Lyre is a nice quality heavyweight metal. Hopefully it will stand up to a new marcher and not bend or break.

Solid design that hasnt changed in 30 years. Why fix what isnt broken? I would caution new marchers, do not over-tighten the ring that goes around your clarinet. It can snap and then you are left without a stand for your music for the game.

Holds my music tightly and stays snug on my instrument. Initially I thought it didn’t work because it wouldn’t fasten, but then I realized the screw was inserted in the wrong side.

Works great on trumpet as well!!!

Since there aren’t a ton of “high quality” trumpet lyres on Amazon, I decided to test this on a trumpet. It works great, as long as you add some duct tape/grippy material in it, it won’t budge if you tighten it well.

Came on Time fits ok had to add some cork So it doesn’t scratch the instruments but works great.

Nice looking and well made...

This is my youngest daughter's first year in band. The band director wanted her to get this for her Clarinet to use when marching. It is a nice looking little thing and it does what it is supposed to. It is attractive and well made and we have had no problems with it. I'd recommend it if you're looking for one.
