My Grandmother always said nothing curls like Caruso's and this is my first set as an adult on a schedule! Love the quick set-up and take down. Have used for all day curls, to get a "spruce" up, and the night before for the "bed curls" look. Comes with so many that you can EASILY do your whole head. I have around 20-22 inches of hair and I had no issues!

Why aren't more people using the steam method? This is not a new technology by any means, and just as good as using ceramic heat rollers. It's way less damaging to your hair than a curling iron, and once you get the hang of it, will take WAY less time to put up. First time through I got decent curls, and then the second time using it I felt like a pro! Watched a few youtube videos beforehand, and they gave me some tips with how to use it efficiently. For my very thick hair it takes 2 water fills for a full head of curls and an average of 20 minutes of my time. Compare that to at least an hour of the curling iron? No brainer. Some of what I've learned: What helps is noticing the differences in sponge size instead of the thickness of the plastic roll itself. Also as a time saver, to prep the plastic clamp/lock, place it on the steamer horizontally, then, as you roll up your hair in the sponge, it'll be ready to clamp immediately to the wrapped hair. Careful! Removing the roller from the steamer, the plastic close to the sponge will be surprisingly hot. Keep your fingers on the outside for safety. If you have short thick hair, consider buying extra small rollers, (can roll eyebrow-length bangs) but for all other hair types, there's enough variety to last you. Teasing hair before rolling is an option, only occasionally, the curlers slip if your hair is too soft/fine. Either that or use bobby pins/sleeker duck clips to secure a few of the rolls. Hair drying/heat isn't necessary, but a 10 second blast of hot hair dryer heat does make a difference!

I have had three of these Steam Hairsetters and I love them! The first one was years ago and I had to return it due to a manufacturing issue. The return was easy and the unit replaced at no cost to me. The next one I owned and used three to five times a week for over 7 years. It worked beautifully without any trouble with it. I only had to replace it recently because I lent it out and it got lost in process of returning it. Someone out there has a great hairsetter. I finally broke down and bought another a few months ago and as I was with the first two - very pleased! The curl stays, you can style it many different ways and the different sized rollers allow for several options. My hair doesn't keep curl very well and this is the best system I have found that will keep the curl. I can even keep the curl for a few days until it is washed again. I would HIGHLY recommend this item without hesitation.

I actually bought this set back in 2015, but it still works perfectly and gets used at least a couple of times a month. I have fine/curly hair that frizzes easily and these leave my hair smooth and shiny. I absolutely love how easy the process is, and that they aren't causing heat damage when I use them. 100% recommend these for anyone with curly or wavy hair who wants an easy way to get big, shiny, smooth barrel curls

I never write reviews but had to on these. I have shoulderlength, baby fine, Somewhat wavy hair. I have always been one of those people that could never get volume in my hair. Even when going to the hairdresser, when they would use a roller brush, my hair would just end up laying flat and with very little volume...not anymore! These rollers are unbelievable at creating volume, and not a crazy amount of curl. Holy smokes, it really looks good! Watch a YouTube video, that helped me. Had to add edit to these individuals that said their didnt curl. Sorry, I don’t see how this is possible. Watch a YouTube video..lots of tricks shown there. THEY WORK AWESOME. I have been paid or given free items for this review!. .

I've been using electric rollers for years and was a little nervous about trying something new. Now I wish I had discovered this sooner! I love it. I have very fine, flyaway hair that won't hold a curl. With this product, my curls stay in all day, much better than anything else I have tried. I like feeling like I am not frying my hair. And I don't burn my fingers on the curlers (although you do need to keep your fingers away from the steam). Also, the clips stay on better than any I've used, and they are more comfortable. I would like to address a comment I've seen in other reviews about this product taking time. That is completely false. It takes way less time than a curling iron and actually less time than any electric rollers I've used. One secret to keeping it moving is this: place the next roller on the steam BEFORE you finish clipping the current roller into place. That way you aren't standing there counting seconds between rollers. With a little practice you can figure out the perfect moment to place the next curler on the steam. I am now a fan and give it an A+!

I needed to show these rollers some love. I had set these aside for a while because I thought it took too much effort. Fast forward about 18 months, my hair was damaged and frail from over-styling with heat and products, pinning it up in a bun etc.... I decided to revisit these rollers and I'm glad I did. The best part of these rollers is that they actually improve the quality of my hair. Gently infusing steam lets my leave-in penetrate better and gives my hair awesome shine and bounce, something I thought not possible because my hair was damaged. I added a tablespoon of argan oil and a few ounces of rose water to the steamer and WOW, the results are amazing. I run some diluted vinegar through it after to prevent build up in the steamer. My hair is thick, shoulder length, longer in front and shorter in back, I use about 12-15 rollers, the large and medium seem to give me the best result. I have body, bounce and shine. Super happy with these old school steam setting curlers. It treats my hair gently and improved the condition of my hair. I will upload a before/after picture if I'm able to show the results.

I love this! I have tried hot rollers in the past and couldn't really get my hair to look great or get them to work. These are fantastic. I have pretty fine hair and when I would curl it with just a curling iron I'd have to spray my hair with hairspray to get the curls to stay, which felt like I was just damaging my hair. With this I did spray in some thermal protection stuff first, but I love how natural my hair felt when I took these rollers out. The curl lasts all day and my hair is still soft. To use this I just had to steam each curler for like 10 seconds and then roll my hair. I then held the cover for the curler over the steam to get that a little hot and clipped it in place. After all of the curlers are in, just wait like 15-20 minutes, take out and your hair will be curly. If you need to be ready faster you can just keep them in for like 10 minutes and then blow dry over them for a few minutes.

Amazing product. My hair is baby fine but full. I have a A LOT OF baby-fine hair which makes it somewhat heavy -- medium length past shoulders. All other products failed to hold a curl. I have tried wet set with Velcro rollers; hot rollers; curling iron; and flat iron; with and without setting products. This product held a curl. The second day curl remained, but relaxed. I read reviews from other users and frankly do not understand what they could be doing wrong that made the product so difficult to use. Obviously they never had to sleep on brush rollers as a teenager. How to use it seems self explanatory and very basic. 1. Washed hair 2. Dried hair 3. Applied steamed curlers without using a setting product in my hair 4. Used hair dryer with attached cap for approx 10 to 15 minutes (could have used and extra 5 or 10 minutes) Hair was perfect. This is not a product to use before work, it is too timely, I work out of my home.

I bought this to try instead of using flat iron or curlers. I was super skeptical because my hair is not cooperative many times. I watched YouTube videos to see tricks and how to use (Do It!!) and this was my 1st run. It worked awesome! I used the jumbo rollers to get beachy wave look. It was easy, no problem at all. I also did on my daughter's stringy shoulder length hair, worked awesome! Don't put silkers or products in hair to smooth as it may prevent good curls.
