Perfect for healthy, homemade gummy candy! Gelatin set up nicely and fast! Eating these is like eating your bone broth, and delicious! Gummy Bear Recipe Before beginning, determine how much liquid you need to fill a tray of gummy molds. I used these molds (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XGB6KB9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_vLlCBbK3QQHDQ) and each mold needed 1/3 cup liquid, which was perfect! Makes 150 gummy bears (using molds at link above) Ingredients 1 cup 100% fruit juice (white grape or apple take other flavors well) 3 Tbsp gelatin (everyone recommended Great Lakes Unflavored Beef Gelatin - orange can) 1 Tbsp honey or the equivalent of your preferred sweetener 1-2 tsp ground turmeric (for orange color, if desired) Essential oils for flavor (WARNING: only use high grade essential oils such as Young Living as others can be adulterated and not safe for food use - leave out if questionable) Tools Gummy molds Eye dropper dispensers (come with many molds) Baking sheet (to hold molds) Small saucepan Glass measuring cup (1 cup size) or small, heat-safe bowl Small whisk or fork Directions 1. Place molds on baking pan 2. Make sure there is space to set the pan in the fridge 3. Add juice and honey to small saucepan 4. Bring juice mixture almost to a boil, stirring occasionally (it will make a loud noise about 30 seconds before it boils). If it does boil, let it cool a little before continuing 5. Pour 1/3 cup of the hot juice into the measuring cup 6. Add 2 drops essential oil 7. If you want a yellow color, add 1 tsp turmeric powder and whisk in 8. Slowly sprinkle in 1 Tbsp of gelatin while continually gently whisking. Be careful not to add too much at once or it will clump 9. Use the eye dropper to transfer gelatin liquid into individual gummy molds 10. When all gelatin liquid is used, rinse eye dropper in hot water. No need to rinse other utensils, but that is up to preference 11. Reheat remaining juice mixture, then follow steps 4 through 9 again to fill more gummy molds. Add different flavors each time at step 6 12. Place tray of filled molds in refrigerator for 20 minutes 13. Pop out and enjoy, or store in a covered container in the refrigerator. Warning: they say this kind of gummy melts if left out of the fridge for too long, just like jello, though I am not sure how long it would take.

This product is Great! I can mix it with hot or cold drinks, but, you have to judge based on due diligence how much to use. I experienced some bloating when I drank 4 tablespoons a day. Gelatin can cause bloating if you take too much, according to WebMD. I cut back to 2tbsp a day. I have a vitamin regimen in place already. So this was an added benefit for additional hair, nail, and skin strengthening.

Hey guys, just thought I'd share a few thoughts. This isn't my first time trying Great Lakes gelatin, but it's a bit inconvenient to take so I don't use it as often as I should. Unfortunately, I've read that you probably need to take it consistently to get significant results. I've tried dissolving in hot coffee. Not bad, but I just refuse to add much powder, because I always end up with a bunch of undissolved grossness at the bottom of the mug. No and ick. I have a mug that still won't wash out because some gelatin decided to get stuck down there like cement. I've tried adding to foods, namely omelettes and breakfast burritos. This works, but the texture of your food stands a good chance of being somewhat...not improved. Well, here's an idea that I've recently thought of. Try filling empty gel capsules. 1,000 on amazon for less than ten bucks. Get a glass of OJ and lo and behold...as long as I can make a habit of it this is as painless as it gets. I'll let the more experienced reviewers list out the benefits of the product itself. I'm kind of new at this particular supplement. Anyway, hope this helps. I'll just admit I feel like a drug addict pouring gelatin powder in empty pill capsules like some crazy health junkie. I swear, I can quit anytime I want to.

I have been taking Great Lakes gelatin for a little over a year and the difference was amazing. My hair became more shiny and strong, my skin glowy, and my nails strong. I recently ran out of my gelatin stash and procrastinated ordering more, a few weeks later I could feel my skin getting more dry and dull! So I'm back on this stuff! This is for sure one of those supplements that you can actually see making a difference.

