Bought to replace my HF engine hoist jack. That one lasted 5 years, not bad for their junk. If this one does the same I’ll be happy. Bolted right in. Took maybe 15 mins including time to look for sockets and PB blast the bolts. Time will tell how well this will last. The one I received was red, doesn’t match but not concerned at all. Works like it should.

Bolted right up to my old cherry picker. Initial stress tests involved picking up a fully dressed all iron big block Chevy. Totally worth the price. Would reccomend or buy again if my other cherry picker/engine hoist cylinder should fail. * Note- the original cylinder in my older no name engine hoist that spent many years outside began leaking this new cylinder was just the part to make it like new.

Great replacement. Had a engine hoist that was left outside for many years and the bottom seal went out on the Jack. Couldn't find the right seal... Needed a quick fix and this was the choice. Actually a higher capacity than the old one. Down side... Doesn't come with a handle. Which sucked because the handle of my old one was the wrong size. Some modifications to it made it fit, but we have to open the screw with a pair of pliers.

Replaced a 20yr old ram with this one, works perfectly, no bleed off, no leaks and even comes with the handle! Impressive...... Held the motor in place while installing it, would think i could use it for other items as well once needed. Highly recommend this piece of equipment

Happy customer.. totally affordable price, came to replace an old one installed on a cherry picker, had to lift an outboard engine: was installed in 5 minutes, and did the job perfectly well. Totally satisfied.

Works :) The old 2 ton bottle was leaking. I'm the third owner of an engine hoist that had NEVER been used. The jack never even had oil in it, but by the time I got to it, it wouldn't hold pressure regardless. They don't make seal kits for it so replaced it with this 3 ton and it worked great, pulled out a 780+ lb motor with the hoist extended to 1/2 ton. Scared me a bit to push it that far, but it handled it no problem. Left it hanging on it for a week before putting it on a stand...no issues.

Perfect fitment on my Big Red Engine hoist, the precious hydraulic cylinder failed right before pulling the engine from my CoPart salvage 2014 Scion tC. $41 and 2 bolts later I was back up and running and was able to swap out the seized engine. Fast shipping too!

Bought this for my engine hoist to replace the original ram that was leaking hydraulic fluid. This part is more heavy duty, heavier, and better constructed than the original. Installation took about 10 minutes. I have used the hoist several times over the past two months with no issues. The longest being 1 week holding a Chevrolet 4.2L engine block waiting for a part. No adjustment was needed it kept the same height for the week.

My old 2 ton ram (another brand) was leaking like crazy. I got some seals and tried to repair but the seals weren't identical and it began to leak again. I bought the 3 ton capacity and the boom can go out further with more confidence. I like it.

It came quick and works out of the box, it takes a lot of pumps but I assume that because it’s a ratio for three ton instead of two ton. It had full travel on my puller. Could use a rubber handle grip considering your always greasy pulling motors.
