From Ohio and Biased

My husband loves these glasses. The pint beer glass did not hold up to his desire for tall iced tea and iced coffee. These are perfect! Of course, I was raised in Ohio and remember going to Lancaster to the Libbey outlet store. Always a joy and never disappointed. I still have many pieces inherited from my Grandmother! If you drop the glass, it will most likely break! But the shape of this glass helps me grasp it even if wet. Do I sound that biased?

Perfect Iced Tea Glass

I've used these glasses for many years. They are not too heavy, but very sturdy. Perfect size for iced tea or any other drink. I also have the 12 oz for those that want a smaller amount.

They weigh a ton

I gave this five stars only because this is a well made product. However, they are much bigger than I realized when I ordered them. I mean HUGE! They would be perfect for hulked-up body builders and lumber jacks. Otherwise, you’re out of luck in lifting them. Sorry to say they are going back.

Top Notch Quality

These are excellent, restaurant quality glasses. You will not find this quality in retail store glasses. I have used these for years and they last, and are resilient to breakage.

Fantastic, heavy glasses for everyday use.

It was time to replace our glasses. Too many partial pieces. After a lot of looking, we decided on Libby. We appreciate American Made, and thought about the glasses we enjoyed most when dining out. These are great glasses. Heavy, but sturdy. They do take up a bit more room in the dishwasher than our past sets, but they still fit well. We don't like using Jet Wash in our dishwasher (... more chemicals in our food please!). Yet these glasses have come out crystal clean with just light rinsing and regular washing. They have been used for juices, coffee, etc. and to date have not stained. They also make iced tea a pleasure. We are very pleased and plan to order smaller glasses as well.

I've had these for years and needed more!

Was a problem getting them here but that had nothing to do with the glasses themselves (it was Amazon, I haven't been getting anything within the Prime 2 days anymore). But these glasses are exactly what I was looking for. They are heavy enough not to be broken easily and are big enough that you don't have to get a refill every 5 minutes. Perfect iced tea glasses!

Heavy, Restaurant Quality Glassware!

We bought this after eating out at our favorite restaurant, which uses these glasses. We could not be happier with this glassware. It has good weight to it, it holds a lot of liquid, which me and you have to refill less often, and there is plenty of room for ice! I dropped one when i was unpacking, It did not break, which shows it is very durable. It has a nice solid base, which makes it very stable. Furthermore, the very bottom is mostly shaped so water from the dishwasher drains, eliminating that white crust from collected detergent. These might be too heavy for some, but i would prefer a heavy, stable glass over the plastic ones any day. I will not hesitate to buy another Libbey product. Also, for those that say these glasses are the same as the ones at walmart....In my experience, this is not exactly true! We have a couple of them, the symbol on the bottom of the glass is different, the feel and weight is different, and they scratch easier than these. Caveat Emptor...you get what you pay for.

Great Everyday Glassware

I purchased these glasses years ago, well one thing after the other of everyday life and only 3 left !! So I ordered a new set and I was not one bit disappointed in my order. These are well made and we like a larger glass and I put these in the dishwasher and come out sparkling !! Smoothies we drink every single day and not one time a stain !! I am so happy I found these once again and will enjoy hopefully for more years to come just like the last set. My last set was bought 6 yrs ago, cant ask anymore than that, and if not for ME being clumsy, would of never needed to be replaced. Love it !!

My husband loves these glasses

I bought 4 of these at Wal-Mart about 20 years ago. We had two left and my husband wanted me to order some more. I found these on Amazon and they are identical to the ones I bought 20 years ago. He absolutely loves them. He won't drink out of anything else. They are sturdy, good-looking, and great for holding enough iced tea to last a while. So glad I found them here at such a reasonable price.

Large Enough To Easily Accommodate a Person's Summer Thirst

Received a well packaged, undamaged, set fo glasses. Large, appearing, well designed. With a taper toward the bottom that can be easily handled. Not average sized. Just a bit larger than most. Made from what appears to be heavy durable glass. Similar to smaller ones, I believe, Ive used in restaurants before. Very pleased with product. Couldn't grade durability due to just receiving product.
