I bought this to seal around my bathroom toilet and tub during the remodel. This is the high quality FULL SILICONE sealant that has a sealant smell when you apply and it is curing. Does not clean up with water. Sticks very well and you have to scrape if off if you ever need to remove it. When it dries this sealant creates a rubber seal that will not leak. This is the only sealant to buy. It is the best. Do not buy “latex” based water washable cheap sealant unless you need to paint over it. Only buy “Silicone” sealant unless you need to paint over the sealant. Beware of merchant sellers selling expired product on Amazon. Make sure to get it from Amazon as they track expiration dates.

GE's silicone has always been reliable. I wish they would put a cutting guide on the tip so you know where to cut to get the bead size you need. Either that or make changeable screw on type tips to select a size.

Some customers complained about the expiration date on their purchase but I am hear to say that the two 10.1 oz tubes that I bought have dates that are greater than one year away. Today's date is 2/26/20 and the expiration date on my tubes are 06/2021. I was concerned when I read that review stating that their tube's expiration date was coming up in around 30 days. The price is about half of that of similar products and I have used this same product and manufacture before and I know it's good. Thanks

This is probably one of the best caulking I have used. But there are a few caveats. I have struggled with other caulking because of inexperience and a poor caulking gun. Having said that I do find this advanced formula to work quickly and smoothly. Usually you don’t want to caulk tile corners like the one you see in the photo. But I had some grout cracks and wanted to temporarily prevent water for potentially leaking into those cracks. Also be aware that this caulking has methanol, which probably helps with the fast curing but you want to wear a face mask and allow for good ventilation. You will also want to work very quickly under these conditions. Thus I suggest caulking a small area, smooth out the lines, and then caulk another area. Overall this is a great product.

Ordered to redo the caulking for kitchen sink and one bathroom sink. Works perfectly - uniform bead and settles in well. I taped off the non caulking area but a little bit spread out under the tape - my mistake. Used a scraping knife to clear out before it dried fully. I have long since learned to cut the tip with utility knife instead of caulk guns in built cutter - that always gives a wider bead than I planned. While the product says it is water ready in 30 minutes - it takes a few hours to fully dry out. in the first hour, it is still squishy and soft to correct mistakes and push in gaps. This is not transparent / clear by far. It starts grayish when first applied, and turns a little translucent when dried overnight. Does the sealing job well and does not stand out like its bright white version - good enough for me. I'm happy with the purchase and would order again !

If you follow the directions, this product is almost indestructible. Doesn't shrink when completely cured, is incredibly flexible and the seal is air/water tight. I used this on an old-style plastic floored shower that had several long cracks. After several weeks of being stepped on, submerged in water and sprayed with bleach cleaner, no leaks whatsoever. Very, very pleased with this caulk.

This is great caulking to use in and around the kitchen and bathroom, of which I am doing at this time. Had to buy a caulking gun to fix some stuff outside so decided I will get the bathroom re-caulked since I have the gun and everything will be good for the next few years. Would recommend the GE brand of caulk if you are trying to decide what brand to buy. Thanks.

I had to replace the air switch on a jacuzzi tub at the ten year mark - this was the original caulk used. Even after ten years, this stuff was stretchy and tough. I bought the same when I re-caulked the tub. It went on easy, dried really, really fast and looks great. Will probably last another ten years until I have to fix that pesky switch again.

This is superior IMO because you can reuse the same tube over and over and the silicone doesn't get too hard to use after the first time. So far this is the ONLY SILICONE tube that I have used that I was able to reuse even MONTHS later. As far as it's function it works just as well as most others. (when others work first on opening)

I'm a big fan of GE Silicone 2 having been recommended it many years ago. It lasts longer than many of the other brands I've tried. When I ordered this, it was noticeably cheaper than my local retailers. Showed up on time and as expected.
