This was a HUGE hit at an Easter party. Yeah, why not bring a shocker game to an Easter party right?! It gives a pulsating shock but only from a few AA batteries. It's more the anticipation that gets you. A real ice breaker. It does intimidate people though when they see the "tough guys" dropping the handle when they get their little shock but it's not bad at all - its just surprising. People are nervous to try it out but after a while, everyone wants a shot at it!

I bought this game for my sons 13th birthday and we played it at his party. It was a huge hit. So much so that he will play by himself if no one else wants to go again lol. He is 13 and getting shocked is cool lol.

Great for parties. level 4 on 3 shocks are a lot stronger than I would have imagined. lol

Oh my -- got some laughs out of this one!!!! That alone made it well worth the price paid. Everyone saw the 3 tiny triple-A batteries going in and said "Awwww, that's nothing." Bwaaaahahaha It will get your attention and ages 11yrs to 70yrs in our house got a huge kick out of it. I think it will get pulled out of the game closet several times throughout the year, so I call it a good purchase. Seems to be well made and hopefully will hold up for more fun!!

Bought this for my nephew, 11, and cousin, 17, for Christmas. It was a big hit at the Christmas party last night involving my nephew! I think said nephew is a little young for this- he was scared to try it after watching his 15 year old sister yelp after getting shocked by the game. But it was definitely entertaining for all of us to watch this game being played. We were just about rolling on the floor laughing watching the grown men's reactions to the impending shock! I'm glad I ordered two of these and I'll consider buying more if another occasion arises. You can pick the number of players, from 1–4. Each player holds a 'joystick' while the machine plays suspenseful music and the light flashes red. Once the light turns green, the last player to press their button gets shocked! Just a couple of quick FYI's: One player found out the hard way that if you push the button early to avoid being last, it shocks you immediately! Also, a listing I saw here on Amazon mentioned a medium setting. However, I only saw regular and intense settings.

What started out as a gag game, has turned into how I dictate which of my 3 kids will do chores. If I lose, I take the garbage out and do the dishes myself. Chores just got a little more fun around this camp.

I bought two of these, one for myself and one for a Christmas present. Depending on the crowd you run with, either they're going to hate it or love it. I have found that more men love it than women, because men love to do really stupid things to each other, (unlike most women). This device is great for those "He-Man" guys who want to prove how tough they are especially. Oh sure, you can set the current so low that you can barely feel it, but the ANTICIPATION is what's more scary than the actual shock! But if you've had a couple of beers, you may decide to set it on "Frankenstein Mode" and watch the dead come to life when they get shocked. Yes, it's odd. No, it's not for everyone. It takes 3 AAA batteries so how bad could it be? (you dont want to know) For the price, I think it should be in every mans Man Cave!

Exactly as expected. Silver handles are plastic, light, cheap feeling. The shock is great, different levels of intensity...feels intense either way. Age says for players 14 years and older. My nephews are 7 & 9 (put they're real tough cookies though) and they loved it! I have nieces age 8...didn't like it so much. Lol Just depends how tough your kids are and sense of humor. Great adult game though. After awhile though, your natural reflexes will start to kick in and you'll probably just end up dropping the handle instead of pressing the button (HOW TO PLAY: requires min. of 2 players, start by pressing the middle button, music and red lights will go off, randomly music will stop and red light turns green, PRESS THE BUTTON!!!.....slowest to press the button gets shocked).

Got this for my dad as an early Christmas present. I was not prepared for how big of a hit this game would be at our family party. Everyone kept taking turns playing, and coming back for more. There are different settings for the intensity of the "shock". Even on the highest setting, there are no lasting after effects. The "shock" more startles you than actually hurts. There are suction cups on the base of the game to hold it onto the table during play. This is a good idea since players may jerk or pull away suddenly during gameplay, and the game could go flying. All in all, highly recommend. Fun, unexpected game that will keep your party guests entertained.

Got this for my boys ages 10 & 12, they love it. They're dad loves it. I hate it. It doesn't really hurt that much it's just nerve wracking to play and they want to play ALL the time! It has four handles to hold and they INSIST it won't work with three people but I'm sure that's just a lie so they can laugh at me shocking myself lol!
