I saw a YouTube video where a dude cleaned WeatherTech mats, and used this stuff to bring them back to their original shiny black, without making them slick, like a lot of products do. I thought I'd give it a try. It worked great! Highly recommend this stuff! Now, I use this stuff instead of Armor All for my car interior. It's great!

Just got a new truck and I wanted to protect the exterior black plastic. I spent hours reading reviews. Most products I found were focused on renewing the look of black plastic. But, I was looking for something to protect and maintain only. I purchased Stoner Trim Shine Protectant and a couple other products to compare. First of all, regardless of which product you use you will need to get the plastic trim clean before you add a protectant. I used a general degreaser and followed up with rubbing alcohol. When the plastic was completely dry I began applying the Stoner product. I tried spraying it on a rag to wipe it on but the product evaporates fairly quickly. So I switched and sprayed the plastic trim directly. You will get some overspray but if your car is clean and waxed it will wipe off with a dry clean towel. The product seems to get absorbed into the plastic in a matter of seconds. If you use too much it will run (which wipes off easily). Now the results are a nice black shine. Its NOT a fake looking black like my step mother's died black hair. And the shine is NOT greasy, it is more of a matte finish. Aside from how nice it makes the plastic look, I really like the protection. The treated plastic is very slick. Its kind of like a Calphalon non-stick skillet. For the most part bugs don't stick to it. And the few bugs that do stick clean off easily. The protection seems to hold up to rain fairly well. I plan on applying this product to my truck around once a month. It only takes a few minutes. One can will treat my very large truck twice. I would imagine a can would treat a normal sized car about four or five times if you don't over use.

This aerosol version of Trim Shine is excellent. It's easy to apply in small spaces like door jambs where it shines the black wiring coverings or engine hoses that are difficult to reach. The product leaves no residue or visual sign of over-spray. My car also has a black egg crate grill section and it's perfect for spraying on that section of grill. Trim Shine aerosol can cover all the egg crate surfaces in one easy pass.

I watched some youtube video how to detail your engine and after i washed it i used this product on the main engine area for a shine/protection. I have a 2011 vehicle that goes by gravel a lot and this thing makes my engine look almost new. I also used it on my weather tech floor mats after i washed them. They are 6 years old and look brand new again. Note the mat was slippery/slick for first few days but now the texture is normal and looks very shiny.

I saw a pro car detailer working his magic on very nice but dirty, neglected car MANY years ago and asked if I could watch what he did to make it look new again. I had never heard of Stoner products before but he showed me how after washing he just uses this Stoner “Trim Shine” for all exterior plastic trim and ALL plastic and rubber (basically EVERY surface) under the hood , “Wheel Cleaner” for rims then “More Shine“ for the tires, and finally a good micro fiber towel with “Trim Cleaner” for all plastic surfaces (dash, doors, etc...) in the interior. I tried them and will never buy the overpriced “BIG Name” brands for these auto surfaces again! AMAZING Stuff!!!... and not expensive. (PS: I much prefer the spray can versions of these if available as they spray much more quick and evenly than spray bottles, and the wipes eventually dry up if not used for a while.) Thanks Stoner!!!

I am a female in my late 60's, and like my vehicle to look good no matter what its age is....inside and out. I am generally the car detail person in the household, so therefore have tried a lot of products: from upholstery shampoo, to tire shine, to moulding revival. I have tried a lot of products to have the black moulded bumpers and trim on our Honda to look "good" but never expecting "Great". I purchased "1" can of this a year ago, and cleanded the vehicle inside and out. After waxing the vehicle, I sprayed the bumpers and door trims, and I was truly amazed at not only how new it looked, but how long it lasted. I have tried several products over the years, but this beats them all, and it lasts several months. I ordered more from Amazon, a 12 pack. I used it again this summer, and a friend of a neighbour asked if we had the vehicle painted, so not only is the car another year older, it still looks "that good". You won't be sorry if you purchase this and use it on your black trim, it makes it look new! Give it a try for yourself, I can't imagine anyone not being happy with the results. I also watched a Youtube video on the product, and there is a water based interior spray for your interior and dash. They say there is more control over the shine with the water based, for some don't like a shiny dash. I personally don't, so may purchase the pump spray bottle in water based. I definitely give this 5 stars *****

I actually got my first 3 cans of Trim Shine by mistake. I had ordered their sap remover and got the Trim Shine. Amazon in their great ways said to just keep them rather than shipping them back. Well turned out to be a very good thing. This stuff is amazing for doing exterior plastics. No so good on the inside because it is difficult to control the spray. Engine compartments are it's true 'shine'. It does an incredible job of cleaning and protecting nearly everything under the hood. Much better than the armor stuff in this area. I just bought 6 more cans.

As a professional Auto Detailing company we're constantly on the search for the best products for our customers. The search is over for trim dressing. Stoners in the aerosol can is amazing. We use it on tires also. Great product and we love it. Cadillac Auto Detailing & Ceramic Coatings. Cadillac MI

I learned about this on a youtube video - it's a great FAST way to clean dash, console and door panels . Spray it on, heavily is ok, and wipe off with a microfiber towel. Makes the whole cable look great in 3 minutes

I use this to clean Weathertech Floor Liner and the result is Amazing! Wash floor liner with soap or degreaser, dry and spray away. It does not leave a slippery feel which is important.
