Great purchase, kids love them!

Our 4 and 5 year old love these markers. They used them every single day since the day we bought them until they started to run low on ink (which was many, many weeks later). These are the first markers that our kids have taken such great care of and have used them until they ran out of ink. The smells are pleasant and you can smell them on the paper for a little while after they color as well. We will be buying these again.

an 80s' child's dream come true!

seriously, my childhood in skinny markers... what is there not to love. There are 10 beautifully bright and smelly markers. I wish, in the 25 years that I've been using them, Mr. Sketch could come up with another smell for brown and black... brown could be cocoa and black could be burnt marshmallow... anything but licorice and cinnamon. But you don't buy Mr. Sketch not knowing those scents ahead of time anyway! These markers are great for charts in a meeting (the big fat markers are too) and they're great when I need to write on my desk calendar and make appts stand out or write up notes from a meeting for my bulletin board. Seriously, any kid from the 80s will love these.

My old ones lasted 6 years of moderate use! - didn't dry out!

I was saddened to no longer find these in my local store once my set purchased 6+ years ago finally began to run out of ink. These are my favorite markers for so many reasons! These are the same exact scents I remember from childhood, and the quality is fantastic for the price!! I use these primarily to write color coordinated notes on my calendars and highlight or circle days, and I was very impressed that my old ones have lasted so long, in fact the colors I sporadically used aren't even dry yet, but the colors I used most have run out of ink. The caps hold very tightly, and this extends the life very well!! I have to say though that there is one single design change I am not fond of with the caps, which is sharp bands extending the length of the cap. It feels harsh, and you have to twist the cap off because if you pull it doesn't feel good. My old caps just had very soft ridges, with a smooth edge. I greatly prefer the original design, but the caps are still as tight as they have always been, and i am expecting them to last as long.

Kids love getting school papers back with these markers!

I love using these markers and kids in my class love them too. I bought these as a gift for my newly graduated son as a gift for his new teaching career and unfortunately the package came destroyed. I taped it up but it lacked that presention I was going for. That's not the sent-amazing markers fault and I would still recommend them.

Great for the Classroom

I was gifted a set of these 4 years ago for my classroom. On my fifth year using them I had to replace a couple of the colors as they were starting to run out. I couldn't believe how long they lasted. The kids love when I used them for their papers-they were able to guess all of the scents. I love these markers and I can't believe what an amazing price they are for how long they last!

Fancier packaging, same awesome smell!

My 8 year old niece, had a recent birthday so I got her a super cute pair of earrings. The gift bag looked sad so I looked around for something to add and decided on one of those adult coloring books. She's basically a genius so I didn't want to get her a lame kid coloring book. Anyway, those bright, white, thick pages were asking for some markers rather than plain old crayons. I searched for some fine tip markers and came across this childhood throwback - Mr. Sketch!!! Freaking awesome. When they arrived, I carefully opened the package and sniffed every single one of them before carefully putting them back and placing them in her gift bag. Ahhh, memories :)

Smells Great, Looks Great, Writes Great... What a Bargain!

I absolutely love these pens! Each one smells pretty accurate to what they're supposed to smell like. Even the licorice has the disgustingly accurate smell of black licorice. Although the point isn't as fine as a pen, it is small enough to where you can write things fairly easily. As seen in the picture bellow, these markers barely bleed through, which is another huge plus! And (my favorite part!) is that it's a wonderful price! I would definetely recommend this item to anyone who is looking for a fun, easy-to-use, marker for kids or adults! I will be buying again!

Great quality markers and your kids will LOVE them!

These markers are fantastic! I have bought everything from the stix, to normal, special edition, and they are all great. My daughter who has loved these since she discovered them at age 5. Yes, they are at a much higher pricing point, but the smells are so strong and stay strong. They remain true to the smell that they say they are replicating. The markers themselves are actually very nice and last a long time. We have bought so many of these over the years and will continue. Great product and so much fun to have pictures smelling like "cotton candy!"

The BEST!

I've been a long time fan of Mr. Sketch markers. They were always put in my Christmas stockings as a small child and then I used them to write colorful (and scented!) notes to my friends all the way through middle and high school. I loved them then and I love them now as a mother to a creative young girl. The colors are vibrant, the scents smell fantastic, and they are offered at such a reasonable price point. Along with the traditional scents, they are also offered now in a Holiday Collection and also a Movie Night collection-- so fun! I love sharing little bits of my childhood with my daughter. Nice Markers!

The colors seem vibrant. Scents are strong, distinct, yet not overwhelming. I can smell the scents from the paper I tested them on. Only wish they came in more colors and that the were finer tipped. I’m also impressed that there’s not much bleed through even though I tend to press down hard when I write and that the paper was relatively thin. I highly recommend these markers. Would make a fun gift as well.
