Guinea pigs need exercise and chew toys - this works for both. The guineas chew on it often and natural push it around their cage. Because of its shape and size it doesn’t get lost in their bedding, which is a plus for them and for me as I don’t have to worry about accidentally throwing it out when cleaning (as can happen with other types of chew sticks). Only con is I question the need for the color and what it means for the quineas to be injesting it. But that’s everything out there these days.

I purchased this for my guinea pig and he loves it. It seems to be the perfect size for him. He pushes it around his cage and he loves to play with it when I get him out to run around. He doesn't chew on it as much as I would have hoped but it still seems to be a nice toy to keep him entertained.

Just for reference it doesn't come with an actual nut inside, has a wooden ball. I view that as a good thing since peanuts and tree nuts tend to spoil and there is no telling how long it has been sitting on a shelf. Great product for my pets even when pulled apart there are still sticks in there and other chew toys in the cage for the pets. Edit: and the mice already chewed on it a little bit. - one of them like to hop on top of it and then jump ontop of the Ware Manufacturing Flying Saucer Exercise Wheel for Small Pets, 7 1/4-Inch - Colors may vary

I can say whether they love it or not based on how much they nibble on it and how much they bother to nibble it again.. so based on that I can say that my piggies love love it. I keep buying them once in a month because once they start nibbling the Sticks that joins the knot , the whole wooden sticks starts falling apart along with the ball in the center & it goes waste..also there cage becomes messy.I don't mind buying it along with their food every time because it's their only happines chewing and playing by rolling it from one end to the other end of the cage. It is worth buying in my sense..

My Holland Lop enjoys grabbing this and tossing it, rolling it and chewing on it. It's a great toy. Looks like a wooden ball in the center (not a nut) but I'm not positive. There's a lot of chewing to be done before he gets that far into it. My only concern would be if that round center could be a choking hazard, but I will remove it before he gets to that point.

My two moth old bunny loved throwing this around her cage for a couple weeks. Then she realized it came apart and pulled each of the thin rods out one by one till it fell apart. She had fun doing it but she's done with it since it in a bunch of pieces. I'm going to buy another one just so she can have fun throwing it around and taking it apart. Update: I bought a couple more and they must have done something different in the manufacturing. My bunny cannot pull the thin rods out like the last one, I can't even pull them out! She was frustrated at first but now that she realizes it won't come apart she throws it around and chases it. She doesn't chew on it much but every once in a while I see her trying to pull the thin rods out still.

Our rabbit (5lb) has destroyed other rabbit specific toys, but this one is holding strong and she loves it. The little orange sticks can be pulled out, which is a great environmental stimulus for her. I will put the sticks back in and she will move it around to figure out which ones are loose enough to pull out again (like rabbit Jenga). It’s light enough for her to pick up and move, and also sturdy enough for her to roll around with her forelimbs. We will definitely be buying this again!!!

My rats L-O-V-E this toy!!! I've purchased it several times now, and will continue to! Every other time I clean their cage I put a new one of these in it and they play with it all day! (Sometimes I put a drop of vanilla or a small dab of sugar-free almond butter on the ball in the middle. This apparently takes the toy from "Fun and exciting!" to "My rats look like crack addicts trying to get another fix"). Unfortunately, my rats refuse to learn how to type on a keyboard... but if they COULD type, they would rate this 6/5 stars. 100% recommend!

Perfect Guinea pig toy. Their favorite hands down. All of the spaces makes hanging it a breeze or you can just leave it on the ground and they chew it and crawl over it. It seems to make a difference in their teeth by keeping them filed down. I am ordering more to place in different parts of their habitat. The construction is solid and the colors are bright. It's fun to put their vegetables in the middle of the ball and they go crazy tying to pull out pieces of celery and carrots. They work as a team to pry the veggies out and then prance all over to flaunt their skills. Adorable toy and serves as a treat dispenser.

My chinchilla loves taking these apart. They do come in different sizes. She can take apart the small version easily and happily. The larger one is a little too big for her digits but that does not stop her from taking it apart. She tries, gives up, tries again, throws it around in frustration, tries again... In the end it takes her about a week to take it apart, versus the smaller size, which takes her an hour or two. Then she spends another week chewing on the pieces.
