Excellent nonpermanent Threadlocker
I build small mechanical stuff that needs to be taken apart for repair but is subject to high vibration and shock. This stuff is great and much better value than Loctite 242. There is a caution however. Don't use this on brass inserts in plastic as it eats plastic and it ate away the rubber mounts where I put it on the bolt threads of the shock mounts so be sparing and careful around those materials but overall it works great and is easy to apply and use.

Car repair made easy
The screw on the sunshade in my car kept coming unscrewed. The screw wasn't stripped but I think the hole somehow got slightly enlarged. After much research into how to fix the problem, I stumbled on this product. Just applied a strip of the threadlocker to the screw and screwed it back in. No more problem!

GREAT PRODUCT - NEW WAY TO APPLY THE THREADLOCKER TO A BOLT OR SCREW.
Product is a great product which works. Can't say more about it EXCEPT that I thought I'd share my "discovery" when using the threadlocker. In my case, I needed to have some length in order to reach the screw in a deep, narrow space. Remembering that I had bought some small gauge blunt tip needles (bought on Amazon) for use in filing some small plastic bottles for another purpose, I thought that one of the needles might fit on the nozzle in the tip of the Permatex threadlocker bottle. Lo and behold! it did fit closely enough to be able to use the needle to deliver a very precise amount of threadlocker to the screw. Actually, it delivered just a small drop of threadlocker without having any waste. I haven't checked to see if the threadlocker would clog the needle afterwards since I have an abundance of the needles but, my guess is that if I put some isopropyl alcohol into a syringe (which I also have) and flush out the needle afterwards that the needle could be used endlessly.

It's threadlocker duh....never used before ask a Q
Works great just like always. If you have never used this before don't hesitate to purchase this if you need it. I used it on some screws for my washing machine that needed to be sealed and thread locked as the old screws were. Went in fine and no issues or walkbacks on the screws.

You will not have a loose screw!
The product does exactly what it says it will do, it locks down threads without cementing the screws in for life. I needed to set some tiny metal screws into polycarbonate. The screws were constantly unthreading and I did not want to have to torque them down at 75 lbs. The smallest drop of the Permatex kept them in place, and when I needed to remove one screw for a sample in order to get more of them, it backed out with the expected amount of pressure. I have since used this on door hinges that tend to come loose and the problem has gone away. Good job Permatex!

This stuff just works
I use this all the time for scopes and accessories mounted on guns. Works very well, nothing has backed out on me. When you take something off that had this stuff on the threads, there will be a white crumbly residue left over. Just use a tooth brush or something to wipe it away, and it'll be like new. This stuff just works.

Great product!
I have used this for years and love this product. Of course you have to be careful and know what you are doing. some bolts are not intended to be locked in for a long time. But for those areas where you need a bolt to stay put, this stuff is great!

Really the best bargain you can get on this sort of stuff… ...
Really the best bargain you can get on this sort of stuff… Most tubes are just a fraction of the amount in this container… I cannot recommend this high enough… Especially if you find you use it fairly often. Remember, for this brand: Blue is for when you may need to remove the screw later… Red version is much more permanent.

This is the best brand, in my experience
every house should have a tube of threadlocker. This is the best brand, in my experience. We used it to secure decorative cabinet pulls, but I know it will get much more use as time goes on. Anything that is threaded can be locked with this stuff. It is not a glue, and you can easily unscrew anything that is thread-locked, but it will never jar loose on its own.

This is an AGELESS super product for any garage or toolbox!
This Permatex blue thread locker has been around for many years and is a must have in any garage and vital part of any toolbox. Just a little dab will work to cover the tip of any bolt or screw where vibration is critical. Any minor excess will be squeezed to the threaded part of any bolt or screw after application and tightening. I specifically use this medium thread locker on starter bolts but there are many other uses as well where vibrations and repeated bumps or shock may loosen any bolt, screw or nut, a little over time. Keep just a little tube as this product will dry over time, so use very sparingly.
