My hedgehog, Pinto, ADORES her exercise ball!!!

This exercise ball is everything that I hoped it would be! It is a bit difficult to line up the tabs of the door in order to get it shut correctly, but that is a learning curve that will EASILY be adjusted to. Pinto, my hedgehog, LOVES rolling around the house in her ball. She would spend HOURS in it if I allowed her to. It is easy to clean, and is so entertaining to watch as Pinto zooms around the house!

Great Ball for hedgehogs

May 12th 2016 - Just received this yesterday for my new hedgehog. We are still getting used to one another, but he loved this ball. I needed to clean the cage and put him in the ball with the kids watching while I worked. I figured he might move around a little, but he was off any rolling in no time. The best part is watching the cats and dog move out of the way in terror of the big ball with the tiny hedgehog in it. The ball is huge for him currently, but I expect he will grow and I will be glad I have a big ball. I did have some struggles getting the ball together. It just didn't want to snap together as some of the tabs were misshapen. A little squeeze with some handy pliers and we were good to go. I haven't had the lid pop off, but I do see that it might happen eventually. I haven't had an issues with scratches, but only time will tell.

Bought this a few days ago for my rat! I had her in a 7inch Ball before, and she'd simply grown much to big for it! (I'd gotten her as a baby!) I wanted something she definitely wouldn't grow too big for, and this was it! When it arrived, it was HUGE! It really is a 13inch ball, think about as tall as a cat! My ratty is loving all the room, and is zooming about the house now, chasing our cat and chihuahua and exploring confidently and comfortably! I had concerns when I first saw it that it was so big she wouldn't be able to move it, but she had NO PROBLEM and is running around to her hearts content! Definitely a great buy for an adult rat!

Very Sturdy

This was bigger than I thought but decided to keep it because my Syrian hamster has a lot of room to play in the run-about while I’m cleaning her house. She is able to run in it quite easily and has the time of her life. Once in it she doesn’t want to leave it. Lol. It’s very sturdy and it has not popped open in her travels which makes me very happy. I highly recommend this run-about.

Great for my little baby

Recently adopted a baby rat and she is a ball of energy. We decided on this ball because it gave her room to grow. She loves the illusion of freedom that it provides. She is super social and loves to be in the mix, this allows her to follow us around and explore without the fear of her getring lost or stuck somewhere. Not to mention this was $20 cheaper than my local pet store and I didnt have to leave my house...bonus.

I love this ball. I bought this for my hedgehog. I wanted her to be able to explore around the house without having to worry about her being injured. This was perfect! The kids absolutely love watching her roam up and down the halls. The hedgie can explore without the cats hurting her as well. The brave little thing likes to go and see the cats. I do recommend cleaning this before and after every use. ( My hedgie usually poops in it) I would think this size ball would work well for a guinea pig as well. Highly recommend!

Got it for my Hedge Hog

I got this ball for my hedgehog, she loves it as far as I can tell, she loves running around on the floor but since I have cats, that's a no go. Now she can run around with them and I don't have to worry as much about her, they do poop while I'm there and if your don't want a filthy animal I'd watch for that and clean it up ASAP. For the product itself I rated it 5 stars but the packaging where it was taped was already opened so I may have received a used ball, I can't be for sure but that's what my guess is. It's still a great product though, easily put together and usable.

with an easy open top

We got this for our daughters Christmas hedgehog. Once she figured out that she could roam about as she please in this giant plastic ball it's been smooth sailing. The ball is a heavy plastic material, with an easy open top. It's easy to clean up, and thank goodness since the hedgehog believes this to be her liter box. Great quality. Very happy with the product, and would recommend for other hedgie owners.

Rat Sister's Teamwork!

I bought this for my 2 rats hoping to see how they individually like the ball, but it turns out they like being in the ball together and coordinate to explore (and even follow me) around the apartment. It's actually very adorable and allows me to clean their cage without having to worry if they are getting themselves in trouble--unless they get the ball stuck under something (lol), then I have to wedge them out.
