The updates to the folding mechanism clip are a huge improvement for my kids from the older version. I no longer have to unfold it for them because the clip is too hard to move. The break guard is a blessing and a curse: it helps if a child can balance to use the break well, but for a child still learning it gets in the way a bit.

My 20 year old daughter bought this to cruise around college campus. She loves the grips because they provide cushion and do not get cold in the Utah weather. It folds up nice and small that she is able to fold it and put it in her backpack. It saves her 35 minutes of walking each day leaving more time to sleep and study. Smooth ride and easy to stop.

I got this scooter for my son when he turned 6 years old. He loved it and it's so easy to use. It wasn't to difficult to finish putting together and it's so simple for him to use. He loves this better than his bike. I would recommend this to any children around 5+ who wants a scooter.

This is a great scooter. My 9 year old loves it and rides is almost daily. You have to pop the handles into place once you get it out of the box, but there's no other assembly required. It folds and unfolds pretty easily. It was a birthday gift for my son; he needed a replacement for his old one. I recommend this for anyone who has a young boy that would have fun riding around on it. It's great.

Razor is the cool manufacturer of scooters known by nearly all serious scooter "people". It's easy to see why it's made of a light weight strong aluminum frame not the cheap wood scooters, can fold up securely, has a foot brake in the rear which when pressed slowly will work just fine, if slammed down on your child better have pads and a helmet, which they should anyway. It can do wheelies but I haven't shown my 5 year old the trick but there is a wheelie extension in the rear. My 5 yr. old loves it, really sharp looking. Really nothing to assemble just unfold, hardest thing for us as parents is to get her to wear her protective gear. 5 stars easy

It is better than the new electric scooters because the rider must use leg muscles to propel it. This provides much needed exercise in this age of tablets, cell phones, couch potatoes, etc.

This is for my niece for her upcoming birthday. I just know she’ll love it; I used to have one as well and I know they are a lot of fun! Thank you, this is going to be wonderful as a gift for her! She is going to ride it everywhere, school, and around the house.

Great product. We purchased three of these Razor A2 Kick Scooters. We also own three other models of razor scooters. The age range of our kids that utilize these is age 6 through age 15. They all really enjoy the product. They all like this new version over the previous versions we have. They agree the wheels allow for more speed, a smoother ride, and a better ability to control and maneuver the scooter.

Bought it for our daughter (age 5 ~ 44") because she had one back in Europe, we wanted similar and a friend recommended Razor. I decided to go with the A2 because it has this hit-absorption part, but keep in mind that this version has no leg-stand. With that it mind we bought the purple one and its a perfect match for our daughter's desire. She cruises the streets like a real pro, the frame looks sturdy enough but still light to carry (also its really easy to fold). The handle bar is high enough, from the looks this will be a good size for at least 2 more years. We are really happy with the A2 scooter from Razor!

Our old razor bit the dust and my always on the go 8 year old needed a new one asap. Not only was the price budget friendly but the color looks super cool( we got it in cherry red) and it arrived so quickly. There was also very minimal assembly, all we had to do was lock in the handles and adjust the height. That's it! If you're a New Yorker like myself, you need a product that can withstand a city street and this one is perfect. Well played, Amazon.
