Nice smoother... even for buttercream (with a trick)

I use this little smoother to make my buttercream perfectly smooth. Once I smooth with a spatula and a smoother I use this with a VIVA paper towel (must be VIVA because it doesn't have a texture) and finish smoothing with this over the paper towel. It results in an absolutely beautiful smooth cake.

Works

Now these is really good for you know cakes and whatnot. Please and I mean this do not try to use this on say wallpaper or I don't know patching your driveway. This is not the right tool for you!

A must for fondant decorators

This is one of the best tools you can have if you are working with fondant. It smooths the fondant so nicely and presses out air bubbles that lie between the cake and fondant. You can smooth the fondant into sharp corners around your cake edge, and press the edge of the smoother against the fondant to create a line to trim the fondant. It's such a simple tool, but so necessary for that crisp, professional look.

This product is simple and easy to use. There may be other ways to smooth fondant, but for the right price, this works great. It's big enough to use and small enough to store. The smoother is easy to clean and has stayed scratch free so far.
