Perfect fit
Just what I'd been looking for to keep the toilets clean. The material and design of this seat will enable harsher cleaners, necessary to disinfect 99.9% of germs, to disinfect without damaging the seat finish. The description of this does need to be updated because there is NO COVER that comes with them. That could cause an issue with false advertisement if not rectified soon. Otherwise, excellent product.

Rock solid, comfortable, foolproof installation, and VERY affordable...can't ask for more than that.
The seat is solid, easy to clean, and turns out to be the same used by many public restrooms, hence the commercial designation...and you know they need something durable. A feature that really drew me to this seat, beyond the excellent affordabililty, is the way it attachs in such a safe and secure way....safe, because the bolt mechanism is designed to give way when you applied enough torque to properly bolt it into place. Over torquing is a bad idea, especially when it comes to porcelain. The only potential drawback with this seat is if you really require a lid. For myself, the lack of a lid is actually a plus, and the few times I'm concerned about the lack of a lid, I've got an appropriate sized piece of thick cardboard that will make sure nothing falls in the commode that doesn't belong. The cardboard even serves as a makeshift table if I've got some sort of project going on.

I would buy again
My boss disapproved so now it sits unused (no pun intended). We will eventually use it when the men's room in the other building needs a new seat. It's cheap, what can I say, but it WORKS FOR WHAT IT'S USED FOR...why you need something better is beyond me based on what you're doing when you're using it...

I think I like this
My toilet looks a little weird because this doesn't have a lid. This lid is plastic but it feels solid it doesn't flop around. The way the hinge attaches to the toilet is smart so that combined with the open front and lack of lid should make it really easy to clean. Maybe I just have a flat bum, but the contour of the seat is a little deeper than I'd like.

Comfortable, economical, sturdy toilet seats
We replaced the household toilet seats in 10 of our men's room stalls with these Bemis commercial toilet seats. They are industrial strength, have a sturdy fastening system, are simple to clean and they are easy and comfortable to sit on. Basic but very good. So far, several weeks after installation, none of them have been broken, and believe me, some of our employees seem to work on that sometimes. We now inventory a few of these.

Very Cleanable and Solid
Very simple, nice seat. This is really easy to clean because it has a minimal amount of edges underneath and they are all nicely rounded. It's heavy duty (solid core), which helps it be more cleanable and durable. It is curved, so it contours to ones posterior. As such it's very comfortable, but... perhaps one might not want that for a public restroom?

Better fitting
This doesn't have a lid, but works for me. I'm built a bit on the wide side, so find the full circle small toilet seats uncomfortable, and have a small bathroom where the larger size toilet isn't possible. This allows me to sit comfortably. It is hard to find the smaller sized commercial version. But it is also easier to clean and stays put - the attachment hardware works well.

Perfect for big guys.
These toilet seats are great. I don't know why I didn't try a commercial type of toilet seat before now. Our toilet seats kept breaking and cracking. Replacing them was becoming rather expensive and annoying. So far this one has held up like a dream.

Easy to install
We paid just under thirty dollars for this seat. Between the quality and what I consider to be a fair price, I would recommend this to family and friends - therefore 5 stars. I notice that the price is cheaper today, so it might be one of those items that fluctuates in price a lot - so keep an eye on it & get a better deal than I did :-) This seat was a bear to install, due to tight spot that our toilet stool is located in. In addition, we have a different type of stool - that is all one piece in design rather than the detachable tank with stool, so there was no room for my husband to work. He tried, said some bad words, & gave up. I'm pretty hand, but have never installed a toilet seat before, but figured I might as well try. After all, I had all of the necessary qualities I'm tiny, so I could fit in the work space (although it was a bit claustrophobic) and I have tiny hands that could fit in the concealed space that the plastic nuts would have to go in order to go on the bolts. My husband was in a bit of a mood, so I watched the video on Amazon. Honestly, this job is pretty self-explanatory, but I watched the video just so I wouldn't have to squeeze into the workplace twice if it turned out that I couldn't figure it out. This was a easy job. In our case, it was a challenge, because of the tight area, but the install itself was a snap. Anybody can do this. I am happy with the seat & can't hope noticing that it, so far, has no 'wobble'. I would like to point out that we installed this in a bathroom that my son (a lid-slammer) uses for doing his business and then washing his hands. Because it comes with no lid (which is what we wanted), it would probably not be sanitary to install this seat in a restroom where toothbrushes, bath towels, etc. are kept out in the open - toilets tend to distribute a fine mist in your bathroom when flushed. We are happy with our purchase (paid around 28 dollars) of the black seat. It is heavy (literally - it has some serious weight to it) & appears durable. We chose black, because my son has disabilities that result in him being messy in the restroom (which is why he has his own bathroom) & is on medication that can cause stains - we're hoping the black seat will not stain or at least not show stains as much as the white ones we've had in the past have. I'm sorry if this is too much info for those of you that this doesn't apply to, but I felt obligated to mention it, because there may be those out there that are struggling with similar issues & frequent replacement of toilet seats drains the wallet after a while. Happy with purchase. If we have any problems, I'll be sure to update. Otherwise, you can assume that we found this to be stain-resistant, durable, long-lasting, & not wobbly. Update: We have not had to tighten this seat up (after several months), which is extremely unusual for seats used by my son. My son tends to 'plop' down - he can't lower himself gently with his disabilities. A handicap rail helps slow him down, but he still manages to rough up his seats. In addition, my husband used this seat (other bathroom was out of commission for a couple of days) and my husband (who has gained back all of the weight that he'd managed to lose) commented that this seat was comfortable for him. This is coming from a man who has been insisting that someone must have moved the arms on his dining room chair closer together and that the car seat somehow shrank. So, it evidently works well for big guys.

Great as a bariatric toilet seat
I was replacing toilet seats in my first floor bathroom at least twice a year until I bought this commercial toilet seat. This seat has now lasted over three years with no problem except an occasional tightening. I don't know why this seat isn't promoted more as a bariatric toilet seat. I have a family member who weighs in excess of 500 pounds and uses this every day without issue. This is a great purchase for anyone with similar problems.
