Blade Ruiner Likes Bosch
Nothing glamorous about Bosch's blades. They work like they're supposed to and nobody makes them as good. The hook tip on the wood cutting blades for making entry cuts is a big plus in my work. I always look for the bigger assortments so the price per blade is the lowest because my nickname is Blade Ruiner; I put them through tough situations and lose a lot. BTW, my Bosch barrel handle jig saw is 20 years old and refuses to die, even after a long pro career. It still uses the long skinny screwdriver to change blades, unlike the new ones with the quick release for blade changes.

simply because these are the best. The T-shank fitting is very positive
A neat set, and well-organized on a reusable card. These are very high-quality blades, and other users have told me that they are preferred not only by owners of Bosch equipment, but also on other brands, simply because these are the best. The T-shank fitting is very positive, which helps guarantee a very accurate cut. There is nothing worse than a floppy blade! So far, I am extremely happy with these.

Only jig saw blade to buy!
If you do a little research you will find that people who do a lot of woodworking and use jig saws regularly are well aware of the CLEAR superiority of Bosch jig saw blades. Buy a cheap jig saw if your budget is very limited but then buy THESE blades for it. If there are better jig saw blades available I've not heard what they are or where they come from. Trust me.....you will be astounded when you watch one of these blades go through an oak board!!

Best...simply the best
I have used cheapo jig saw blades for years and years, and I hve NEVER been satisfied with how a jig saw cuts. Always beveled cuts, never straight lines. I ALWAYS blamed it on operator error. Well recently my 15 year old jig saw fell apart (the abs housing gave way and the shoe plate fell off. My wife treated me to a new saw for Fathers Day and told me to order the one I wanted. I went cheap (BD JS660) but decided to order some good blades. Well these are the NUTS. Most Blades will cut wood pretty well, but there are clues as to how well. The most obvious to me is the leading edge of the cut. Cheap blades will have this little curl that leads the cut (not sure what it is called...kerf maybe?). Even a brand new out of the box blase does this (for me at least). Orbital-nonorbital-slow-fast it has always been there, until now. These blades cut AMZINGLY clean. No matter what the setting, no matter what the speed (within reason of course). Beautiful level straight cuts! I have not tried out the metal blades yet but I'm expecting the same great results.

Wood and metal. Make sure you do both or no money saved.
What can I say?...its Bosch! Haven't used them yet but arrived fast and bought during a lightning sale. If you dont do wood and metal both, you won't save money with this set as it is half and half.

Durable, great variety!
This is a great set of blades. As a beginner in woodworking (just weekend diy projects), I bought a pretty cheap jig saw and was very frustrated with it until I realized the problem was the blade that came w the saw. I got this Bosch set and have been very happy with their performance. They’re durable, sturdy, and I like the variety of blades. I don’t need a crazy expensive saw, just some reliable, reasonably priced blades, so thank you!

perfect cut, controllable
I just bought a brand new Ryobi jigsaw (JS481LG) that came with one free blade. Once the cutting starts, the blade would shift to the left and make a diagonal cut, where my intention was to cut straight. I was quite upset, and thought either I got a lemon, or I need to try a different brand. On that same day, these Bosch blades arrived in the mail. Tried them on, and wow, perfect cut, controllable, and smooth. Highly recommend them.

metal pipe and pvc) really do feel I made a great purchase with this
So far very impressed. Ive used one of the metal blades and it has cut through everything Ive put it up against (wood, metal pipe and pvc) really do feel I made a great purchase with this. Also this is a great buy considering what a typical hardware store will charge for just one blade. Will absolutely purchase another set just to have for use down the road.

nice set Bosch makes a different one that is superior (for a price)
Used the ones that were freighted in and they bent and lost sharpness rather quickly. These work so well I can actually stay on the curve without too many swear words. However Bosch makes a variable pitch blade that is truly astounding. I used that one to cut a hole in 2" Sapele which is pretty hard and the finish was great and no chipping on either side of the cut. These will chip a bit in most woods. That is just the way they are. But for the cost, if you are not cutting something where the chipping would be a problem, these are great.

Great assortment of various sizes for all sorts of projects
The Bosch T5002 10-Piece Assorted T-Shank Jig Saw set comes with a great assortment of various sizes for all sorts of projects (2-each of five different sizes). Three of them are ideal for wood (both straight cuts and curved) and two are ideal for metal. Best part and the thing I love is that they're t-shank (easy to insert/remove from my jig saw) and they seem like they're made of a strong, durable material. I have a generic "WorkZone" jig saw (purchased it from Aldi, but it is very similar in design and feature of the Wen jig saw) and this connects with no issues. For the price, this is the perfect starter set!
