Rule of thumb folks, if you have ANY place where the outside air can get in, the insects will find that place also. In my opinion, GE Silicone II Clear Caulk lasts and will most definitely work better then most Caulks. It dries to a "cloudy-clear" and remember...it cannot be painted or stained once applied. Excellent Caulking! You have cracks around your home, fill them as the Caulking will more then pay for it's self. 5 Stars and no less here.

This stuff is AMAZING! For novice like me, just follow the instructions to get a semi-professional to professional finish. It dries on smooth and clear. Has a solid hold. I have used this to weather proof doors and windows. As well as to seal toilets, sinks, and tub bases. Love this stuff! Best caulk ever!!!

My shower installation did not go according to plan, and I used several different types of caulk, all of which did not hold up to the water. I came across this, thankfully, and redid the shower once again. It was shower ready by the next morning, still holding strong after months of use, still white. I am so happy I found this, and this will be my go to caulk from now on.

I used this to seal the brick/concrete interface on my outdoor stairs. I used backing rod to fill the 1/2" gap. This stuff flowed evenly and dried a bit cloudy. I expect it to last several years. 100% silicone sealant can be very expensive at your local hw store, and many don't even carry the real thing. I like the bulk price of this caulk and expect to use it down the road for other projects.

There are a few things in life you shouldn't skimp on; - Toilet Paper - Dental Work - Safety Equipment - Caulk Time will tell if it really holds up for 10 years, but I'd trust GE Advanced Silicon much more than store-brand. If you're trying to protect your home from the elements, spend a little extra and think of it as insurance.

I bought one tube of this silicon in Home Depot and the project extended up requiring more than one. Ordered two more on Amazon and what arrived was exactly the same as the one purchased in-store. I used this to seal cracks in a cinderblock foundation and cement floor in an unfinished basement with no heating/cooling. The product adhered well and looks like it should hold up well over time. The color is stated is light grey, and it is VERY light grey. In a basement the aesthetic doesn't matter much, but if you're using it elsewhere it might be worth noting.

Just what I was looking for to repair my frog tank. My vivarium has a variety of artificial plants & vines that can be removed for cleaning. Unfortunately, this means re-adhering them each time. This brown waterproof silicon will do the trick nicely.

Excellent bonding for glass on glass. I am using this on outdoor garden decor and it seems to adhere very well and withstand the weather.

This is great stuff. Spend the money for good caulk! I cheaped out the first time I bought silicone. It cracked and discolored within a year. This stuff works so much better and looks great. Be advised it does cloud slightly when it dries, don't expect it to be crystal clear.

I used this on some car window weatherstripping. Its covering some cracks and helping the glass seal to the old rubber. The silicone went on smooth, remained stuck, and held up to its first rain storm like a champ.
