I was a bit hesitant to try this mirror as several people gave it poor reviews. It was cheap enough so I thought I'd take a chance and I'm glad I did. This mirror worked great. It does shake a bit, but it is totally usable and allowed me to get through Chicago traffic with a pontoon boat being pulled behind my Tacoma at the height of rush hour without a problem. I did add a round convex mirror to it which really helped me out. Also, I rotated it vertically to accommodate for the round convex mirror. The unit holds fast at highway speeds and even holds fast when you hit heavy potholes. The mirror feels like it is built well and the rubber straps hold fast to your original mirrors without impeding their use. I would definitely buy this again.

Hey lots of mixed reviews out there for these things. I have used mine many times and they work just fine. I pull a 30 ft campter behind my 06 tundra and these mirrors are easy to clip on, have no problem staying on a 600 mile trip, and are a great price. I strongly endorse

This little gadget is a great idea, if you don't already have extended side view mirrors. The installation is simple and straight forward, and it fits my fat little side view mirrors. After strapping it down, the mirror itself can be rotated as shown to fit your needs. They could be easily stolen, so I remove them when not needed. I recommend giving these a try.

Works perfectly on our Kia Sedona. Some vibration over 60MPH but not a problem to see traffic. Check tightness periodically. We put a strip of blue masking tape under it to prevent rubbing paint finish on car mirror. Would buy again.

We had to have mirrors to visualize the area by the sides of our camper more completely than mirrors on the truck. Here are some things to consider; The width of your trailer; We have a mid size truck ( No OEM mirror extensions available) and our camper is 7ft wide. The drivers side mirror allowed checking traffic and lane changes quickly and safely. The passenger side mirror did not work any better than the blind spot camera that comes on when Right turn signal is activated. Without that camera we would have been quite happy using the mirror. It was used for passenger to check traffic and alert driver when to attempt lane changes in heavy traffic. But we have a narrow trailer, these mirrors may not work with a wider trailer. We expected these mirrors to vibrate and have to be readjusted on the trip. Did not happen - much to our surprise. Consider the outside temperature: We traveled in 50-30 degree weather, and the straps stayed tight over 1500 miles. In Hot weather - full sun the rubber straps may need tightening due to stretching. These were a very good deal for the price, and easy to put on.

This worked surprisingly well for my Mercedes GL450. Installation was so easy with the articulating frame and rubber straps I thought it would fall off during my trip, but it did not, just make sure the straps are snug enough to withstand a gust from a passing big rig. Now the vibration was obvious as others have mentioned but it was not so bad that I couldn’t tell that there was a car in the next lane. What do you expect for the price. Bottom line is that it works and is a great value.

Installed on 2011 Expedition, the straps were BARELY long enough. They are pretty stiff which is good but it was difficult to stretch them any longer. Ordered 2, one for each side. One was fine, the other was missing the clip on a strap so we weren't able to use it but we were impressed with the one that did and we requested a replacement for the 2nd one rather than a refund. Concerned over other reviews about slipping, I purchased a roll of shelf non-slip liner (less than a buck at walmart) to put a piece on the back of the Expedition's mirror and then strap on the extended mirror over that, just to give it a little more grip. We didn't end up doing that and it stayed on fine anyway, but I think I would try that next time. We won't need to tow something that wide very often but we're glad we have these just in case.

I've used these for a couple of trips now on my Kia Sorento towing a 20' travel trailer. They do the job. Yes the vibrate a little at highway speeds, but still can tell if there is a vehicle next to me. Also, they are adjustable, but stay where you adjust them. They're especially invaluable when I have to backup the trailer. Gives me the extended view that I need to maneuver safely. For the price, can't beat it.

I purchased these for my 2015 Tundra. They work great. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I use only when towing my camper a few times a year. After a few quick adjustments with the straps, I was able to securely attach them to my mirrors. I've used them three times so far. They have remained in place securely each time. As others have noted, they do jitter from the bumps on the road, but it does not inhibit the view of vehicles behind you. For the money, these are exactly what I wanted. Definitely recommend.

I've used these before. After about six years I had one to fly off because the rubber straps had weakened. I liked them so much that I am buying them again. Problem; when pulling an RV I need a mirror that sticks out really far on the right side. I still have not found one for pulling yet. I've seen them, but they were going in the opposite direction on the highway. Kinda hard to ask 'em where they got it.
