Great oven / food warmer for our camper and solar system
As of right now i have only turned it on and checked it out. Seems to pull a load of around 6 amps on our MPPT controller, heats up quick and I have attached pictures for the measurements, and placed a cordless phone for size comparison

Love it. Great unit. Reallly enjoying it
I’m on the road a lot and spend all day in my truck. I used to love eating out, trying new places, lunch trucks and the like but after 20 years of it I needed a change in lifestyle. A new job and a kid on the way to college gave me the impetus to change some habbits and look for ways to save some money. I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I have, but I can honestly say I look forward to using it. You can cook rice, pasta, anything you can think of. It seals tight so it’s more like a steamer than an oven, so you can’t toast bread with it but if you understand slow cookers (it’s not that slow, the thing really heats up) you get the idea. I make meals ahead and freeze them, or toss in leftovers using the aliminium trays glass food storage containers that fit perfectly. I used to spend $20-30 a day on food away from my house. I used to cook professionally in some rather upscale places so I like the good stuff. I’m guessing in the first month I saved over $500. It draws a lot of juice so be careful. Leave it plugged in without the car running and you will drain your battery quickly. Also, forget about a transformer. You can get an ac model for cheaper than the cost of something that will work. 144 Watts is a pretty big draw.

Regular use since 2009. Still going strong! (lunch ideas in review)
I use this portable oven at least 3 days a week and have for almost 10 years now. If it broke and it cost 200 bucks to replace it I wouldn't think twice. My wife make homemade "hot pockets" for this so basically better tasting hot pockets with organic ingredients that have the benefit of not causing explosive diarrhea. She makes the bread from scratch but it can also be done with Rhoads bread dough. Rise the bread some, pre cook the ingredients, add to the bread with cheese etc. Fold, roll, rise again and bake. Then they get wrapped in foil and go into the freezer for a quick, daily on the go lunch. Philly cheesesteak, Buffalo chicken with blue cheese crumbles, Italian with mozzarella and jalepenos, meatball, sausage cheese and cabbage.... There's a big basket of these in the freezer with a never ending mix of her culinary brilliance. They're thawed on my dash by lunch time and 30 minutes later in this little oven and I've got hot lunch! I highly recommend this oven and finding a wife that will go to the effort of making excellent lunches to fit in it. It took me three tries (for the wife). If only they came with user reviews like this oven I wouldn't have lost 2 houses and hundreds of thousands of dollars in my search for perfection....

one happy trucker
It really gets old eating fast food while out on the road.I'm a trucker and thats all they have in most travel centers. On Christmas my girlfriend got me this, and its the best gift I could have gotten. This is a tackle box stove, and its mainly a food warmer. This will get pretty hot also, and after plugged in for only 10 minutes the bottom plate has plenty of heat.I can pull into a rest area, throw some hot pockets or burritos in it.Then head down the road and then pull over and have lunch in about an hour. This stove saves me a whole lot of money as well,as i really don't have a need to eat out when I'm on the road.In the morning i can put some sausage biscuits in it and in 30 min. there piping hot.As for dinner i can warm up leftover pizza, lasagna, soups, or pretty much any frozen food and it comes out great. If theres any negative thing to this stove,I'm not sure what it would be.Its prefect for a someone running solo or a team.So if you want to eat healthier on the road or just to be able to bring some real good food with you, this would be the item to have. UPDATE 4/11- I need to to let people know i am still enjoying my stove.I'm able to pull over put my food in my stove, and about an hour later its done.I was getting burned out on hotpockets,so found other great things to cook.miniature pizzas for 45 min.(butches pizza) work great in this, you might need to trim it though.Chicken wings for 60 min.(walgreens premade)work great in this too,and a nice treat for me.campbells chucky soups for 60-90 min. using loaf pans lined with foil, our great to have as well.I like the clam chowder & chicken gumbo sausage soups.BBQ sandwiches work great in this too,i buy lloyds premade pork for 45 min.,and a package of buns and i'm set for the week.Mozzarella sticks & cheddar poppers for 45 min.our a nice treat as well. This stove really saves me a whole lot of money and being a long distance trucker,it gives me a chance to have something decent when i'm gone.