Extremely important for health. And it is anti-ageing. Heals the digestive tract. This is awesome, organic, no pesticides or hormones, and we add it to soups, makes them taste better. Sprinkle it on cooked vegetables under butter and it will melt and make them taste far better. (asparagus fried in butter - ketogenic and very healthy!!! Then pour the cooked olive oil-sriracha mixture over it (that the steak cooked in). ....MMMMMMM!!!!!! What a great way to lose weight, become fat burning, FULL of energy, and feel AMAZING< look and feel 20 years younger. Also, we got a few Keto cookbooks... the 30 day Ketogenic cleanse. Great recipes!!! I pulled out our "Lodge" iron skillet (from amazon) and what i love about it is that it never has to be washed!!!!!!! I scrape it out then wipe it with a paper towel. No rinsing needed, etc. Bacon and one or two eggs in the morning. NOTE: in the GAPS diet, bone broth is very important - it heals the digestive system. It is just darn healthy. People KNEW to eat this, up until the 1050's - just like all the other wisdom that got almost wiped out in the 1950's and 1960's - when they drank canned milk and eat canned food and nothing else-eeew!! Anyway - gelatin rebuilds your cartilage - after a while you feel YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Look young too! grest for rebuilding the colalgen in your skin, face, body, organs. I get this because i have not yet had time to make beef broth myself..... this seems a great shortcut and also an amazing cooking item that makes food taste extra great. A separate note about going KETOGENIC: it means fat burning. it is not related to other stuff that sounds like it has a similar name. it means fat burning. Anyway, when you start, a TON of yeasts and bad bacterias in your body die off by the trillions - the critters making you tired all the time and hungry all the time - and your body has to deal with eliminating them. So you have 1-2 difficult weeks (at least I did). Once you convert from burning sugar (carbs) into burning FAT, then you have ENERGY ALL THE TIME!!!! LIKE YOU ARE 20 OR 40 YEARS YOUNGER!!! And you are never hungry!!!!! It is well worth helping your body. It is your body's natural state. Speaking of fat burning VS sugar (carb) burning --- a cancer cell is a cell that does not have enough oxygen, and LOTS of sugar around it to metabolize, so it begins to metabolize sugar instead of oxygen. The cell, instead of dying, has converted the way it stays alive, in order to stay alive, It is then called a cancer cell. An Austrian doctor many decades ago won TWO NOBEL PRIZES for his work in this, which is very lengthy (oxygen/ie walking outside EVERY day without fail, and adequate water, are VITAL for health. Times 100!) I believe his last name was Warburg. Anyway, knowing that about burning sugar/carbs, VS burning fat - imagine how much healthier your body is burning fat rather than carbs. Carbs puts a terrible stress on the body - I know because i'm now one of the millions of people that has gone to fat burning and what a massive impact it has on health and energy and youth.

This is the best gelatin supplement! I got this for collagen benefits and it works amazingly well! My hair grows like crazy, my skin looks great, my nails are strong, and my joints feel the benefits!! I had my mom use it for her achy joints, she loves it so much she takes it with her when she travels. I use this every morning and it's fast to where I only mix it for a minute and it's drinkable still. I've gotten some gelatin that gels up immediately, but this one is perfect. If you want to make a jello with it, you can definitely do it withe this and it's quite fast! Product is of great quality! Arrived fast, as described and well-packaged!

Do exactly as the directions say and this will work. I dissolve it in my creamer first and let it sit for a minute. Then I pour my hot coffee on it and drink. This is my second bottle of this stuff. I am a 40yo woman who works out and lifts heavy almost everyday. So my joints take a beating. I use to take 10 different supplements including Glucosamine but stopped everything and only take this and my joints and knees feel perfect! Oh! And my nails are growing and NOT breaking!!
