Sassy and Unique

I am so happy with this purchase. It is sturdy with a bit of weight. Easy to hold and it looks delicate and sassy. I have 2 other sets of martini glasses - a more expensive Marquis set, and a short martini set ... I have a picture with all my glasses together with this one. I am telling you... this doesn’t look $18 to me. I don’t think men will use this though, just saying. My BF uses a short martini glass to make his whiskey sour. Lol. Have no idea why I can’t post pictures though :(

good glasses, good price, good gift

My husband recently discovered martinis, possibly a by product of chain watching Mad Men episodes on Netflix. We didn't have a shaker; he used a Tupperware gravy thickening shaker, not exactly right for the job. Valentine's Day was upcoming, bought him these glasses & a shaker. I can't drink all alcohol drinks so I looked at single, fancy glasses. They were all too girly and $$$. One slip & his only glass = toast. So I read reviews, just as you're doing now. Libby makes several different sets, all roughly similar in cost, so I picked the set that I thought he would like. -dishwasher-able, at least I thought they were, so I did, top rack, and they did fine -nice heft, not too clunky and not too thin -seems to be a good size for a regular martini -the z curve fits well into the hand, one way small hands & turn it around for large -12.99 for 4, priced well, quality is quite good for the cost although not what one would buy if looking for crystal.

Comfortable, Unique Design

I nearly went with the Libbey Swerve 4-Piece Martini Set because of the design and the reviews, but then I found the Z-Stem Martini Set. I could tell the Z-Stem would be more comfortable to hold and "safer" to carry since my fingers would lock within the design. Sure enough, my hand fits perfectly along the stem for easy, non-spill enjoyment despite the large bowl. The bowl is large (9.25 oz.) on the Z-Stem Martini Set, which can be a convenience or a detriment depending on your style of drinking. On the same token, there's no law stating you have to fill any glass up to the rim! These are not crystal martini glasses, but they are sturdy (dishwasher safe) glasses for informal use. I like them, and I recommend them, and you can't beat the quality, especially at this price.

Nice size with good quality and price

I needed to replace a few martini glasses that I broke and these are perfect! I like the size and they are a bit thicker, so better durability. Good price too!

Z Stem Martina glasses

My wife and I love these Z stem martini glasses. They are easy to hold and have served us well for many years. Broke one glass a few weeks back , so i ordered 4 more. Love these glasses

Eye Appeal

I love the design of these Martini glasses. They feel sensuous in my hand but yet aren't fragile like a hummingbird. I would offer a martini two male or female in this glass gladly.

Update: Its been more than 2 years and friends who received this as gift from us still loves it - and EVERYTIME i visit, i am envious and enjoy drinking from it! Got these as presents for a friend. They are really handsome looking; the stems adds so much character to a plain martini glass. Not too thin so great for those who are afraid of thin glass. handles well. good for dishwasher. i love them so much and would have gotten a set for myself but we dont drink martini too much.

wonderful glasses that immediately became house favorites

Fabulous, wonderful glasses that immediately became house favorites. Almost did not buy, since stem design seems more for visual effect. However, the Z-stem design, and how it is implemented, produces the perfect fit with one's fingers, making the glass extremely stable and less prone to slip than the traditional straight-stem design. The glass itself is a little heavy but of decent quality. Stands up well to use and dishwasher. Best $10 ever spent on glassware. Honestly, having used these for months, would recommend even if the price was twice as high.

Adorable and Sturdy!

Gotta love these! They have just the right weight to feel great in the hand. The zig-zag stem also provides an even better grip than the straight stem of traditional martini glasses. They also have a slightly deeper "cup" than most martini glasses, so there tends to be less spillage. The construction is a bit thicker, too, which will hopefully make them last longer. If you're a die-hard martini fanatic like me, you can't go wrong with these glasses!

Add the gin and some olives and whoever wanted martinis were very happy. Easy to hold even after three. Not going to guarantee how it will hold up after 4 or 5 but I'd be passed out by then
