When you use a Kreg Jig, these are a must have. You should only use screws with a flat head, otherwise you wont get the same quality connection as the screw head sinks further into the wood. Compared to other screws at the home center, those are not that much more. These are great for 3/4 and 4/4 stock

Kraft products are amazing; after installing thousands of these on a myriad of products, I have yet to strip one. Also, the screws hold exceptionally well and, when the project is clamped properly, the screws snug up and don't give any ground when the clamps are removed. Tight, tight seams. No compromise with these screws.

Started using quite a bit of 3/4" Hardwood Plywood (Birch mostly). Plan to get in to more cabinet making and needed a box that would last me longer than week :) Not sure this review will help anyone, since if you are seeking this Kreg screw, you already know what its for! Plan to get the 5,000+ box next. Going through 500 quicker than I had anticipated!

If you know what this is, chances are you don't need me to tell you how good a product this is. If you don't then when you buy your Kreg pocket hole jig, then buy a box of these with it. Maybe the most common sized screw you will need.

Using a Kreg jig for assembling cabinets and shelves produces very strong construction. Some purists don't like to use fasteners and poo-poo the use of pocket holes and screws. I'm not one of those people. When I run out, I will buy again. Don't hesitate, they are worth the price.

I've used pocket holes for a giant 12-foot cabinet in my living room that came out looking great. We're currently going through the garage-shop, building cabinets full of drawers to get all the tools and hardware away from the sawdust. Just built a long sitting workbench for my wife to work on the lathe, where she makes pens. I've used other pocket-hole screws, though not many. What got me to rely on Kreg's screws was simple. They are reliable, and they don't cost a lot, especially in volume. I'd purchased a number of 100-count boxes before, but finally decided it was time to commit. I'll probably need two more 500-count boxes before I'm done with my shop cabinets.

Big Kreg Jig fan. If you know the product you know it works great. You probably aren't looking for these screws if you aren't already familiar with the jigs in general. I like this screw pack because they are "authentic" kreg jig product, not a knock off and they are WAAAYYY cheaper this way than buying from Home Depot or Lowes. I go through a lot of screws so this helps keep my costs down.

I use my Kreg jig with almost every home building project and I love it. I needed more screws, so here they are! I actually really like these screws, I am a fan of the square driver, it doesn't slip near as much as Philips or Flat head, so sometimes I use these just for everyday screws too.

I find Kreg screws to be excellent. I have never had the head of a Kreg screw break off, and the square drive hole is nearly impossible to strip out; although, I have managed it a time or two. These course screws enter the wood very quickly and will need a pilot hole in many applications in spite of the "drill it while it screws itself in" point. I have split a number of pieces of wood with these screws and often use the fine screws instead to prevent splits. Good in particle board, but not on the ends. You MUST drill a good sized pilot hole to prevent these screws from splitting out the particle board. They are superb in pocket hole applications. AD2

These 1.25" square drive screws work just they are advertised. These are for soft woods, you'll need the fine thread screws for hard wood. Also, drill the hardwood to prevent splinting.
