite brand
I go through these sticks relatively fast, but they are great for crafts and I always use them for scrapbooking. They stay moist as long as you remember to keep them capped and the glue is extremely adhesive once it dries. I have been using this brand for ages, and have never been disappointed yet!

3D Printing Bed Adhesion
I use this glue for helping to adhere to the first layer of extruded filament with my 3D printer, and it works great. It is easy to apply and can last several prints without having to reapply. The filament easily sticks to the glue no problem, and the 3D printed parts have a great bottom layer finish when removed. When I do need to clean the glue off my glass build plate, I just rinse it under some hot water, and it washes off no problem. Highly recommend for 3D printing bed adhesion.

nThis is way better than the dollar tree glue
This package came right on time with no issues. It was packaged with a few other things I had ordered. The price was worth it for me. I have never really boughten glue. I have always just snag it from my mother's house or my little sister. She is now 13 and doesn't require glue for school. So I had to actually go buy glue.nThis is way better than the dollar tree glue. That is where I went first. My pages were coming out within the next day. This glue, on the other hand works great. No issues with things falling out yet,

Lots of sticks!!!
I purchased these Avery Glue Sticks because they looked amazing. I have bought similar products before and have never been satisfied. I am so pleased with this purchase I made because the product exceeded my expectations. It performs very well and is constructed with quality materials. I will be definitely buying more in the future and will also recommend friends and family to buy this product. It has only been a few days since I use it but so far I do not have any complaints. The product was also very well packaged which protected it from shipping and handling damages.

Does the Job
GENERAL Fresh Avery Glue Sticks work beautifully, transfering a thin even layer of glue to paper. Even thin paper doesn't wrinkle. FOR BEST RESULTS KEEP THEM FRESH However, the glue sticks do dry out (even with the caps on), and then the glue does not spead in an thin even layer. I store my "virgin" sticks in a ziplock bag. I keep my "current" stick in an reused "spice bottle" (a prescription medicine bottles would also work) which is only a little larger than the glue stick itself. In most cases, these smaller glue sticks are a better choice than the big glue sticks because your supply will stay fresher longer (assuming that unused sticks are stored in a plastic bag or bottle). But if you have a big project, the big sticks may be better for you Avery Clear Application Permanent Glue Sticks, 1.27 oz, 6 per Pack (98073) FOR SHIPPING LABELS I use the glue sticks to convert ordinary laser-printer paper to shipping labels. Self-adhesive shipping labels are expensive, at least 25 cents each---so, I use ordinary paper and attach it with the glue-stick glue, and then cover with a transparent shipping tape to protect the label.

Holds various paper products well in our industrial environment.
We use this in our business (not for crafting or scrapbooking), but for industrial drawings to glue revisions on when needed quickly and easily. We find these to be a must have, and buying them in bulk packs like this is really nice. Means we can scatter them around the shop without always having to hunt for one. The glue itself seems of good quality, the tube is a good size and 'holds' various paper/cardboard/tagboard stock plenty well for our use. Have and will order again.

Very Good Product
These are my favorite glue, "stick" or otherwise. I use them constantly for everything from sealing envelopes to gluing colored-in pictures onto blank notecards to creating montage "art" pictures. The glue holds things permanently but, in the case of montage or of a mistake, you can lift the picture or open the envelope if you do so immediately, before the glues "sets," which is sometimes a "must" for me.

Great price through the add-on items... saved a lot vs. in store prices
As a mother of a kindergartner that had to purchase 36 glue sticks for back to school... I am so happy that these were part of the 'add on' program! They ended up being better quality glue for lower prices than in the store. And then I even got the packs that had the bonus +2 sticks in them so I got 8 glue sticks for $2.04! Thank you Amazon!

A great way to attach labels to bottles of home brew...
My use for these is a bit unorthodox. I am a home brewer. When I finish a batch of beer, I take a few minutes to create a label for it on my computer and print it out. I cut the labels out, then use these Glue Stics to affix them to the bottles. That makes for a nicer presentation. The glue stays stuck even if the bottle gets a little wet, but when the bottle's empty and I'm ready to re-use it, I'll soak it in some hot water in my sink. The water penetrates the paper and the label wipes off. A quick scrub with a kitchen sponge and the bottle's de-labeled. Between the low price of these sticks and the fact that I can print about a dozen labels per page, I end up with nicely labeled bottles of beer without a lot of expense and hassle.
