Great Product

Hey folks don't pay extra to have someone laminate your stuff. I just do it myself. Have used this for ages and when someone ask me "do you want to pay an extra $1.00 or $2.00 to have that laminated?" I say no. Found it years ago in office supply store, and now I just get it at a better price here. One box lasts us a long time. Use it for making check lists, permits, medication lists just about anything you take in and out of your wallet. But be careful some documents will tell you not to laminate, like #ss cards. Also good for waterproof paper, to some degree at least.

Poster size self-adhesive laminating film

This was exactly what I need to laminate a large poster (pic 1). The paper backing is pre-sectioned so that you can line up a strip to the edge and then use a straight edge to smooth the poster down while slowly rolling it onto the surface and removing paper backing as you go. I was a bit bummed that applying the laminating to the back of my poster didn't work, but hey this was a test run for 6 more lol. For the future posters, I plan to apply smaller squares of laminating to the back corners for a tape surface rather than covering the entire surface of the back.

CLEARLY a great product :-)

I was SO unsure about buying self-laminating sheets, thinking that they wouldn't be completely clear. Well, as soon as you start smoothing this down on your item, it became CLEAR that was not the case, lol. I've already laminated a couple of items and I couldn't be happier! The cost, along with the ease of cutting and manipulating the film, will keep me coming back for more. Thank you!

Just what I was looking for

I bought some self adhesive laminate sheets many years ago. I have used it for everything from important documents to newspaper comics and articles. I finally ran out and I've been looking for that style of laminate at a good price for over a year. So I ordered these. As I was starting this review I read a review where the product was passed it's use by date. I peeled back a couple of sheets and thankfully the laminate was supple and worked perfectly. Now as long as it stays reasonably clear I will be completely satisfied.

This is a great product! It's easy to use

This is a great product! It's easy to use. The backside is marked with gridlines to make straight cutting a breeze. The backing is easy to separate from the laminate. It stays adhered to whatever you put it on, and it's the perfect weight to protect with a crystal clarity.

Good strong quality

Heavy duty, but needs burnishing with popsicle stick or other soft-ish (not pointed) tool. Gets out the "texture-ish" look and makes adhesive stick permanent. High quality product. Makes your laminated project strong and not flimsy like the Avery laminating sheets. Thicker plastic I'm guessing with C Line.

ok

I just used it to attach a protective film to my photo. very useful. But if you put a protective film on a larger picture, there will be bubbles on the surface. So I don't recommend using it to give a large picture a protective film.

Works

Short and sweet review. Works for what bought it for. Thick quality, liked that there were alot of full sheet included in package. Easy to use . Do recommend because what you cover with doesn't yellow over time. I've used them before . Pricey

Super heavyweight the best!

I love the super heavyweight for making braille labels. I am a blind officeworker, run the office, manage two case loads and run a supplies store. These sheets get used for braille labeling from file folders, store price tags, speed-dial lists, fax number lists, creditcard procedures tacked to the side of my brailler, reminder card size for typing out deposit slips, I could go on. I discovered the small sized cards almost 30 years ago at Woolworth's, and can't seem to find these in local stores anymore. C-Line and Amazon, keep selling the super heavyweight!!!!

Two Great Features I Love!

I'm new to this brand and I am highly pleased with these laminate sheets. First of all, they are a bit over sized so it is very simple and easy to position 8 1/2" paper in the center - just a bit of trim and you have a perfect fit! Another great feature is that you don't have too work hard to remove the laminate from the backing paper - there is a 3/4" strip that is easily identified so that the back comes away from the laminate sheet quickly. I love it! Both these features in addition to the handy grid lines on the backing paper make this laminate the best I have ever used for crafting and general office needs!
