I recently got a small riding mower, that I wanted to store in my shed. However the shed sits about 10" off the ground. I was not thrilled with the idea of spending $125+ for some of the narrow metal ramps out there. These are a great solution, that results in having very sturdy ramps, that are plenty wide, and at a great price. I paired these with 2x12x4ft boards I found in the culled lumber pile (huge discount versus buying full lumber boards), at the "orange and white" big box hardware store (Actually one board was a few inches longer than 4 feet, so I cut it to match the other board). Now I have a very sturdy ramps, which are much wider than the metal options, and my total cost is about $25. Please note, the description says these are aluminum, but they are actually steel. So they are bit heavier than some other options out there. However, my boards are 2x12x4ft, and they are easy to put in and place and pick up after use, so the added weight shouldn't be a problem. Because they are steel, I expect they're probably much stronger than the more expensive aluminum options. I paired these with 2x12 boards, rather than 2x6, 2x8, or 2x10, to make it much easier to line up the mower, and not have to worry about slipping off a narrower ramp. I'm very pleased with these brackets, and my new ramps.

These work perfectly for getting the lawnmower in and out of the truck. One of the little pins that hold it to the truck immediately was lost. But I don’t need them for the mower. Would be useful for something heavier or if I wanted to walk up the ramp. But another pin or screw will substitute. I used a pressure treated 2x8 for one. It is very sturdy, though a bit heavy (I am a 60 year old woman). I used a pt 2x6 for the second ramp cuz that’s what I had. It’s too bendy for me to want to walk up, but is fine for my mower.

Oh My God!, these things are fantastic.. I have a pick up truck, and a riding mower and motorcycle that I constantly load/unload.. I didn't want to pay the 200 bucks it cost for decent ramps, So I purchased 2 2x10's that are about 12 feet long i think.. I've been using these to load and unload onto my truck and a trailer I borrowed from my mom, but eventually gave back, so mostly my truck.. man, it SUCKED.. going up into the truck there is a lip at the end, from laying it on the tail gate, so basically, a drop off.. which wasn't horrible loading, but un-loading, man.. the wheels kept pushing the boards off, and also, the deck on the mower would catch on the lip of the board.. HORRIBLE... I bought these and put them on.. and it makes everything flush on the tail gate.. after I installed them on the boards, I put them on the tail gate, pulled the mower up on the truck, and then backed it down off the truck, all by myself, without anyone holding the boards.. WORKED FANTASTIC... why did I not buy these things sooner?!?!?! I won't make that mistake again.. love these things, and I'm sure you will too.

Metal ramp ends are sturdy and come with needed bolts and nuts. User provides the plank. I used a 10' Southern Pine 2 x 8. The 5' ramp sections are the right length for my trailer. and the rack I built under my trailer to transport them on.

I INSTALLED THEM ON 2X6'S, BUT I RECOMMEND USING 2X8'S. ONLY PROBLEM WITH 2X8'S IS THE WEIGHT. THESE THINGS ARE STEEL NOT ALUMINIUM LIKE THE PICTURE SHOWS

Installed these on existing ramps . Makes loading my ATV much safer and easier. Can’t beat this product for the money. Eliminates the need for expensive aluminum ramps.

I cut an angle with a circular saw to make them fit better. I used 10ft 2x12s and it holds up a 17hp lawn tractor style mower without giving me any concerns.

Excellent product. Highly recommended. Fit perfectly with 2x8 boards, 4.5 feet long. Using for shed.

I'm using these with some left over 2x6's to load ATV's into a new shed that sits above grade. I find them quicker to use than my aluminum ramps that are bulky and need to be unfolded. The ramps were quick to assemble and more heavy duty than I expected. I like the pin that you can use to secure the ramps to the surface you're loading up to.

2 2X4s and these ramp ends makes a solid ramp for loading bicycle in truck bed.
