Great pole and works well with the brushes and curved extension. Strong for the application and the extend buttons are a tryed and true system. Lots better than the twist collars on the carwash brush. Pole is light weight aluminum and could be easy to bend if mishandled. The hand grips are great and located in the correct position. Read my reviews on the brush and extension. To perhaps improve this pole, Shurhold could look into extending the pole from the bottom, rather from the top. As I used the pole, I found myself having to pickup the brush and pull for extension. In tight places found myself wishing I could extend by the bottom.

Read the description carefully. It is a handle only.

It takes a couple of readings but one must purchase the handle AND then the mop or whatever as two separate pieces. I like all the variety of other pieces that can be attached to this handle. I like that it is adjustable and can be used by an adult or adjusted down for a smaller person to use. I purchased the nylon mop head to go with this handle. I have no regrets for this purchase and I have dumped quite a few other trial and mostly error mops and sticks. This is a keeper for me!

Very sturdy.

A bit heavy because of how sturdy it is. You could probably hit someone pretty hard with this and it wouldn't bend or break. Don't do that. An observation, which doesn't affect the product's intention. But is good to know depending on what you plan to do with it. There's a little bar near the handle that prevents the telescoping portion from going too far in. Generally a good thing, but I bought this with the intention of running a wire through it with a camera mounted at the tip. That bar means I have to run the camera wire along the outside of the shaft. It's not meant for that, which is why I didn't detract from the product rating. But good to know if you're thinking of getting it for something similar.

Top-Quality

I've used Shurhold on my boat for over a decade, strong and holds up well. Works so well that I bought duplicates to wash my truck and cars (easily 3X-faster cleaning my truck versus using a sponge). The only Shurhold attachment I've ever broken and had to replace is my boat-hook, because the plastic sat in my windshield for over a decade. I still have/use my original handle and brushes. Top-quality, regardless of price.

This is great for cleaning your boat!

I love this handle! I have been using wooden screw on type brushes for cleaning boats for years, always having to worry about the brush twisting off, or having the threads wear away. I have only had this handle a few months but bought it because I know many professional detailers that use this product and swear by it. There are many attachments you can get for cleaning/detailing and around the boat and home. I highly recommend.

Have owned many, superior product

As I mentioned, I have owned many of these. The only reason I have owned many is because people will steal them because of the high quality and price. If yours doesn't get stolen, it will last you the life of your boat or even many years longer. I have never had to replace one because it was defective. 5 Stars, every day, all day, all the time.

A little expensive but you got to HAVE it if you are cleaning a boat. Quality is worth the price.

I’m a new boat owner and learned the hard way of cleaning the boat after being on salt water using cheap brushes and mops...etc. You HAVE to have an adjustable and telescopic handle like this. It is worth the price and will cut the time in half, especially under the boat. And it allows you to store it easily. I really didn’t want to spend the money, but I’m glad I did!

Useful household tool

Needed this to attach to other products that we use to reach high places to clean in the garage, our vehicle/truck and ceiling fans. Handy to have around the house.

Handle is sturdy.

I love this mop handle but need to buy a smaller rayon mop head for household use. This is a great product for mopping hardwood floors. Please tell me they make an 8 oz. mop head for this handle.

Solid pole, nice & shiny!

We bought the long pole to use with the Hook-knife for clearing stuff off the prop. This is a substantial, rugged pole! Warning, it doesn't get very small when collapsed, so you may have to search out a place to keep it.
