Very comfortable
I had an old school screw seat post and although it was a comfortable throne it finally wore out and would work itself loose and make it wobble. This thing is rock solid.

STURDY! No complaint, high hopes.
This is replacing an old Pearl entry level throne that was used until it completely failed. This thing is so robust I don't see it ever breaking, at least not in the same way :) Also FAR more padding. Also nice that the seat is secured to the base, yet is removable.

Good buy.
Bought as a second throne to leave at church. I have a Mapex that’s 20 yrs old and is in great shape, what I got on sale for 30 bucks is now about 70 bucks. So I went with this. Thick seat, comfortable. Not as precise height adjustment as the old Mapex. Happy with purchase.

Good Service, Easily assembled, and what I wanted.
I'll break it down to product/assembly, the use of the item, then costumer service. I'll mention something about height too, just because I know some people who are 6 ft+ might be concerned about items. I'm just under 6'2". I am very happy with the purchase, and have no complaints (although I just received it today). Actually I only spent about 15 minutes with it, that includes picking the item out of the package, constructing it, setting the height, sitting on it for a few minutes, testing it out for what I intent on primarily using it for. And yes, that was all done in 15 minutes. There is a manual, but it wasn't necessary to read it. There are no separate bags with nuts and bolts, just a few twist knobs, including one with a bolt that you have to manually remove to adjust the height (it also contains a washer, and a small metal piece to secure the connected that particular stand part. The seat can easily stored too. It folds up, and if you are willing, you can break it done into three parts (the Stand, the neck, and the seat)> Alright, as for using it. As I mentioned earlier, I'm in the moderately tall range (6 feet 1.5 inches.) and I felt the seat felt the maximum height that the product could achieve was good. Now, I should note that I did not this idea with the prime idea of using it as a stool sit behind a drum set. I will use it for that, but I really had hoped it'd make a good seat for me to play my electric guitar on while operating many pedals (I always play sitting down). It is not the same, but mere fact that testing how it felt to push wah pedals and volume pedals should make the concept a bit more universal. Anyway, the feedback I can give is that it was steady, I could easily extend my foot, push (with force) repeatedly, without shaking the foundation or my balance. The seat seems comfortable enough. And if you are really picky about seats, well I can tell you that this is something I look for. And to make my vote carry more weight, aside from just being a tall 195 lbs. guy who enjoys a cushioned seat for my weight, but I also don't have a big back side and on top of that, I have a pace maker implanted in my right ass-cheek, so I have to cope with the fact that it feels like I am always sitting on my cellphone. So that gives me plenty of reason to be picky. Lastly, the customer service. I ordered it on either Thursday or Friday, they sent it on Saturday, I got it on Tuesday. I knew when they sent it because the actually made a courtesy call when they sent it (I didn't answer, but still got the voice message). It was well packaged, and easy to be unpacked. In fact, I opened it on my bed and assembled all on my full-sized beds despite while I had other then on there. I can't say that everyone will get the same service as me, shipping could have been fast because of the shipping location and the delivery location. But still, it was what it was for me.

Comfortable and sturdy
I'm a big fan of PDP and DW gear, so I was expecting this to be made well, but it was even better than I expected. The seat is extremely comfortable and, as usual with PDP, has a sturdy build. Of course, I'm a petite female drummer that weighs less than 100lbs so I don't know how it would feel for someone much larger. But our singer who's a 6'2" guy used it for a bit and thought it was really comfortable too.

Comfortable drummers stool
This is a nice drummers chair. Note that grease can leak out the center of the chair, so if you are placing on a rug or carpet make sure to place some sort of protection under the throne.

Very good product, exactly what I was needing
Very good drum throne for the price. It arrives in good condition, on time and a had no problem with the shipping. This drum throne has an easy adjustment system, very solid and rigid materials of construction. The seat is nice, strong and padded, it's very comfortable. I like it a lot. I recommend this drum throne for any occasion: a gig, live, concert, for practice, etc.

Well made. Strong. Heavy duty
Excellent drum throne for an adult male weighing more than 170 pounds. Fixtures are all solid and heavy. The seat cushion is comfortable but firm. Strongly recommend.

a regular drum throne suitable for most gigging adults 225+ pounds
One of the watch-outs that you are going to need to watch out for is that there are virtually dozens of collapsible drum thrones being sold online nowadays, and, at least one third of them are made for the express purpose of supporting an average teenage child - weighing in at less than 150 pounds - to practice at home on an electronic drum set. These children's drum thrones are made of much lighter gauge materials than a regular adult drum throne, and will in all likelihood warp or simply collapse (yikes!) under the weight of an average adult male (I for example weigh 225 pounds). Furthermore, the black & white stock photos on many of these kiddie thrones can be downright misleading. A rough rule of thumb is that anything under say, fifty bucks, is just a toy meant for kids, whereas anything over fifty bucks, is a regular drum throne suitable for most gigging adults, such as the Pacific 700 Series throne, that we see pictured here.

Lightweight and Comfortable
This is a review for the tractor version. I am female and less than 140 pounds. I have several drum thrones that I use for digital pianos and drum set, including some pricey ones, but find better support with tractor style. This is easy to transport, very lightweight. Just fold down the legs, take off the seat if you want. The height can be left as is, no need to readjust with setting it up. With attention to adjusting, the seat can swivel a bit. Appears solid. East assembly too. A great purchase.
