While the dried version does not have the same flavor ...
While the dried version does not have the same flavor impact as fresh zest it is a boon to have in the kitchen for when you just do not have an orange and do not want to go to the store in the middle of baking to get one.

Great in Blueberry Muffins
I make homemade blueberry muffins and I like to put this orange peel into my muffins. It works well for that. I usually just buy this at the grocery store but it was easy to add into one of my orders.

Convenience of Amazon and pricing comparable to local grocers.
Use dried orange peel in so many things, from marinades to pie fillings and spice rubs. I do freeze zest from fresh citrus as well, but thiis is a very convenient backup.

Exactly what I was looking for
Seems to be a hard to find product during any time other than the holidays. Great taste and a pleasant surprise for my guests.

POP!!!
I LUV THIS STUFF!!!!! I have used this on fish and fowl and the burst of flavor it lite and lasts just long enough to make the flavors of each pop! When sprinkled on fresh muffins the flavor combines with poppy, blue, carrot, apple and really makes the flavor unique!!!! It also does the same with vanilla cupcakes with White frosting REALLY GOOD!!

Another Indispensable Item
Another great indispensable item to have in your kitchen. I love the smell of fresh oranges but sometimes, they are not readily available. So in these cases - you will definitely want this. I've used this in a lot of recipes requiring orange peel or oranges and even substituted it for lemon peels and it is just as good. I also mix this with tea leaves in a coffee filter and then brew in the coffee maker to make orange infused tea. Just a little of this goes a long way.

I love this the best!
McCormick Orange Peel is my favorite because it's finer......little bits of goodness in my muffins and cakes! Recommended. Thank you.

Outstanding orange peel- very tiny pieces
Worked great for Swedish Limpa bread- I just soaked a teaspoon of dry peel in a couple of teaspoons of water, then drained after it had rehydrated. Worked great, and much easier than doing a lot of orange zest (I did some, but my hands are a big gimpy for larger quantities). Lovely flavor.

Love it!
Perfect for lazy people who don't want to grate oranges. Or for idiots for constantly forget to buy the oranges. But seriously, who always has oranges standing by for zesting? This came in a three pack which means everything I make from here out will be . . Zesty!
