An absolute MUST for Eagle gas cans.

I was getting tired of the gas always spilling from my Eagle gas cans. Even if I had a funnel in the tank I was pouring the gas into, the gas would still spill from the can before getting to the funnel. This Poly Funnel is the solution. I have not spilled any gas since using this funnel and the fact that it mates to the can means I have two hands to pour instead of one hand on a funnel and the other hand holding the gas. Works with the several Eagle cans I own and I am kicking myself for not having one much earlier. My only complaint with my high quality and well built Eagle gas cans is no more thanks to this funnel. It is a very specific but necessary funnel...

I bought a 5 gallon safety can awhile ago and the original funnel is still going strong. I purchased another in the event that one fails or is lost. Not much else to say about it---it is a funnel after all. But if you happen to purchase a safety can(with or without the funnel), please understand the funnel makes pouring from the can incredibly easy. No spills, no mess. I want to also add I have had encounters with others that did not understand the funnel needs to be removed to fill---I guess they tried to fill it with the funnel in place? Yes, the funnel can be difficult to remove because of the tabs but it is nowhere near impossible. If you have trouble removing it, add a lubricant to the bottom half of the part that seats on the can. A tiny amount of oil or even paste wax should do the trick.

IF YOU BOUGHT THE 1 GAL EAGLE UI-10 GAS OR 5 GAL UI-50 SAFETY CAN, YOU NEED A FUNNEL

I originally bought the Eagle UI-10-S Red Galvanized Steel Type I Gas Safety Can, 1 gallon Capacity, 8" Height, 9" Diameter back in December, opting not to purchase the funnel. And, unless you have another funnel or means to prevent spilling when pouring from it, you really need this Eagle F-15 Funnel, which is specifically designed for Eagle's 1 & 5 gallon cans. Don't get me wrong, the Galvanized Steel Type I Gas Safety Can is a great product, it's just very difficult to pour without some of the gas running down the side of the can, unless you're using a funnel. If you're going to spend the money to buy the can—buy it with the funnel. I finally bought it and it works perfectly!

Makes Pouring Gas in Lawnmower Easier

I ordered this as an add-on item, because I have trouble putting gas in my lawnmower without a funnel. It was a bit difficult to wrestle the funnel onto the neck of the steel gas can, but since I did that, fueling the mower has become much easier. I gave the product 3 stars for sturdiness, but if it was much sturdier, getting it on the gas can would be more difficult. I really don't know don't know how durable it will be, but I am satisfied with my purchase.

Odd little attachment necessary for my old gas can

The old spout for my gas can was lost in the debris when a tree fell on my garage. Was so happy to find this replacement. It is a little difficult to install because of the tight spring on the can lid. Once installed it worked just fine. Glad to be able to use this can again.

Fits safety style gas cans perfect to easily pour gas and fill tanks

This will keep you from pouring gas all over the place while trying to fill your tanks. I keep it store in a plastic bag when I 'm not using it so I don't pour dust and dirt into the tank while filling. this is a must have.

Quick and easy poor. Good design.

I've had this 5 gal red can for about 8 months. Yes it has a plastic handle but its strong. The funnel comes on and off with little effort. Its quick and easy to poor, it doesn't take 10 minutes to fill a tank like the other poorly designed cans Ive tried since the new ideotic safety feature requirements came out. I just purchased the yellow can now that yellow paint has come down in cost.

Not OEM, but possibly even better for the price.

This plastic is a brighter yellow and much more flexible than the original funnel. I don’t mind as the original funnel’s stiffness = brittleness when it ages. The new one is plenty strong, the right fit, and the flex is acceptable when wrestling it on and off the gas can.

Never knew these existed!

I love my metal gas can, but I spilled a lot of fuel filling my lawn mower. This item solved that problem. Works as advertised without any problems. Highly recommend.

Great funnel

If you have an old metal eagle gas can and want a funnel that attaches to it, this is for you. Attaches easy, doesn't leak and makes using the can, especially if you have a large can, easy to use.
