Seems effective

During pregnancy I have gone through three jars of belly rub or whatever you want to call it. I've liked them all but this one was definitely the most moisturizing. It was perfect for the time when I was growing rapidly and my stomach was constantly itching. I'd put it on after my shower every morning. It is a little slimy to apply, but I think that's also what made it so absorbent. The smell is really nothing. Not good, but not bad. For the price, I'd definitely say this was worth it and I got great peace of mind from knowing the natural contents of the product.

I have ordered what I think is thousands of items on Amazon and don't recall leaving another review. MPB is amazing. The real deal. Not only is it a non-toxic product it works! I cannot guarantee that it will help with stretch marks (I'm only six months - nothing yet) but I can tell you any random skin issues it has it will help tremendously. I get a little eczema on my arms and legs and it disappeared within a couple days! I could not recommend this product any more. Do yourself a favor and buy it. Side notes - it has a soft scent that I find pleasant. Texture is obviously a balm but absorbs fairly quickly.

Felt like it helped with my belly as it grew during pregnancy. I didn't have many stretch marks with my first pregnancy and am expecting this product to also help keep my belly moisturized during my 2nd pregnancy.

Feels great on an itchy belly

I got this after running out of my cocoa butter. I read the reviews and thought that it would be worth it. Boy was I right! I'm 21 weeks right now and have been using it since I was 12 weeks along. I can't guarantee if this prevents or improves stretch marks but it helps with moisturizing and keeping me from itching my belly all day. I use it every night after I shower so that I don't have to use it in the morning. The moisture lasts that long. Love it. I will continue to use this throughout the rest of my pregnancy.

Helping my skin threw the changes.

I am 41/2 months pregnant with twins and have gained 16-18 lbs. I use this product every other day, sometimes daily. When I first when to use the product the top was so stiff but if you just push and get a dime size amount it rubs around nicely. It is thick but I like it. The smell is nice and calming. Now does it work, well my stomach doesnt have any stretch marks at this point. I breast on the other had well they have a few to say the least. I use it on my hips stomach and breast. I could say for sure if it is working but I imagine in one way or another it is helping my skin threw the changes.

Love this salve! I figured, based on my genes and stretch marks on my hips and thighs from growing, that my belly was going to be covered in stretch marks. I just started using this product as I have read to start using it before you get bit. Hydrate the skin early and often. When I first opened it I was afraid it was going to be greasy and get on my clothes. Not at all though! I put it on when I get out of the shower and it absorbs within a minute. It seems to be very moisturizing and hopefully it helps with stretch marks in the long run. I alternate with another oil product. I only use the oil at night. (That way it doesn't get my clothes greasy)

Favorite pregnancy skin product!

This purchase was for my second pregnancy. I used Pregnant Belly Salve for my first pregnancy as well. This is such an amazing product! My skin never felt itchy and I didn’t feel like my stomach was greasy or sticky but felt moisturized all day. I’ve still been using it to use up the jar even though my baby has already been born. Very high quality products! I have very sensitive skin and have never had irritated skin from any of their products!

Awesome product

I used this through the second and third trimesters on my abdomen and breasts and it worked wonders for me-- no stretch marks! My OB was amazed at how moisturized and unblemished my skin remained throughout my pregnancy wanted to know how I did it. It smells divine and I always looked forward to putting it on.
