Full kit install with springs, good quality affordable product!
Installed on a 2010 GMC 2500HD. Installed full kit along with Air Lift on board compressor and gauges. To start of with this seems to be a great product. Just installed it today. This is a long review but hopefully it will help the next person. Do not try to install this if you are a beginner DIY mechanic. I am by no means a professional but I have installed 100's of snow plows, spreaders, and de-icer systems so I do have plenty of experience with after market accessories. I would try this unless you're at least an intermediate mechanic, even if just for the necessary tools. All in all I probably had about 7 hours in the install (alone) but a good 1.5hr was just figuring out where I wanted to mount the compressor, gauges, and solenoid. I did the full kit with on board compressor. The kit came very well packaged in manufacturers boxing, all the hoses, hardware, pieces where there and packaged separately. I strongly suggest reading the instructions thoroughly a couple times before starting. They skip around a bit and have important notes but are not in order. Some of the instructions say to use a torque wrench which first of all most DIY guys dont even have. Unless it's just this kit, you will not be able to get a torque wrench on the upper bolts as it says to. Take your time and plan your install. You will need jack stands and a good jack. The instructions say to support the axel with jack stands which is incorrect. You'll want to support the frame with jack stands so you can use the jack to move the rear end up and down to accommodate installation. Do not mount the compressor under the hood. The heat will shorten the life. I had to call to ask where their suggested placement was cause it's not in the instructions and ended up mounting in on the inside of the frame out of any wheel splash areas. They actually answered the phone on a Saturday at 10a. With the airlines, btw not 1 leak after installed, take your time with your cuts. Make sure they are very cleanly cut and not beveled edges. I made sure my cuts were perfect and left plenty of slack not only for movement but incase I had to re-cut. I used a sharp razor. When you push them into the fitting you'll feel a slight pop, you need to push them in farther to seat the airline. This is probably where most people have air issues. They will slightly pop and then slide in an additional 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Practice before you try under the truck, the are easy to remove my pushing the pressure fitting in and pulling the hose back out. The compressor works great up to about 50lbs then it does slow down a bit but what would you expect from a tankless system under $200. Pumped up to 90lbs for test in about 3 or 4 minutes. When installing the wiring you will want a couple "add a fuse" kits to tie in to the fuse panels. Most parts stores have them for about $7. They are not in the kit. Last but not least I used the extra unions and 1 that I bought to run a single manual line to the rear bumber just incase the compressor goes out towing or just to keep a safe pressure in them for driving. Hope this helps a little.

Reliable!
Bought this as an add-on to my Air Lift 57289 'LoadLifter 5000' Air Spring Kit. The convenience of having a on board air compressor with gauge, brings peace of mind. I tested the unit out on our last 200 mile trip and was pleased with the outcome. It's true to its description. Installation was a breeze along with the instructions. I mounted the unit along the chassis frame underneath the driver-side passenger. I tried to tuck the controller as best as possible to avoid the weather elements. During our last trip, we experienced a huge rain storm which brought concern due to possible water damage but due to the placement of the unit or the construction of the unit itself, the unit still works as if new. As far as the on-board controller, the hardest part was looking for a place to mount it. I decided to mount it by the emergency brake release lever. Placement does not obstruct anything. I would definitely recommend this product.

EXCELLENT air pump-gauge-control system!
I added the Air Lift 5000 air bags to my 2500HD Chevy, and didn't want to have to fool with 'airing them up' all the time, so I got to looking into an onboard air-system that could maintain my rear air lift kit...and this was DEFINITELY what I was looking for. Not that bad to mount (other than trying to figure out where to run those air lines) uses 1/4" 'Big Truck' air hose, not 1/8" air shock air lines. The pump is easy to mount under your truck bed, wiring is pretty simple too...hose isn't that bad...BUT you almost need an engineering degree to figure out all the wiring and plumbing right there at the gauge as you are mounting it under your dash!!! The instructions are critical...and yet they still don't have enough detail to them... Took me about 2-hours in the cab to get this thing mounted and 'cleaned up' so no hoses or wiring showed from under the dash. Overall, a great kit...just give yourself plenty of time to work out the back side of that gauge when plumbing it all together...2-4 hours isn't an unreasonable amount of time to give yourself...(might be easier on an older truck...but my 2007 under-dash was COMPLETELY buttoned up when I started, and finding dash lights and hot leads isn't quite as easy under a 2007 as it was under, say a 1977 truck).

