Great pulley.
I had shoulder surgery for a SLAP injury - similar to rotator cuff - with 6 weeks in a sling. PT required a pulley. This over-the-door pulley was the closest I could find to the design at PT - where there was a bar that allowed you to stand under the pulley and pull your arm straight up. Most other pulleys are just a strap that keeps you right up against the door so you don't get quite the right angle. I thought the price might mean this was too cheap and would break, but I have been using it now for almost 2 months and it has been fantastic. It has not damaged my door. At this point I would say with tremendous force I can pull my arm to full range of motion. I worried about the force breaking the pulley, but it has been fine. What has broken is the rope. With so much wear and tear it was too much for the rope. It was easily replaced - I bought 110 lb paracord that seemed to be the right diameter. I got 100 Ft for $7, so if you have some heavy duty PT to do you might consider buying better rope - or at least examining it before every use. I also had basically zero range of motion behind my back when I started, and as I progressed I found the plastic handles - while great for the other PT moves, was quite hard on my thumb and wrist for the behind the back pulls. So I modified the handle by making a kind of foam donut that I attached under the handle to slide my hand into. Other than the behind-the-back moves the handles are perfect for all the other PT moves. I would gladly have paid double or triple the price for this given how well it has worked for my recovery.

can't ask for more than this!
I don't use the pulleys here, I have to say first of all...my therapist & doctor both told me that I don't need them as my rotation & flexibility is 170/177. But I got this anyway so I could tie on a flexi-band to do the other exercises that I do for added strength in my shoulders (after tearing two ligaments). It is easy to mount, just over the door, stays in place & there is absolutely no chance of pulling it down by accident, so I am able to work out with perfect confidence...also the perfect height, as pictured here. As an added bonus, my own late Mother had one of these for the stretching harness she had to use for the vertebrae in her neck *severe arthritis* years ago & when she wasn't using it for that, she used it to hang her ironing on the kitchen door each week while she finished the laundry! So ...many uses here lol... an excellent purchase, I'd say! ;)

Exactly like my PT's pulley
This is exactly like the one at the PT center and the over the door hook did not damage my interior door during use. This helped me work out the kinks in a frozen shoulder over a period of two months. Grateful to have found this on Amazon and to be able to move through the correct motions at home which speeded my recovery. I bought a different version first which didn't meet my needs, but this one really did. Recommended!

For my shoulder/ arm issue, this has been a diffe
First, I substained a upper arm-shoulder injury. My physical therapy recommended this one for my perticular sessions. That said I purchased this on Amazon and have been using the pulley system both at home and at physical therapy per instructions from my therapist with very positive results as part of my regular PT sessions.

Buy it. Your health is worth it
Excellent! Nicer than the one at my doctors office. I broke my humerus in half and this is exactly what I needed for physical therapy after my arm was in a cast for 14 weeks. Really helps with the range of motion. The rope is pretty long so I just shortened it up to my liking. I am 5’ 11 and do my exercises seated so I can get full extension. Very easy to put together. Quality is good. Pulleys are smooth. I installed mine on my closet door and sit on my bed. Works perfectly! For the price this is an excellent item.

MUST HAVE for shoulder injuries
I injured my shoulder and it froze. Range of motion took months. These are amazing & help stretch me in the morning & increase my range throughout the day. I pack them in my suitcase & travel with them. Very easy to take anywhere. LOVE THEM! My Physical Therapist has them in clinic & recommended them.

Great for increasing range of motion
I puchased this product based on the reviews of other Amazon purchasers. The quality of this product is excellent. It is very easy to install (just put on the badk of a door). I use it to extend the range of motion of my right shoulder (arthritis). The nice thing about this product is I can use the handle with my right hand and tie a 5 pound weight to the other end and I not only get to increase my range of motion but also make my muscle stronger. I haven't gotten past a 5 pound weight (I've only had it a week) but will try a 10 pound weight next (hopefully!). I'm very happy with this product and results.

Better than my PT's office!
This looks like the one at my Physical Therapist's office but sturdier. I had shoulder surgery 12 weeks ago and this is a must for recovery. The price is incredible and the quality is perfect. I've been using this twice a day for the last 6-8 weeks and it's as good as the day I received it. Would recommend this to anyone who is having shoulder surgery.

I have had immediate improvement i my range of motion and strength. I also have a substantial reduction in edema in my hands. A friend ser it up for me, it took less than five minutes. Just what I’ve been looking for!

Easy to put together
This is a very nice system. Since my Mom needs to do her stretches in a chair this made it very easy for her since it could also hang on her closet door. This made more room to place her chair to build her strength.
