Great product! Best brand of beads to melt. Keeps our kids busy for hours!!

First time ever doing perler bead projects. Used beads to make cake toppers for my kid’s birthday. Great color selection and good value. I recommend that before you start your project, you go to the dollar store and pick up a roll of parchment paper and a roll of painter’s masking tape. Once you have finished putting your beads how you want them, go over them with the masking tape overlapping sections as you go. Make sure to burnish the tape with the back of a spoon. This will allow you to lift your creation off of the board. It will save your boards.

If you buy each bag of colors in this jug you will spend way more then the cost of it. However you have to have a lot of patience and some time if you save cost. I got this jug to cut cost on birthday favors my daughter wanted to make for her birthday guests. It can seam a little daunting at first but I dumped a good amount of beads into a large raised edge cookie sheet and sorted them into quart sized freezer bags. We have since made Disney Princesses, Pokemon, and shapes for my toddler to identify each one in a different color for added learning. The level of detail you can go into with the more shades you have amazes me.

Great price for so many beads, I checked the local retail and craft stores and their prices couldn't compare. Course being an Amazon Prime member I get free shipping, which helps to keep the price below the local stores. I don't think I will be buying any more for some time with this large amount of beads. They melt beautifully every time. Plus each of the different colors seem to have equal amounts.

After my daughter started using these for scouts, we decided to purchase a big jar for ourselves for the summer and one for our school's kindergarten. It was a fun activity for her and older cousins on our vacation. The kindergarten teacher was delighted and plans to set up a fuse beads, but immediately saw their potential as a fine motor activity. The 11,000 container is a great deal, and purchasing them through Supermart made it an even better bargain.

These are awesome for kids Melty bead projects. My son, 7, will sit for hours and craft with these. They are great for fine motor exercise and much better than the knock off brand. These consistently melt and are all the same size and height. I wouldn't get the cheaper brand. The cheaper brand is awful when it comes time to melt them. These are the best!

I got these for my 5 yo daughter. I had these as a kid and always loved them, great for practicing fine motor skills. We usually bring them out as a quiet activity while my youngest naps. My daughter loves seeing her final product after we have ironed it and placed it on a key chain. She likes to gift them as well. Comes with a great variety of colors and shades. Check pinterest for design ideas!

All five of my grandchildren love doing these - so do I and their moms. They are ages 4 to 13. The 13 year old researched flags from all over the world and made about 20 last summer at our lake house. The 6year old made about 10 different colored Jack-O- and the two girls lots of hearts and interesting designs. What I find nice about this activity is that weare taking to o e another about a variety of subjects and it is very much a time to connect on a deeper level with kids who these days are so connected to technology and sports.

My daughter (5) loves these beads. She is very artistic and crafty, and can spend at least thirty minutes a day working on the beads. She loves making different animals/shapes with peg template accessories and gifting her creations to friends and family. My eight year old is mildly interested, but he is not into crafts and art -- the only "art" he likes is LEGO art. (He has made minecraft swords and pickaxes with the beads that he thinks are super cool). Great gift idea for any child who likes crafting, but the beads are super small for adult fingers, and require dexterity (can buy tweezers for the beads, but we haven't). Children younger than 4 or 5 may have trouble handling the beads. One user hint -- if possible, put the craft together on an iron-friendly surface. We create at a granite bar and iron on the same so the beads don't come off the pegs in transit.

Great price for 11000 beads. Just need to spend hours to solving the perler beads.Great for beginners. If you need to do project I suggest puchase individual colours that you really need.