Fantastic way to eat healthier & save money!! Pays for itself!
I bought this for my husband & son who commute together. They leave early & want a hot breakfast sandwich, but are not ready to eat first thing in the morning. I make bagel sandwiches (egg, sausage or whatever) for the week & freeze them wrapped in parchment or freezer paper & foil (complaints that the foil in direct contact w/the food left a tinny taste). This unit fits two large bagel sandwiches perfectly and heats them from frozen in just over an hour, turning them once about half way. With a little trial & error this has worked fantasticly for them...not to mention economical! It has easily paid for itself! We have had no fuse issues, as others have mentioned. We have a 20015 Nissan Rogue. Their only minor complaints...The cord fits very tightly in its compartment (though it's a nice bonus to have the compartment at all). Also, when driving alone it's a bit of a nuisance to plug & unplug it. It would be convenient if it could be left plugged in & have an on/off switch. I think we will buy a second one for my other son who commutes in another direction. Besides, we wouldn't be able to fit a third sandwich in one unit. We do not use any sort of liner, but the sandwiches are thoroughly wrapped. Occasionally it necessitates a wipe-out with a damp cloth. No trouble at all. We highly recommend this!

Still working after 9 months of daily use.
Reliable. Works as intended. Home cooked meals stored in vacuum-sealed packaging allows traveling spouse to consume nutritious meals every day. Have heated the frozen/thawed precooked meals such as chili/spaghetti, meatloaf, vegetable casserole, soups, stews, vegetables, borscht, and steel-cut oats. Previously-frozen omelet mixtures cook quickly in vacuum bags. Follow instructions and add water to bottom of oven to distribute heat evenly.

Very pleased! See pictures.
Very pleased! See pictures. Heats faster and without burning food by adding approx 1/4" water filled with 3 inexpensive and disposable mini loaf foil pans (3.19W x 5.63D x 1.95H in). Fold top corners of mini foil pans to make a more rectangular shape to fit 3 in compartment. Could stack more on top (veggies, bread). I would heat for about 20-30 minutes until steam comes out and unplug. Food stays warm and without burning. See pictures. Plug will feel hot. Not the cord. So far, no issues. I've been using it for about 8 months.

This 12v oven works! Great for solar cooking!
We use this 12v oven running off our solar set up almost daily now since we received it about a month and a half ago. It works great, saves us money, and it gets HOT!! We have installed a dedicated 15 amp 12 volt accessory port in our solar system to handle its load so we won't experience burned out fuses or melted adapters. It easily reaches 300F and cooks food nearly as fast at a regular oven. We have used it to cook canned foods, and raw vegetables. I am certain you can cook anything in this oven if it will fit. I was worried that it would performer like a crock pot as a lot of 12 volt item tend to under-perform compared to their 120v counterparts, but was pleasantly surprise to see it ramp up to 300F in no time! It take a touch longer than a standard toaster oven if it is filled to the max, but it can cook a full tin of raw sliced vegetables & potatoes in roughly 45 minutes with no preheating. In fact as I type this, a tray of chopped vegetables is cooking. Pros: Real 12v oven Energy efficient Cord caddy built in side. Large internal oven area. Easy to clean aluminum interior. Thermostat controlled. LED power light. Cons: Cord gets warm on initial warm up, it should be thicker wire. After initial warm up it cools down. not a big deal but concerning at first. Might blow fuses in some vehicles. UPDATED 5/19/17: Oven still works great after cooking countless meals. I have attached a picture of it cooking some broccoli and sliced garlic which is running off our solar set up.

This oven may be one of our fav purchases ever as he can now eat a hot lunch instead of the boring salad or sandwich
Purchased for hubby who is always on the road. It has earned its value 100x over. He loves it! We purchased silicon tupperware that just fit inside the oven instead of using disposables. He uses it DAILY for lunch re-heats. He can also 'cook' - season raw fish with vegetables in the morning and cook as he drives. This oven may be one of our fav purchases ever as he can now eat a hot lunch instead of the boring salad or sandwich. Hubby avoids take out ($$$$) and any food with additives/preservatives, etc. There is a learning curve with putting this in the best place in your car to avoid tip over from driving, stopping, road conditions. On the plus side, we've learned that it cleans well! =P We read that it takes about 45 minutes to reach 300 degrees and find that to be pretty accurate. I recommend the mini-oven to anyone who will listen.
