This is the best frying pan I've ever had for a couple of reasons. First, the non stick works well and it's durable. My other creuset pans gets scratches easily, but not this one, even after we've used it almost every week for some time now. Also, the size and high edges are great for making sauces and pasta dishes etc since it can fit a lot of liquid. Glass lid is a plus since it's useful for many dishes. All in all, even though pricey, great buy that I feel will last many years to come.

Expensive, but excellent

Initial cooking experience is great. Heavy (as it should be). Really flat bottom, so cooking oil stays evenly distributed (assuming your stove is level). Heats VERY evenly. For example, I did catfish in breadcrumbs and old bay in just a bit of oil and it came out perfect, with nice even browning, and of course, no sticking.

I love this pan. It's the best chicken fryer I have ever had. The pan is heavy, although not as heavy as my cast iron cookware, which I'm glad of because I have arthritis in my hands and wrists. I have used metal utensils and it has not marked the pan's surface so far. If anything changes I'll update my rating.

Great Capacity but Heavy

Like the deep sides. Don't have to worry about overflowing before things cook down. It is heavy though so be prepared.

Great set of cookware

This was an add on to the set we already have. We have had this set for two years and it still looks like it did when it came out of the box. The non stick surfaces are still perfect and we actually cook better with them. We just needed an extra saute pan this size as it is very versatile for us.
