It really works as a mouse repellent!

Excellent product! I used it in my vehicle to get rid of a mouse. I placed a few drops in the carpet, right next to the bottom part of the dash, and on some tissues to stuff in the space between the windshield and the top of the dash. I did this in the evening, when I got home, and the next morning, there was NO sign of the mouse! That has been at least 2 months ago, and still no mouse. I also like the crisp scent it leaves in my vehicle. I cannot wait to try it for the spiders that come in the house in the fall.

high quality

Oils from Young Living and Doterra are top quality, but the price is HIGH! I've tried other knock off brands, but none have the same quality as the two brands above except for the single oils from NOW. NOW Peppermint is one of my favorites. I love that you can purchase a large bottle for a reasonable price. It was a bit challenging to find a bottle with a dropper, which is necessary for practical use. Thankfully I found one! I won't buy any other brand than NOW for single oils. The blends, however, I don't think are as great and will pay for the Young Living or Doterra blends since they don't smell as great with the NOW brand.

Pure peppermint oil, very strong, exactly what you'd expect

Peppermint oil is always a part of my "emergency migraine kit". First time using this brand, but it was exactly what I was expecting. This pure oil works great when applied to your forehead to alleviate headache pain with it's strong tingling sensation. I like to use it while other medications are kicking in or for mild headaches. Also works well as a decongestant if you rub a few drops in your hands, cup your hand around your nose, and breathe in. Be sure to avoid getting it in your eyes.

Mouse free camper

I used this when I closed up the camper last year for the winter. I want to start by saying I have tried everything people have told me to keep the mice away from dryer sheets to bay leaves. Every Spring I return to find mouse poop in the drawers. Some things have worked better than others but there has always been some mouse poop. When I closed up last year I put a cotton ball with peppermint oil in each drawer and one in each corner by the pullouts. I put them in the closets...Anywhere I feared a mouse may walk. When I closed up the camper you really smelled the peppermint. It almost burned my nose. Today was the real test. When I opened the camper you still had a slight pleasant scent of peppermint. Nothing overwhelming. But as I cautiously opened every drawer I became happier and happier. For the first time EVER, and that's over ten years, there was not one single itty bitty poop in any of the drawers!! What a wonderful feeling. I will DEFINITELY be buying this every year. You may be thinking about the cost. Yes ....there are cheaper things out there like the bay leaves or the dryer sheets...but they don't work. I used almost 4 bottles in a 36 foot camper. It may have been over kill but it's not like I can refresh things monthly. When I leave it is for at least 5 months. To me it was worth the expense to protect something I have spent thousands of dollars on. Get some pure essential peppermint oil and be a Happy Camper.

Highly Recommended (lasts a while- smells great-and great price)

By far the best Peppermint aromatherapy oil out there for a few reasons: -You can the most out of the bottle (lasts long) for a good price, compared to other brands - It was one of the best peppermint smells (again compared to other brands) - Helps immediately if I have a belly ache- I just rub it on and it helps immediately. I highly recommend this product

My new favorite!!!

I'm so happy with my purchase of NOW Peppermint Oil. I've been adding peppermint oil to my shampoo for YEARS... not only does it stimulate hair growth, it reacts with the steam in the shower to clear up clogged sinuses and invigorate the lungs. Really helps me wake up in the morning!! Anyway, I buy peppermint oil A LOT and never really noticed the difference between brands (I just always got what was cheapest)... This time I happened to buy it from NOW Foods and I can guarantee you I'm never switching again. It's affordable, it was shipped promptly, and the scent is rich and wonderful, not thin and astringent like some other brands I've tried. Five stars for the peppermint oil... I'll be ordering some other scents next!!

Keeps mice away!

I had a mouse that kept making nests in my truck. We tried everything, traps, glues, poison, you name it! I have been using peppermint oil to keep the mouse out and it has been working wonders! Apparently mice hate the smell if peppermint. I pour the oil on cotton balls and place them around my truck, so far this has been working well. This oil was properly packaged and delivered promptly. I will definitely buy from this seller again in the future. I really liked the value of this brand of oil, other brands were much more expensive for much less oil.

Suprisingly effective and a great deal!

I'll admit that I was a little suspicious regarding the effectiveness of essential oils before using this product, but this brand has surprisingly turned me into an honest believer. As a student who spends a lot of late nights studying or writing papers, I have noticed that NOW Solutions peppermint oil increases my alertness and boosts my energy levels during those late nights when it's crucial to be productive. I've even been using it before going to the gym to give me that little extra push. I just add 1-2 drops to my water, and it seems to be working really well! A little goes a long way, which is nice! Since using this product, I've heard of additional uses for peppermint oil that I'm excited to try, such as improving hair health and growth. I will definitely be purchasing another bottle when I'm finished with this one, as well as perhaps their lavender essential oil--but because you need to use so little, I see this bottle lasting quite a while. It's a great deal for the price.

Great product, love it but the mice don't!

I purchased my first bottle of this, same brand and size, at a local shop for a LOT more. I needed something to deter the mice from getting into my house and camper. When I ran out and needed to replace it, I was pleased to find it here, and paid less and it was delivered to my door. This stuff works so well! I washed the areas that the mice were entering to remove their pheromones, put a small container with a few cotton balls near the areas, added some peppermint oil, and no more mice issues! I refresh the peppermint every month or so during the cold season to keep them out.

have the potential to immediately kill cold sore

I suffered many years cold sore and couldn't find a cure until this one. I've tried OTC ointment, ly-sine, prescribed antiviral medicine, even alcohol. None of them works as fast as this peppermint oil. At the onset, I applied a tiny drop (without dilution) over the cold sore and it seemed immediately took effect as I felt the dryness and killing effect. I was surprised the next and following days the tingly itchiness never hit me back and the cold sore just dried out quickly. My past experience on cold sore was quite consistent and it was never like this. So I'm quite positive it is the peppermint oil that does the trick. I'll update this review with more uses, but even though this is only one occasion, I thought it's worthy to share. I knew too many people suffer cold sores and can give it a try.