Easy and reliable
Trickiest part is figuring out where to mount the gage and control panel. Easy wiring, plenty of air line, and. No more external compressor needed. Fills the bags very fast, key is to be unloaded during initial inflate. I tow a 32 foot travel trailer and two dirtbikes for just about 9.5 thousand pounds every weekend. I inflate the bags to 25 pounds, load up, hook up, and check if I'm level. A simple bump is all I require if at all.

Worked ok on a Tahoe, and with imagination you can do this.
Overall a pretty straight-forward installation and I mounted the dial and the switch in the glove compartment of my 2013 Tahoe. It took some creativity and some removal of their pre-plumbed tubing to make it work, but I was able to mount the compressor inside under a rear driver side panel in the back near the rear hatch, and I made a little bracket to make it work. Then wiring and plumbing was decently difficult but doable. If you have a sense of adventure and mechanical ability you can do it. Here's how it's operating so far. It pumps up things to 5psi which barely registers on the gauge. Then when you go over a BIG bump it pumps for a second or two. Overall I like the system but I have NOT TRIED IT WITH A LOAD yet. This is just after installation and I will try it with a load in the next few days and hopefully update the review.

Worth the additional expense.
It really improves ride, even when not towing. I've got a excursion 7.3 and pulling a 14' dual axel 14,000 dump trailer. The air lift bags are wonderful but this controller removes the hassle. I installed ina side compartment in rear but inside. I measure hitch height, hook up trailer then air it up to match. Its better than doing it from cab. It's a pleasure to make the ride smooth & safe.

Great Kit
I mounted this on my 2017 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, unit was easy to install but with auto safety pressure switch set at 5psi and the control set between 10 to 20psi the pump pulses at every bump in the road, very anoying and I would assume hard on the pump. I added a 10 second delay relay between the pressure switch and pump, a $15.00 addition that fixed the problem!

decent. convenient
i installed these along with some air lift 5000 springs. so far, i'm happy with them. i like having the air pressure adjustable at the push of a button from in the cab vs adding air to the valve manually outside of the truck.

Nice to have auto fill for the bags
I like the kit it comes with, very easy to just plug and clip. I will say this and that is to make sure you Pre run all wire and hoses before connecting for they give plenty of extra hose and wire. Which you will need to coil up. So make sure your placement is where you want it.

This kit puts everything in a nice package
When I purchased the Air Lift 60818 rear air spring kit for my 2010 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4WD, I also purchased the Air Lift 25592 Load Controller II kit. I'm glad I did. It took about 3 hours to install, but I took my time to plan out where things went. I initially wanted to mount the compressor under the hood, but Air Lift doesn't recommend that location due the the high heat. I didn't want to mount it under the floor, as MN winters would kill it real quick. I mounted the compressor in the left storage compartment under the rear seat. There is a plastic body plug under the carpet in a great spot to run the air line out and under the floor for the air bags and a gap between the floor and riser for the seat to run the wiring and air line to the gauge panel. The carpeting and seat do a pretty good job of deadening the sound when the compressor runs, too. you can hear it, but it's not obnoxious. I mounted the gauge panel under the driver's seat temporarily, until I decide if I'll get a gauge pillar pod to mount the gauge. The control panel is a bit 'old-school' in appearance, and doesn't lend itself to dash mounting in our newer trucks, as there are no level areas on the dash that would be appropriate and allow you to see the gauge. A small, rectangular digital gauge would look much cleaner, and that's what I may do. As it is, under the driver's seat is unobtrusive, and relatively easy to reach, just can't read the gauge unless you are out of the truck. It also allowed me to run the lines and wiring under the sill plate trim for a clean look. The kit came with enough line and fittings for me to do a neat install. The Festo push-lock air fittings are great and make the install easy and professional looking! I use them all the time in my work and have never had one fail. Air Lift is a little too 'economical' with the tie-wraps though, I ended up using a couple dozen to make sure the lines are out of the way of any heat or sharp edges. Same with the wiring to the power distribution box under the hood. They could have provided longer wire for the power, but this kit was designed when the fuse blocks were under the dash, not under the hood like most are today. Overall I am quite pleased with my purchase. It arrived very quickly (thanks Amazon) and well packaged.
