2014 BMW K1600GTLE

Battery is about .25" shorter than the factory battery. Easy to shim. A slight twist and both factory cables connect flat, no adapting brackets needed. I received a as advertised new manufacture dated battery. The last one I had over 10 years when I sold the bike with it. It is on a maintainer when not riding. Seems to work well.

A ***QUALITY*** Battery For Your BMW Motorcycle

I ordered this Odyssey PC680 Extreme Series Battery as a replacement for the 5-year old OEM battery in my BMW K1600GTL. This Odyssey PC680 battery had numerous rave reviews on various BMW blogs. I placed it on a Battery Tender for 24 hours after receiving it and it took a full charge with no issues. It's NOT an old stock item...it was manufactured THIS MONTH. It slid right in the BMW battery case and fit perfectly. You will require the Odyssey L Terminal Adapters for installation in a BMW motorcycle...and they were included with the battery. Very nice touch! I've attached a photo showing fitment in my BMW. Please note this is NOT the PC680MJ metal jacket version which apparently doesn't fit in the stock BMW battery case due to its larger size.

There is soft deception in that the Ad. leads one to believe that the L terminal adapters needs to be purchased separately. This battery, I'm glad I purchased, comes with the L terminal adapters. Not knowing the battery comes with the adapters, to the sellers fault, I bought the optional set. Save your seven dollars and change

Best performing battery I've put in my motorcycle

I was tired of trying to keep my farm store batteries charged up and having to replace every two years in my yamaha Vmax so I decided to look the forums and see what others used for batteries. The Odyessy was well talked about so I decided to spend the money on it. Initially I was very impressed it came with a full charge on it and cranked my bike over faster than any other battery I've had, starts it up no problem even in chilly temperatures. I ussually pull my battery out in the winter and bring it in the house and top off the charge every month or so until spring. I didnt get around to it this winter since we had some warmer days early on in the winter, so I left the battery in and put a maintainer charge on it about 3 months in, but it didnt take much it was still at a full charge, I put it on once more two months later and then a month after that I decided to start it up for a ride with the onset of spring and it still impresses how nice it cranks over my 1200 V4. We had some good cold snaps this winter down to about -30°F at one time, and I dont have a heated/insulated garage. If I had thought of it I would've brought the battery in the house before that, but it's just fine. I've had it for about a year now, hopefully get 2 or 3 more years out of it and I'd be happy. I'll be buying Odyessy batteries again.

Performs and lasts as advertised.

I bought this battery to replace a previous Odessey battery in my BMW motorcycle (2000 R1100RS). The previous battery lasted 10 years as advertised and never had trouble starting the bike until it finally died. The ABS in BMW motorcycles can fail to engage if the battery is even a little weak so this battery eliminates that problem. Also, Odessey batteries come fully charged with all the necessary hardware so you can install it as soon as it arrives. If you want a battery that performs and lasts then this is the one to get.

Hubby is super picky when it comes to his motorcycle. We live in hot AZ so his battery will get drained if his motorcycle sits too long. Since knowing him, he has been through 3 batteries- that's a little more than one a year! He would always buy the best most recommended (an most expensive) battery by the store people too. This battery is different though. Before, his battery would take a minute and a few tries before it would finally start the motorcycle. This battery just goes from the start. Even when he didn't start up the motorcycle for a month it started right away. He recommends this battery to everyone with a motorcycle and tells them not to waist their money on any other store battery. Very, very good buy and will purchase again when the time comes.

Best battery on the market

Hands down the best battery I have ever purchased. I went through 3 other batteries before finally purchasing the odyssey and I can honestly say I need to replace all of my other batteries for these. I even left my jet ski key in all night (which usually kills the battery) and I woke up in the morning very angry that I had to drop more $$ on yet another battery but sure enough this thing still had power. Just put it on a trickle charger and it was good to go the next day. I go riding in the salt water quite often and it has stood up to the salt and still works great. I went to batteries plus to pick up another one like this but saw they were 20-30$ more expensive there than here on amazon so I ordered 2 more from this site.

Very tight fit in Ural application.

These are great, long lasting batteries (have one in my K1200LT) but aren't a direct replacement for your stock battery. It fits perfectly in my BMW K1200LT but needs some modification (spacers) to fit the 1992 BMW R100GSPD. I bought this one to replace the battery in my 2013 Ural Patrol. It does fit and works well but be careful installing because it just does fit between the frame rails. I strongly suggest you re-route your taillight wires around the outside of the frame behind the right side battery cover BEFORE you try and install the battery and damage these wires like I did. Otherwise, it was a straight forward install down on it's side once the seat has been removed. Pull the kick start lever down out of your way and then rotate the battery back into the upright position and tie everything back together. I did have to remove the battery pad from under the PC680 so I could retain the (kinda crappy) stock battery hold down straps.

Lightweight and still has enough juice

This battery is a staple for track cars. I replaced my E36 M3 battery and my Z4M roadster battery with this Odyssey PC680. These batteries seem to last forever, and have enough juice to start the car every time. Even after sitting several weeks. And the best part is that at 15lbs or whatever, it drops 20-30lbs out of my track cars. Picture shown is my Z4M roadster, removed the original battery and installed this one in a metal frame up against the rear bulkhead. Not only did I save weight but saved room in my trunk area.

Awesome Customer Service

I use these in my motorcycles and swap them out every couple years just to be on the safe side. I had a question on the date code of my last purchase, called Odyssey's support number and was instantly greeted with a real live human who answered my question in a matter of seconds. That in itself was amazing. I will purchase again just for that level of support.
